The location is fantastic. The room was superb and very clean and comfortable. The staff were great. You can walk out of the hotel and straight into St. Nicks market where there are lots of food stalls.

It's a shame that when you book via Booking.com you don't get free use of the spa facilities. This was not clear to me when booking and the spa was part of the reason for picking this hotel. In the end, the hotel was so good that I didn't regret the decision, and we didn't really have time to use the spa anyway.

Location and quality of the building

Was not warned to book spa as early as possible so when booked it couldn’t get a slot I wanted that fitted with day couldn’t use the spa for very long - very strict with access so wasn’t great

Surprise room upgrade was incredible and although the TV was broken the staff gave an honestly good try at fixing it even though maintenance wasn't available. When failing to repair the TV we were offered a complimentary breakfast which was very generous although we wasnt able to attend breakfast due to an event we were attending at 8am. we will 100% return for these reasons. The man who i believe must have done the night shift and the lady on reception Friday the 28th November 2024 should definitely receive praise from their manager.

Could not fault. We unfortunately missed dinner and breakfast due to other events outside of our or the hotels control wish we could have tried the food and the spa

Great location, cosy bed & very clean room. Bar/ restaurant and front of house staff were very friendly and helpful. I will likely stay again but will avoid the food & any extras.

Food looked nice but me and my partner was quite dissatisfied as we thought it was lacking in flavour, quite bland yet expensive (breakfast) The spa was nice but the main pool didn’t look very clean & there was overall about 8 people in there in this hour we booked which I thought was quite a lot for how small the room is. Total we paid about £340 for one night (about £56 was added just for breakfast and use of the pool for a hour) I think this should be included in the price of the room - I just think this was rather expensive for what it was.

A hotel full of character and charm, with really attentive staff. At check-in the receptionist was dealing with an issue for another guest and listening to her care and interaction told us we were in safe hands. Our superior room was really impressive, with an extremely comfortable bed and pillows ( which makes or breaks a hotel ). The location is brilliant for central Bristol. We ran out of time to use the spa but it looks really inviting. Next time for sure. We did have a small issue to deal with while there ( regarding our room ), which was handled with incredible efficiency, courtesy and care—the sort of customer care lacking today. I highly recommend this hotel, and we will be returning. Keep it up, Harbour Hotel.

Our room was quirky, possibly being part of the old bank manager's offices. We had a nice looking atrium outside the room which was shared with the neighboring room, added a bit of privacy away from the rest of the hotel. Comfy bed, nice seating area and great bathroom with a large bath.

Nightclub noise was audible late into the night. Didn't really impact us sleeping, but it was there. Windows could do with a clean on the outside. The TV is small and not really up to today's standards. Bath great, but no shower (except the little handheld one). If you were looking for a quick "get up and go" in the morning, you'd struggle.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location for exploring Bristol. The reception staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and had everything you could need. We made use of the spa facilities, which while small are a great way to relax after a day of exploring the city. We didn't eat at the hotel but the cocktail bar and restaurant both looked very nice.

The hotel is right in the centre next to restaurants, bars and shops so it can be a little noisy at night (we heard a local bar emptying the glass bin a few times for example) but nothing that disturbed us too much. The spa was great but it is small, but great as a free addition if you book direct with the hotel.

The room was clean and the bed very large and comfortable. The location of the hotel was great. I thought it might be noisy, but it wasn't. The snug bar at the back of the hotel was really lovely and the bar staff were fantastic. I left a dress behind, and the reception staff (in this instance) were fantastic and sent the dress back to me efficiently.

The room was, I felt, a bit small and ordinary for the money I paid. It says it is a boutique Otel, and perhaps some rooms are, but this one was just a normal room. We had a spa booking and were a little late. there were only 2 of us, but they said we couldn't use the spa. We did in fact still have half an hour of our booking left, but there was no discussion at all about this.... just a flat no. They didn't offer an alternative.... and seemed a bit uninterested actually. The front bar area was completely deserted for the whole time we were there. Not very welcoming, as opposed to the snug bar, which closed early.... too early for us on a Saturday night, I think it was 11pm!

The staff at this location were amazing helpful kind and always smiling. They went above and beyond. I was in a room over the function room room 203, the party went on till 12 it was like being in a disco a teenage event both Friday and Saturday . I was fuming as I had just lost my mother and wanted a quiet night, the window nearly fell out ( it’s an old beautiful building) but the staff were so accommodating, the beds so comfy, the afternoon tea divine and the spa and treatments luxurious thank you to all the staff or u would not have paid. Well done lovely workers

Location and the room were both great. Plenty space and big bathroom and comfy bed.

The steps on entering the hotel were a bit of a put off as I had a pushchair and it proved a bit difficult. Also the lift size was quite tight to accommodate me and the pushchair together, my wife or myself had to take tge chairs as all 3 of us couldn't fit in together. This is probably owing to the hotels central location, and the options of any work done could be limited because of this. That was my only issue.
