You get what you paid for, I read in the ratings it would be loud and it was so I knew what I was getting myself into. It’s in a very good shopping location and the bust from the airport will leave you very close. Has a small cage compartment where you can lock stuff and they’ll store your luggage after check out for free The showers have hot water.

They don’t change the sheets, I watched the cleaning lady just stretch the sheets out and fold the same comforter used by the prior person.. Someone stole my charger I left plugged into the wall lol. The bathroom smells like a public gas station toilet They’re hardly at the desk so call the number so someone can come down or you’ll be waiting forever

The staff a lady, she was so lovely. My husband booked this place for me and they even helped me get a nice down bed in a lovely room. One time I woke up really late to pee and forgot my key card, and I was so worried, she heard my voice probably but came out and helped me get sorted, that was like 3am I think. Was always checking up to ensure a lovely stay. I’ll say I’m happy.

Everything was perfect, I was worried about the music like I saw in the previous ratings but my experience was different, I didn’t hear any loud music maybe because of the location of my room but I had a peaceful time

Very central location in Bristol, plus there's a shopping street with cafés, shops and a supermarket a few steps away from the hostel. Expect bunk beds in the room but the matresses were comfy enough to rest our souls after a long day exploring Bristol and its surroundings. Bathrooms were cleaned thoroughly during our stay. If you're a light sleeper perhaps earplugs are a good option, there's a karaoke on the first floor and a bar downstairs. Although it was noisy at times we didn't have any problems in our sleep.

During our stay a few toilets were out of service. Don't expect any luminous, fancy facilities and uncorking champagne at your arrival, but for the price we paid we couldn't ask for more. Would totally recommend it.

The location was ideal. Just a short walk from the megabus stop. I asked a couple of police officers who showed me directions on the map. Reception staff were very helpful and my room was ideal. They also recommended a great little cafe Amore down the road. I met a lovely Australian lass during my stay and we had nice chats about her trip and advice for when i go there. I was also grateful for the staff letting me store my luggage so I could collect it on my way home. I would definitely recommend this hostel and will book again.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. I dont remember if there was a communal kitchen for our use, but I was working most of the time, so I mainly just used the showers and slept there. I think it'd be nice if they had karaoke in the bar area and not just in private rooms.

The beds and bedding was extremely comfy and better than I usually find in this type of hotel. Location is great, in the middle of town and it was great to get a private room for the 4 of us. Prove was exceptionally good value for location and comfort, I don’t remember when I’ve had such a good offer. Lovely bar downstairs with gorgeous bowling lanes open until 12.

No towels were available for us to wash but i don’t think that is always the case. Not a fan of the sort of indoor cabin wet rooms, tend to prefer standard showers and loos, but totally fine.

Loved how friendly the staff were, they were extremely accommodating. Really easy to chat to, and I was so surprised just how much they were willing to go the extra mile, even though I didn't ask for much. The fusbal table was a great little addition I wasn't expecting In the lounge area. The fact that you can take advantage of everything the building has to offer, the bowling, beer and food were great. The 6 of us all loved the calzones at the Lanes. The contained showers were awesome, consistent good temperature and powerful. Location is perfect, smack bang in the centre of Bristol.

Need more ping pong balls and paddles. But hey ho, I would be tempted to bring my own next time. Didn't bother me as much, but I think some of the group were hoping to be able to pay cash. Could do with a small table and chairs in the rooms

Located right in city centre proximity this property is worth every penny. I stayed in a 8 bed dormitory so had privacy. Kitchen is big, toilets are cleaned regularly, shower water is hot and most importantly staff are very kind/friendly.

On weekends music from the clubs beside may cause some inconvenience for those who choose to sleep early.

Comfortable, great location and facilities. Found the bed, pillows and blanket soft, slept like i would at home. I grew up on a farm with loud animals so honestly didnt notice the sound at all, but could be a problem for some

Kitchen could be a little more clean. No elevator so carrying luggage up and down was difficult.

i think i got lucky with my room and my roommates because had i stayed in another room I probably would have been annoyed by noise. and there were mice in the kitchen but they were respectful

Currently going thought some homeless issues but thankfully the rock and bowl is fairly cheap and have cheap a roof over my head for the best part of two weeks allowing me to get a good amount of sleep and shower. The staff are very friendly and helpful it does get a tad loud on Friday and Saturday due to being The lanes a live music/club venue but otherwise there is no issues
