Very good location, close to the town, beach and right opposite BIC.

The room we were assigned was very hot and we couldn’t have the window open as so many flies came in. We think this was to do with the greenery on the outside of the building. The shower was very basic, would be better if modernised. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable, myself and partner found it difficult to sleep as a result.

The location is brilliant, the restaurant Crab 🦀 is exceptionally good , in terms of our meals (taste and presentation) they exceeded our expectations. They have an amazing team in the kitchen. The service was brilliant too , very polite, attentive, and very helpful. Massive than you to everyone in the restaurant. The room was big , comfortable and very clean, it had a wonderful sea view from the window. The bed was OK, the pillows could be better. Nice shower, lots of toiletries, very clean. The service team of reception was brilliant too ,very welcoming, polite, and helpful.

Just the pillows.

Everything, food was amazing, room excellent. Breakfast smashing plenty of variety and nice surroundings.only comment for other patrons you need to like fish and sea food as we did but some folk may not like it every day. Being a graphic designer for many years, I would have like to have seen your notices and menus outside a little tidier and looking more readable and nice to look at. As many people walked by and found it difficult to read and untidy and quite few I think would have come in instead of walking away. Having said that someone did tidy it up a little towards the end of our week.

Nothing, however being slightly disabled the hill up and down was a problem for me. Might consider a mobility hire scooter next time

The location was superb as it was close to the beach and the view was incredible at night. The receptionist Preeti was very friendly and made the check in easy and she gave us a free upgrade. Also she gave us some ideas where to go and how to go about also. It was a pleasure to have meet her. Also the hop in hop off bus was located just in front of the hotel. There was lots of restaurants and the city center was just walking distance.

The breakfast could have been better as there was not many choices to choose from. If you are staying for more than 3 days, you may get put off by the breakfast. There were just not enough variety to choose from. I was not totally not happy with the breakfast.

It was very comfortable and in a great location for the beachfront and park. We came specifically for the Air Show so chose the hotel based on its proximity to everything, and it certainly delivered. I’m glad we managed to upgrade to a Signature double sea view room because the view of everything was brilliant but I think a normal double with a sea view would have been quite adequate for the 2 of us and better value generally. The small balcony next door was a great idea for a bit of outside space to watch the evening event as well. Having the BIC opposite for parking was good, even though on-site parking would have been even better! We didn’t have an evening meal, but breakfast was very good, and the restaurant is lovely.

With unusually warm weather the room could certainly have benefitted from air conditioning. Although opening the top windows helped, and the freestanding fan was a bonus, with the sun having come in all day it remained very hot. The only other slight issue is in the bathroom - there is nowhere to put toilet bags or other items by the sink. If it had a sink unit of some kind it would help. The shelf is really too small to put anything on. Its also a shame that the very large illuminated sign opposite doesn’t go off at night!

I thought the location was great even though it was a fair dish from the town especially if you have mobility issues like I have. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The room we were given wasn’t very nice. Really small and the furniture was old and old fashioned. We asked if we could move. The receptionist allowed us to look at 3 rooms. We chose the largest room even though it was front facing onto the main road. The rain shower head was not suitable for a shower cubicle. You could not shower without getting your hair wet. Although our room was cleanish, there was an unopened condom just under the bed and the bottom of the shower cubicle had ground in dirt.

All staff were excellent, polite, friendly, helpful but the reception staff were exceptional in accommodating our needs. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and there was a fan with a timer to help us sleep. Good breakfast, though coffee fresh but never very hot, and service attentive. Lovely soft pillows on comfy bed, nice shower and location as good as it gets in terms of proximity to town and beach.

One of the very few things that let down the hotel a little were in the bathroom - both sink taps constantly dripped, in fact the cold ran unless you had the strength of Thor to turn it to a drip and in this climate of trying to save water it really isn't acceptable. Also the toilet paper is a bit thin and basic - I expected a better quality for a 4* hotel. Finally parking charged at £14 per day which adds a lot to a holiday. Not the cheapest around - nor the most expensive - but although not on site, it was undercover and easily accessible and we were able to park earlier and leave later than check-in.

Comfortable Staff very friendly and helpful especially the man on reception on our arrival as I was travelling with my disabled friend, we booked this place as needed somewhere very close to venue (pavilions) that did a 1 night stay.

Was a little bit pricey for a 1 night stay as going to see a show at pavilions so made it more expensive for 1 night away but needed it for position ( disabled ) and other hotels around not taking 1night bookings we would of liked to have eaten in the restaurant before our show but not liking sea food could not.( only 1 other option on menu not seafood )

All of the receptionist were professional and helpful. The gentleman on reception who I unfortunately didn't get the name was very kind. Special mention to Ajay and Amrit who both went the extra mile to make sure I am okay and happy with everything. Both are very personable and a credit to the establishment. They both deserve credit for the fantastic service they give.

My Signature sea view room was a little bit dusty on the bedside table and on other surfaces. The cleaner rushed me to vacate my previous room when it wasn't 11 am check out time yet since I extended my stay and booked a different bigger room. It was difficult to communicate to the cleaner due to the language barrier. Otherwise Ajay made up for this experience as he was very helpful and professional.

Comfortable, spacious and well furnished room (in a higher price range, so we expected that). Good and varied breakfast. Cheerful and helpful staff. Principally excellent location.

Heavy kitchen smells all through the house. Rather stark restaurant where we were served the wrong drink after explicitly asking for something else and a dirty menu folder smeared with remnants of food. The theatre just opposite flooded the room with a bright "light show" advertising 24h a day. Hardly the fault of the hotel but were we not supposed to be conserving energy ?
