Everything! Last weekend was our second time staying here and was just as good as the first !! The hotel is stunning and faces the sea, beautifully decorated and the food exceptional. We all had breakfast each day which is included and the Sunday lunch . Huge portions and totally delicious. The Wastelands bar below is crazy, fun and had music on every night. We loved it and sank many of their famous g&t's there ! The bar staff were fabulous and even shared their Chinese takeaway with us one night ( prob to soak up the gin ! Lool ! ) For us, the staff truly made the stay brilliant. Easy going, so so friendly and we wanted for nothing during our stay . From Abi on reception, Imogen and all the waiters and waitresses , bar staff and cleaning team , they are all a real credit to the Albion Rooms and we really won't stay anywhere else when in Margate . Thank you so much again for our amazing stay and can't wait to come back !!! Xxx

Everything! Our suite was gorgeous, all of the staff super lovely (special mention for Murray in The Waste Land, nothing is too much trouble for him, we feel as though we made a friend!). Breakfast was amazing, everything cooked to order and delicious. So much care and thought went into the room, complimentary mini bar with water, fresh milk and beer, also fresh coffee and a cafetière. Excellent bathroom products. Just loved it and can’t wait to visit again xxx

Everything! As a Libertines fan of 20 years, I was already excited about staying their hotel, but nothing could have prepared me for how special it is. We loved the decor and the beer garden out the back is one of the best I've ever been in. I've come away with plenty of ideas to incorporate into the ongoing work on our home and garden! The staff both on front of house and in The Wasteland bar were amazing and could not have been more accommodating if they tried. I would especially like to thank Abbie for conspiring with my boyfriend in sorting a lovely birthday surprise for me in our room. We stayed in the Delaney which was clean, comfy, there were snacks and drinks in the room and the power shower and air conditioning were particularly brilliant given we were staying in the middle of an epic heatwave. No tv but as we spent every evening in the beer garden out the back we didn't need it! We also loved that being on the Eastern Esplanade, it is a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the main bit of town, overlooking a lovely beach and only a 10 minute walk from the refreshing Walpole Bay tidal pool, which was just perfect in the hot weather. Breakfast was incredible, as was the food and cocktails in the bar. Both vegan and gluten free options are available, which was peefect for us. Carl Barât's defying gravity cocktail was my drink of choice throughout our stay, which was topped off when the man himself just happened to pop in to the hotel on my actual birthday and we had the pleasure of having a little chat with him! Overall it's the best hotel I've ever stayed in!!!

Nothing. Everything was absolutely spot on.

The decor is beautiful and stylish in a dark and quirky way; the staff were all lovely (Abby looked after us when we arrived and for breakfast); the burgers in the Wasteland bar downstairs are great (I had the Cluck 'em chicken one), it was warm and sunny enough for us to sit outside in the rear garden to eat and drink in the evening; I found the bed comfortable; breakfast was delicious (we had the full English). If you aren't staying there because you know it's owned by The Libertines, it's still a wonderful place to stay! It's opposite the bandstand and steps down to the beach, and a pleasant walk into Margate town with the Turner gallery, main beach and some other nice places to eat and drink, including the LOVE Cafe.

We liked everything!

The perfect mini break, everything from arrival to leaving (we didn’t want to leave) was exceptional. Super friendly, warm and helpful staff, quirky and cool - the William Blake Suite was amazing, welcome bottle of Processco as it was my partners bday! The bed was so comfortable and a lovely balcony with seating area looking out to sea. The breakfast was superb, such a chilled vibe through and Sara was so lovely and helpful and even gave us a tour of the studio.

All the staff we met (day and night) were very accommodating and made our stay very special. Staff clearly love their job and take hospitality and the visitor experience very seriously Dog friendly hotel - our dog was spoilt rotten by the staff 😀 So many nice places in walking distance - clean beaches nearby Free on street parking Nice basement bar with external rear garden and seating at the front with great sea views

Nothing!! It was a perfect 2 nights stay - would have like to stay longer… We will be booking a return visit before the end of the year

room was clean and bed very comfortable. Cool decor. Nice drinks and snacks in the room and was a bonus having fresh milk for tea/coffee. Only issue was the noisy seagulls but hotel even provided earplugs and eye masks. Breakfast was delicious, yogurt and granola was lovely and lots of options for hot breakfast. staff all friendly and helpful. Free parking across the road from hotel

Being a huge Libertines fan, this hotel was a must for me! But besides that, the place is amazing! The decoratiin is beautiful and the room was very confortable and well-equipped. We also had a drink at the bar, on the outside terrace. The included breakfast was excellent and it was great that they offered several vegan options. We were glad our room was already available before the 3PM check-in

Nothing, the place is perfect!

The breakfast was good, although the eggs on the egg royale were somewhat hard. The bed was excellent and as we were treated to a room upgrade, so we got abalcony and excellent view. The chairs in the room were stylish and comfortable until i tried to get up again, which was fun as they are very low to the ground. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, I had a very good nights sleep, and would definately return, especially with the free parking directly outside.

I just feel that the whole black and gold theme was a little over done, A little light contrast on the stairs would be better, but hey what do i know.

Location is in an up and coming area of Margate - handy for Haekels spa and shopping there (we visited the spa and shop 3 days in a row !). Staff amazing especially Abby who really was exceptional - so friendly fun, knowledgable and generally the perfect host with most ! The breakfasts were outstanding - such fresh produce. Without doubt we will return

Margate is up and coming so sometimes the walk from the town to the hotel can feel a little bit edgy (too edgy) but taxis were easy to get when retuning form supper. Mini bar free but not re-filled after first evening which was a shame
