Two comfortable nights here. The room was pretty standard for this level of hotel which was absolutely fine. Although the room faced onto the busy A229 it was surprisingly quiet. Bathroom all good and the shower was easy to operate. Breakfast was as you'd expect, and with a reasonable range of options.

I tried the free WiFi but it appeared to work for about 5 seconds then dropped out and I couldn't get it to reconnect. Used 5G hotspot instead (O2 5G is reasonable at this location). There is a PodPoint EV charger with two outlets but neither were working which was disappointing. If you drive an EV and need a top up there's a GeniePoint 50kW CCS/Chademo/AC charge point at the 'Smugglers Retreat' across the road.

A last minute booking that went very well. The very friendly and helpful welcome, in the clean, well-ordered reception went very smoothly. The whole place was spotless. The well maintained bedroom , with its comfy bed, was equally as super clean. The view over the fields, out the back, were appreciated. The included breakfast was great and hit the right note and why we chose this hotel over others, so we were pleased that we weren't disappointed. All in all, a great stay at a good price. We will stay again.

We had a fab stay, Room clean and comfortable with good facilities, staff were extremely helpful & polite, nothing too much trouble kudos to them. Especially house keeping, Whole Hotel seemed clean and bright, nice bar area, & plenty seating for breakfast etc, Breakfast was good plenty of options, we didnt eat off the main menu so can't comment on that. We'd definitely stay here again 😁

Crossing over to the local shop/garage bit dangerous but nothing Hotel can do about that.

Everything was to our satisfaction and more. The staff were very friendly, the shower was amazing, the bed was so comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and more than adequate. The fact that the hotel caters for one to have a coffee and pastries as a takeaway, was an absolute bonus. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area, as the location to attractions, restaurants and the beach, was perfect.

A lovely welcome from the two ladies on reception, they got us booked in , explained all the procedures surrounding breakfast, etc. The room was lovely and clean, plenty of towels,toiletries, an iron and board. The bed was comfy for me , not so for my husband ,unfortunately. The breakfast was yummy 😋 scrambled eggs cooked to perfection , bacon and sausage, delicious. Would have liked some mushrooms and tomatoes, but what we had was fab. There were also cereals on offer with toast and pastries. Help yourself to coffee or tea, what a great start to the day. It doesn't look very up to date outside but don't let this put you off it's fabulous inside, very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here next time we're down to visit my daughter's family.

In overall we enjoyed the stay (for one night). Definitely would book it again. It was very nice that guests could make coffee to go at the breakfast time. Spacious parking, I had no issues to find a spot

We booked twin room so we expected to have two single beds, instead of that we have been placed in room with double bed and sofa bed which wasn't too bad as sofa was pretty comfortable too, it is quite rare.

We loved our stay. Staff were really accommodating and very friendly. The hotel looks/is clean and fresh. Great value for money. We all had a great nights sleep and enjoyed breakfast very much. We were able to store 3 bikes safely at the property also, which was really really helpful! We will definitely be back if we are in the area again.

There was no breakfast stated until 10 came down about 20 past and there was nothing!! But 2 croissants all dried up. No fruit juice nothing. And when some eggs finally came out and some beans…nothing else! Everybody got it. We was severly unsatisfied and wenpaid £78 for the room and breakfast or we would have stayed elsewhere. And wish we did

No food!

Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were exceptionally helpful in arranging an early check-in for me. Self service breakfast was an added bonus, forgot this was included in the room price. Overall an excellent one-night stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Parking was a tad difficult with some tight spaces, and I got back very late so it was more or less full, but a very minor complaint.

Staff were friendly and polite and rooms were comfy and breakfast was yummy.

Really like our stays at holiday inn hotels but alway find smoking around the entrance a real let down, I’m not a smoker so that’s not great for me anyway but the smell and sight of cigarettes is horrible. This hotel seemed to have a noticeable amount of smokers around the entrance for some reason!
