From the warm and friendly welcome from Al & Phyl, to the beautiful house, immaculate bedroom and bathroom, light summer duvet and comfortable bed and pillows, peace of the surroundings, offer of a welcome drink, continental breakfast delivered to our door at precisely the time we requested, everything about our stay at Glebe House was amazing. Al and Phyl are fabulous hosts, they really couldn't do enough for you and they ensured our stay with them was a joy.

There was absolutely nothing not to like.

The continental breakfast was plentiful with choices of cereals, yoghurts, toast and spreads, warm croissants, drinks etc delivered to your room at your chosen time by wonderful hosts. The location was a great base for exploring the area and about a 10 minute walk from the sea and a coastal stroll into Deal is about 30 mins. We were warmly welcomed and had a nice glass of wine and beer offered on our arrival and we had a lot of great information about the area and what to see and do. Our family room for three was a good size and was comfortable and super clean with a nice size bathroom and everything you could need. The beds were very comfy and the sheets were so soft. Would recommend and definitely stay again if we are that way in the future.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at Glebe House - Phyl and Al are wonderful hosts so friendly, generous, helpful and knowledgeable. During our stay nothing was too much trouble meaning it really felt like home from home. The B&B is a delightful Georgian house very tastefully decorated with real character. Our room was spotless with very comfortable bed and lovely continental breakfast delivered to your room. Great location a few minutes walk from Walmer Castle and fantastic walks along the coast to Deal in one direction and Kingsdown in the other direction (then onto St Margaret's Bay if you are feeling energetic).

We couldn't fault a single thing - even the weather was perfect when we stayed!

Al and Phyl were excellent hosts. Very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble including drying our clothes when we got caught in a downpour. The location was perfect for us as we had a choice of walking into Deal town centre or catching the bus from the nearby bus stop. Deal has lots to offer, Walmer Castle and gardens was a treat and lovely walks along the coast. Local pub friendly with a good choice of pub grub.

The situation of the room with the clear views across the roof tops. Everything you could possibly want was provided in the room. The hosts are charming and friendly people.

Would have preferred a combination of continental/ English cooked breakfast. Continental breakfast is very limiting and wouldn't want it more than twice if staying longer somewhere. Much more scope with a cooked breakfast i.e more choices and combinations. However there was plenty in the amount we were given for breakfast. Also it's nice to have breakfast in your room for a couple of days but would prefer to sit in a dining room. Otherwise you can feel as though you are pushed out of sight.

A pleasant, family-owned Victorian detached house with immaculately clean, homely accommodation and a grand piano with an intriguing history in the first floor drawing room. There is on-site parking in the drive for cars. We cycled and were able to store our bikes securely in the back garden. Phyl and Al are great hosts and made us very welcome. As there is no breakfast room, a continental breakfast is served in the bedrooms, which saves needing to make small talk in the morning but does involve some juggling with folding table and chairs and breakfast trays. Some guests may miss a cooked breakfast, but the quality of cereals, toast and croissants is excellent and we felt well set up for the day. We look forward to visiting again.

As we were on a cycling break we would have liked a cooked breakfast but this wasn't a deal breaker as the continental breakfast was very nice.

Had a short break to visit Deal and Walmer Castle, and Glebe House was just right in all regards - it's within walking distance (25 minutes along the seafront) of the many eateries in Deal, and it's near both castles. The hosts are quite charming and we enjoyed talking to them, the room was very comfortable and well appointed, the continental breakfast was tasty, well presented and had everything we wanted.

No where in bathroom to put stuff like toiletries like shelf I did use the little mirror cupboard No where to put stuff until I discovered foldaway table

Al and Phyl were amazing hosts! They were so helpful with everything and making sure that our stay was as comfortable as can be. Everything in the room was perfect and cosy. The property is also only a short drive away from the Deal town centre or Dover. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone who wants to visit the east coast of the UK!

Thank you so much for such a lovely stay. I was able to check in early as I had a wedding the same day which helped me so much. The property was beautiful and immaculately kept. Great selection for breakfast which was served timely and in my bedroom which was lovely. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! If I find myself in town ever again, I know where to go!
