Hotel looks great from the outside. Location perfect for town shopping in Cabot circus and we actually got the bus from outside upto Bristol University and walked back as it wasn’t that far (and was downhill). The room was great. Staff great. Bar manager brilliant and chatty. Food prices in bar also good. Breakfast had everything you could want and was plentiful. Parking very easy, NCP right next door. You can pay be card or app.
On arrival we saw hotel but went the wrong way and ended up doing a big loop to get back. Had no idea where to go so just went down the other side and found it. Sat nav doesn’t take you to front entrance. Double beds in rooms are tight for 2 adults.

It was roomy and clean, over all one of the nicer hotels I’ve been to for a decent price too, location was great
The balcony was locked and the windows didn’t open, in the bathroom the metal casing around the shower handle and around the door knob were loose and coming off, the bathroom door didn’t lock though it had a lock it just didn’t work Parking was kinda annoying, close by but it didn’t tell us anywhere it would be 17 quid a night and that we couldn’t leave after we already parked because it could only be validated once, so we got in pretty early and couldn’t drive anywhere until we left the next morning, that was fine for us but it would have been nice to have a heads up about that before hand But over all it was a nice hotel

Stayed with my son for a weekend in Bristol and thought the hotel was great. The location is very good (especially if you like shopping, as it’s right beside Cabot Mall, but there are lots of restaurants too which were more our thing than the shops). Very nice reception and public areas. The staff were very nice (Jamie especially on check-in). We were upgraded, which was very much appreciated and we were allowed to check in early. The room itself was very comfortable and the bed was one of the best I’ve had on hotels. The gym was also in the top 3 I’ve ever been in as regards hotel gyms!
The only minor gripes/improvements I would suggest are: (1) the WiFi in the room was pretty terrible; (2) and these days a smart tv (e.g with access to Netflix etc if we enter our own account details) is pretty standard in my experience in better hotels and a bit surprising this hotel’s TVs didn’t allow that. However, these were minor to us in the grand scheme of things and we would definitely return.

Great room, plenty of space, very clean and well appointed. The hotel in general was really nice, most of the staff were welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, excellent value.
We returned to the hotel bar after our evening out and were refused drinks at 11pm. The staff member was very blunt and wouldn't serve us even to take to our room. Traditionally hotel bars stay open later but this one didn't. We weren't drunk or behaving rudely and it left us feeling really disappointed especially given the bar staff demeanor

Overall it was lovely BUT The room 1025 had a very musty smell: every time we opened the door to go inside the room the musty smell was very strong which we got used to after 30 min. We tried to air the room but it made no difference! We stayed two nights. When we got home and opened the suitcase the musty smell came out of our suitcase as the clothes must have adsorbed the musty smell. This is slightly concerning....not sure what this be but we are going to have to wash all our clothes now. Second very minor remark: the gym was surprisingly great BUT all yoga mats were flaking material. The blue flaky blue material stained my gym clothes which fortunately came off though. It might be worth getting 5 new yoga mats to replace the unusable ones with!? The best I would say was the breakfast with loooads of fresh fruit. The lady with short blonde hair in the breakfast place offered my boyfriend on Saturday 1march even a decaff coffee when he mentioned he would like one. Thanks so much for a pleasant stay all over. Many greetings to the lovely team!!

The new room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. (I did have to change rooms as my tv didn’t work) but the positive was the staff member dealt with it quickly and I was moved to a new room on the same floor. Thank you. Another staff member gave me two bottles of water as I left (when I asked about it) as the new room they hadn’t had ready to put the water in I guess. After moving rooms, I was very pleased and I had a pleasant stay. All in all I’d stay again if need be.
I did have trouble finding the lift so I seemed to be going up and down the stairs thinking I’d find one. But after that I found a staff member on a different floor and they kindly directed me to the lift. Would be helpful to have a sign up to show where the lifts are located.

Lovely clean room, larger than the average room. Travelling with a family of 4, two teenage kids. Parking next door and in the centre of the town. Lovely bar, and breakfast was good value for money. The later checkout time is always a big bonus too. Thank you
If you use the carpark next to the hotel (not owned by the Marriott) try to avoid at night, some obvious drug users in the stairwells and the upper floors. This is not a comment on the hotel and would highly recommend a stay in the Marriott.

Stayed for one night with my partner in the junior suite. We liked the room, very clean, very comfy bed. Room has a good fridge, tea selection and safe. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and generally all very polite staff. Overall though we enjoyed the stay and would go again.
In the bedroom, the bathroom towels were a little on the small side and the bedroom doors cannot be closed quietly, which effected our sleep a bit. Twice in our visit we had to inform a member of staff that the soft drink needed replacing or fixed because it had gone bad. Both the machine in the Exec Lounge and my single drink at the bar. The receptionist didn't explain where the breakfast bar was or called, and where the exec lounge was. Neither did she explain whether we had late check out (which we did) We had to ask her all the questions. Also we couldn't figure out how to turn on the main ceiling lights in the room.

Really excellent breakfast menu for continental and English, with large variety of savoury condiments - would not have minded the addition of black and white pudding - and some way to heat croissants is a must - but overall, just really really good! Very friendly helpful staff. A very comfortable, centrally located hotel.
Although the air conditioning throughout the hotel was excellent, as a fresh air freak I would have preferred safely openable windows in the bedroom. The adjoining garage, while convenient, really really needs Marriot to provide a WRITTEN explanation of how prepaid booking works (validation, when and how, etc.) - verbal instructions on arrival are too easily misunderstood or forgotten ...!

We booked a double room for two nights for my birthday. One of the front desk staff, Gigi, was outwardly supportive in empowering women and offered an upgrade to the room. We were delighted. On the second night, Gigi and the management team also arranged entrance to the executive lounge and free breakfast as an additional surprise. They also surprised me with a balloon, bottles of Prosecco, chocolates, and a handwritten card for my birthday. This was so lovely and unforgettable. There was a reason we returned to Delta Hotels, and we will probably not choose to stay elsewhere after this treatment!
The executive lounge coffee machine was noticeably worse than the one in the resteraunt where breakfast was served. It isn’t that I did not like the room, I nit picking at this point.
