Excellent location for exploring the old part of town. The room was very modern, clean and furnished well. The beds extremely comfortable. Great tea and coffee making facilities provided.

Our room had no outside window. Instead we looked down on the foyer and front desk. This gave our room a cave like feeling. As we had booked for 4 nights we were disappointed. No where is this described when you book the room. Also, modern nice bathroom but no rails provided to hang towels anywhere.

Modern rooms, big bathroom, nice breakfast, friendly staff. The location is very good. Close to restaurants, cafés, St. Nicholas market with lots of food stalls. The river is 5 minutes away on foot and the university area 10 minutes. To get to the bridge in Clifton the walk is longer, about 35 minutes but very doable and enjoyable throughout Bristol and the Clifton area. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Everything was great. Just would have liked to know earlier that during breakfast it is possible to order for example poached eggs. I was only made aware of this because I saw other guests having some.

central location, clean, polite staff.

The only feature of any architectural merit is the beautiful entrance; the rest of surprisingly large hotel is totally clean and functional but sadly chain like. When we arrived late on a Friday evening the reception area smelt of stale cooking fat. Avoid the breakfast; it’s cheap for a reason! Bristol has lots of excellent cafes nearby and these are a much better bet.

booked for my daughter and fry. lovely hotel in great location. they thought the room was really great, comfortable beds and a great bathroom/shower. breakfast option very good

I had prepaid for the room but they had problems checking in and were being told that they needed to pay in full. quite stressful for them and they found the receptionist a bit curt. After I spoke to the hotel it was sorted but not a great first impression!!

We had an issue with our room with the bathroom flooding after using the shower, the problem was resolved as soon as we made reception staff aware and we were moved to another room. The room was comfortable and had air con and the bed was really comfortable and I had a great night sleep.

shower issues with the original room was worrying and potentially hazardous as the bathroom floor filled with water and water seeped out on to the bedroom carpet. It was a bit of a maze to get to our room as you had to access another level, walk around some corridors before finding another lift that took us to the 9th floor. Although their is signage it’s not often clear in some areas.

A very well run hotel, originally a printworks, in the centre of Bristol. Attractive decor with a comfortable and large bedroom which was clean and pristine. The public areas are also well laid out. Breakfast is very good and not too expensive with porridge on demand. Staff are helpful and there is an excellent bar. Location is good, close to all the main sites and shops.

The only provisos I have is that there is no hotel parking, although there are several public car parks close by. Also, there are a series of steps up the the main reception which can make it tricky when lugging a heavy suitcase.

I loved the hotel, fantastic location, right in the middle of the center. I arrived by train and walked to the hotel, and I left by bus to the airport, walked to the bus station. The hotel is nice, staff was extra helpful. I got a room on the 7th floor, spacious, a very good desk for work, a good chair for the desk. It is in a closed street, so there was no noise whatsoever, qI had great sleep in a comfy bed. The housekeeping was excellent, they changed everything and did it very quickly. I tried the fitness, it is not big but you have everything you need. There is water and extra towels prepared in the fitness, very useful! Air conditioning was spotless, and I could switch it off as well. Great stay. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Nothing. There is one thing I noticed, there was no toilet brush. I figured that in several hotels there is no toilet brush these days.

Location was really good & central to the city & bus stops. Staff accommodating with any questions asked.

Room was too hot, air conditioning must have been on a timer overnight. Too close to the stairs, door kept banging, residents noisy. Was meant to be in a deluxe double, which I thought was King-size but was put in a deluxe twin (Did query with reception, said happy to move but beds weren't any bigger) Hotel food & drink really expensive. Had poached eggs for breakfast 2 mornings, was told on the last, couldn't have as there was no one to poach them? Little choice of fruit/herbal teas, used my own.

The bathroom was really nice, very clean and good shower pressure. Little bonus of an overhead shower and a hand held one too. Towels were also very soft. The matress was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. For me these are always hit and miss with hotels, especially the pillows. The bedsteets were also soft. The size of the room was decent and the have an ice machine on the floor was great however there was no icebucket in the room.

Didnt like that there was no ice bucket. There also wasnt many channels on the TV. The hotel is a bit of a maze, I was on floor 9 and had to get a lift to floor 3, walk around the floor to another lift and go in that to get to floor 9.

Room was clean and big enough. I liked how big the bathroom was. Staff was really friendly and helpful. When having dinner at the restaurant, I ordered Cezar Salad but it came it anchovies where I am used to having it with chicken, so I asked one of the waiters and he immediately brought me chicken. Then they had problems with the card machine so we waited for like 15 mins to pay our bill and once we did we were offered free drinks at the bar for waiting patiently. That was I think a really nice gesture.

Lighting in rooms could defintely be better. The food at the hotel restaurant was so-so.
