Lovely hotel in a great location, our room was comfortable and had a good bathroom (we had come from staying in another hotel and i was so thankful to have a shower with some water power behind it!). The breakfast was lovely and the brasserie was clean when we ate there, we also liked the option of being able to upgrade from continental to full English breakfast. The reception and bar staff were friendly and helpful. Didn't get chance to use the gym or spa facilities but it looked clean and well equipped from what we saw.

I would have prefered to have a chiller unit for some of the breakfast items (such as yoghurts) as it was warm during our stay and we didn't know how long they had been out at room temperature.

The property was right opposite the promenade with limited parking at the back of the hotel. A little old fashioned but very clean.

There was a lift at the front of the reception are so handy for putting the baggage straight in and also a ladies & gents toilets with a really nice disabled toilet which was excellent being on the ground floor. Rooms were very clean and the air conditioner was very good. The continental Breakfast was as expected but a hot cold breakfast was also offered. There was plenty to eat and the staff were very friendly and respectful.

My friend jozee Tucker has stayed there few times she was happy with her room before but they change name from comfort inn to that new one she said the rooms were different design layout then before it was not for me for her to stay for my birthday last Sunday which we enjoyed together her weekend

She was not happy with the new room design lay out since they change names but every thing was ok from apart she will stay again there for Christmas weekend when she comes down again on 24 or 25 nov to see because iam local she’s lives in barking east london

My single room was satisfactory: the shower worked well, it was quiet and, on a hot day the aircon was extremely efficient. The continental breakfast was excellent: it really was continental (hand-carved ham and cheese were included) plus a decent granola and lots of yoghurt - this is not always the case, in my experience.

The room and furniture were a little tired; only one lift for four floors and the technology seemed a little dated. Be aware too that the hotel, though seafront, is by the East Cliff, so there's a little walk to the town centre: not a problem for me but if you're less ambulant that may be a consideration.

We had one of the recently refurbished rooms. Superb shower installation and equally good air conditioning unit. Comfy twin beds, as requested. Location excellent. Car parking in the Street no problem. Excellent continental breakfast, with outstanding home made muesli cereal full of fruit and nuts. As 3 star hotels go, this was a high standard one. We chose a non-sea view room because it was much cheaper.

3rd floor room, but lift made it no problem. Small car park always full, but again no problem, as there was always room on the street. Room entry card kept on getting demagnetised. In the end we carried two each so that at least one worked. No problem really, as the reception staff always gave us new cards. Just a nuisance. We suggest they maybe change their provider for a more reliable room entry system. Although breakfast was excellent, it finished a touch early at 9.30, which was a bit rushed for us if we slept in a bit. We suggest 10.00 finish would be much better. Sea view rooms were considerably more money, which was a shame, as we would have preferred a sea view. But these are relatively minor negative comments, and did not really spoil our stay. The plusses won the day!

Of the four hotels I stayed in, this room was by far the biggest. Also it had a wardrobe for hanging clothes and lovely bedroom furniture. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom commodious. A continental breakfast was included but it was a super-sized continental breakfast, beautifully laid out in the dining room. Gluten-free bread was also available.

The only down side was the location of the hotel from the harbour front. I had to drag my suitcase up a steep cliff in the dark. It was about a 30 minute walk from the harbour. On the way back (downhill not a problem) a gale was blowing and walking was hard going. Perhaps directions to catch a bus could be given by the hotel to other prospective guests.

We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor with a sea view, which was mesmerising. The room was freshly renovated and spacious. Good location, hotel has sauna and a gym. Sauna has 30 min in advance notice before you go.

We booked with 'breakfast included', however, only continental breakfast was available on the day we stayed, which wasn't communicated with us in advance.

This was my 3rd hotel in 8 days of being on business in this area. First place had a comically small bathroom, and was noisy, and the internet disconnected from my laptop after first use, never to work again. 2nd place had a good shower (but no bath), reasonable internet, and an expensive breakfast. This place had at least some from of inclusive breakfast (cooked breakfast was a mere 5.95), wonderful internet, bath in the bathroom, room was a good size too, gym & sauna, and A/C in the room. And an elevator too. The bar / restaurant area was lively and welcoming, which was a sight for sore eyes, after a week of snootiness that permeates this part of the world.

Somebody scratched my sports car in the parking lot. Likely due to the small spaces. Had to shrug my shoulders and sigh, oh well...

Room was clean and quite spacious and quiet, even though there was entertainment going on downstairs. Breakfast was good, plenty of variety too.

The curtains wouldn't draw properly because they wouldn't slide over the join in the curtain rail. I ended up joining them by using hair clips. Also, I couldn't have a bath because there was no plug. So, I had to settle for a shower.

Good choice of breakfast. The staff were polite and extremely helpful. High standard of cleanliness. Hotel is in a good location..

A slight problem with the parking facilities. There is a designated car park at the rear but the access to the hotel at the back is not ideal. It looks a bit rundown and might be a good idea to remove the step and make it a slope. Just a suggestion. .
