Location was great. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent shower. Good firm matress which is my personal preference. The staff managed the noise levels very well; I was initially concerned because our room was opposite the breakfast room, but actually noted the owners actively intervening to ensure conversations were not conducted outside of our room. Ear plugs provided if needed, in fact lots of little touches were provided during careful consideration of the guest perspective (e.g hair dryer, light up magnifying mirror, milk.) Useful app provided prior to check in with all necessary/ useful information. If we ever went back to Deal we would hope to stay here.

For me personally I didn't get a good night's sleep on the second night because of the pillows and because I could hear the guest in the room above. snoring. Nothing others could have done about that at all, ear plugs were provided but I personally can't sleep with them in. My husband slept like a log.

Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Specials of the Day as well as the usual breakfast offerings. Beautifully cooked and presented. Location is perfect for the centre of Deal and seafront. Clean and well decorated rooms. Lovely fresh linen. A mini bar in room and well stocked refreshment tray.

The only small downside is parking - but that is the fault of Deal not the B&B owner. Parking is available nearby but not outside the property.

We cycled the Cantii Way staying at many hotels. This was by far the most exceptional of our overnights. Safe storage for our expensive bikes. We had everything we could possible want in our rooms. A sewing kit came in handy as I tore my cycle shorts on brambles and was able to mend them. Lastly and by no means least an outstanding breakfast that beat all others. An array of mixed fruit and berry compote with homemade Greek yoghurt. Locally sourced apple juice, meats and of course cherries and other fruits. My eggs Benedict with spinach and bacon was beyond delicious. I wish every stay on our tour of Kent was as satisfying. If you’re cycling this picturesque, thrilling route be sure to book in here. You won’t be disappointed even if you chose the lazier mode of travel. Tuck in and enjoy it’s right at the heart of Deal. Excellent location to boot.

Nothing could have been better.

Very good breakfast with excellent choice. Comfortable room. Great large shower with all toiletries provided. Decor in breakfast room very good which included historical pictures and helpful leaflets. Good location with short walk into town.

Bathroom was small and heating via a small portable heater outside the room was not ideal. Unclean knife on breakfast table. Free parking was difficult to find, drove around local roads several times, eventually parked for free 5 mins walk away in very cold wet weather with luggage.

We stayed for one night, the property is nicely situated, everything is in easy walking distance and the beach at the end of the road. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and Susan was a great host. Next time we stay in Deal we will definitely stay at No1 B&B.

Parking as for everywhere in Deal is limited so be prepared for a little walk

Great location, very near to Deal castle, the promenade along the sea and the High Street. Very comfortable bed, many thoughtful touches in the room (from earplugs (not needed, it was very quiet) to cosmetic mirror) and an excellent freshly cooked breakfast with a great choice of dishes. Would have loved to stay longer.

What a relaxing B and B this was with a beautiful, well kitted out room, spotless modern bathroom, kind and caring host and splendid breakfast. Very peacerful, creative touches and attention to detail. Excellent play to stay and very easy walking distance to the town centre and the sea. Local produce at breakfast added to the experience.

We have no complaints about this stay and highly recommend it. Literally a few steps from the sea front which enabled a walk on the pier.

Cannot fault this B&B. Even from the point of booking, Susan was messaging with useful information including the on line guide book which had all the information needed, parking, entry, room contents etc. we stayed in the Deal room which was a perfect size, spotlessly clean and such thoughtful attention to detail. Tea, coffee, a little bowl for used tea bags and toiletries and a delicious selection of teas, coffees and biscuits. I particularly liked the make up cloth in dark grey so you don’t feel embarrassed to use it! The shower was great too. A handy suit case wrack and hanging space, robes and a beautiful blanket made the room comfy and cozy. A handy USB port was also available and freedom to move it around also made it more useful. The TV was a little small for the size of the room but we don’t go to watch T.V obviously. The breakfast was outstanding. My husband had the special on n the first day which was French toast with syrup and bacon and he’s still talking about it now. I had eggs royale on one day and Benedict on the next, both delicious, serving piping hot and cooked to perfection. There was so much choice. Susan was great at giving us hints and tips around Deal too so we had a fantastic stay. The b&b is also in a fantastic location. You need to manage the parking, but again, advice from Susan was clear, we followed, so had no issues . Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you so much.

nothing. loved it.
