Room was clean but a little basic. It does have tea and coffee making facilities and was kept well stocked with biscuits. Plenty of free parking and very close (10 yards) the Canterbury Bell pub for meals. It is located on a large shopping complex so close (within easy walking distance) to many other options for eating and entertainment.

Road noise could be heard with the window open but nothing the property can do about that. That said the room was air conditioned. Bathroom generally very clean but walls stained by condensation had not been cleaned. Stayed for the Jubilee Bank Holiday hence the price was inflated, hence I thought it expensive for this class of hotel. Lastly, only 2 floors but no lift could be an issue for the less mobile. If that's you request a ground floor room.

It was a lovely clean hotel. The food at the pub was excellent and brought out quickly. Good facilities for kids. The staff were all friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay there again.

We had a disabled room as my husband is in a wheelchair and he found the bed a little too high. The sink was quite near to the toilet so couldn't get his wheelchair comfortably in position to transfer. It would have been nice to have had an extra chair in bathroom to sit on after showering for non wheelchair users. We do appreciate all disabilities are different and not all are wheelchair users so it's difficult to adapt a room for everyone, overall we managed, it was one of the better disabled rooms we have been in.

For the price, everything was perfect. It's a simple hotel with everything you need and while the location is in the town, it's only two miles away from Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate. The hotel is directly opposite the pub which has a large menu and there's free parking as well. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to others. If you want very posh though you'll have to look elsewhere but I was very happy with it.

This was not a problem, more of a personal preference but I thought the pillows were a bit to tall which meant that two of them was too bulky but one wasn't quite enough. Simple solution though, I just put a folded towel under one of them and it was perfect for me.

Just twenty paces from our room is the Canterbury Bell where a hearty breakfast awaited! Loads of choices from continental to full cooked English fry-up. Staff were most helpful. The room was clean, warm and very quiet throughout the nights we stayed. This Marstons Inn is ideally placed for shopping at Westwood Cross, for the coast (just ten minutes drive and Broadstairs town centre for a wide choice of eating places and unique shops. Free car parking, a charging point and free wi-fi are an added bonus!

The weather! Nothing can change that; but as the Inn was warm & welcoming.....no probs!

The rooms were very clean and there was plenty of milk teabags and biscuits. The full English was excellent , the omelettes were tasty and plenty to choice for continental. Plenty to drink excellent value for money. Freshly cooked and hot.

All The staff were friendly and helpful even enjoyed the background music. My sister age 72 walks with mobile and partner 84 years old have learning difficulties but all staff were helpful and welcoming which helped us to relax.

Breakfast. Enjoyed breakfast every morning and excellent value. Same member of staff every morning, very friendly and helpful. Lunch/dinner. Food very enjoyable and hot. Added extra plates were always hot. Room Bed very comfy. Bathroom needed updated but clean. Plenty of tea, coffe etc and extra available on requst. Overall a very enjoyable stay with very friendly and helpful staff. Definatly will be back.

Excellent location. loved it. clean. restaurant and food places nearby. shopping malls are in walkable distance especially Marks and Spencer, Primark, TJ Maxx, Sainsbury, Aldi etc. bus stop to Margate and Ramsgate was nearby with great frequency. friendly reception and hotel staff. All these made my stay wonderful. I will definitely stay there again.

no elevator in the hotel. had heavy suitcases that was cumbersome to take up the stairs.

Room clean and comfortable. A tad basic, no chest of drawers, but adequate for a two night stay. The breakfast was exceedingly good value. Cereals, toast and unlimited coffee plus a good choice of cooked breakfast for under a tenner! The location was ideal for touring Thanet, equi-distant from Margate and Ramsgate.

The shower over the bath needed a shower mat, but housekeeping provided one as soon as it was mentioned.

The room was comfortable, clean and convenient, in a separate building to check in at the pub across the service road. The area is the main shopping centre for the 3 towns and the main road is very busy (though we didn't hear traffic as the insulation is good.Right next to two major supermarkets and convenient for all areas of Thanet.

The pub food was good and excellent service, but not quite to our taste if we had been there for holiday, and it was very busy. The breakfast was more than we wanted to pay, as we didn't want cooked, so we went across to Sainsbury's café.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All staff were great but I was most impressed with how smiley attentive and friendly the cleaning staff were. Thank you guys not only did you clean the rooms to a great standard your kindness and cheerful faces were also very much appreciated.

I don't think I saw anyone at reception more than once.
