Keith and Bevan are superb hosts. Very welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. The accommodation is beautifully decorated. Having a sitting/dinning area is a bonus. The patio is also very nice for a meal al fresco or a drink if the weather is nice. Breakfast is delicious with something different every morning. Juice, yoghurt, homemade jams and fruit compotes, bread and pastries (we had muffins, crumpets and pancakes). Muesli, granola and eggs which can be boiled using the egg boiler provided if you want to add a savoury item are also on offer. Plenty of milk, coffee/teas and sweet treats which make a delicious afternoon snack. A great place to relax and unwind.

Everything! The owners were incredibly friendly and laid on fantastic, homemade breakfasts. The bonus of a living space as well as a bedroom made this a place we look forward to returning to. The furnishings and decor had an understated quality with thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers and an egg boiler.
Our stay was impossible to fault. However, some may find the WIFi a little patchy in certain rooms.

Bryn Teg Barn is in a wonderful location with stunning views. There are numerous things to do nearby whether it be walking in the hills, going to the beach or eating out. The barn itself was spotless and Keith and Bethan had already got the fire going for us when we checked in. They were tremendous hosts, made sure we had everything we needed and couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Breakfast was really nice with fresh local ingredients from their farm. It was the perfect start to the day.

All the reviews I read before booking the place were spot on! A lovely place in the fields from where you can see the sea! Plenty of hiking options in the area. Lovely hosts who will bring you homemade breakfast every morning and keep the place warm thanks to the woodburner in the main living area. They will also prepare a lovely dinner if you let them know in advance. We will be back! :)

The fact this was a repeat stay at Bryn Teg Barn demonstrates just how fabulous this annex and its hosts, Bethan & Keith are. The annex itself is just perfect; rustic, cosy (a log fire!) & spacious with all the amenities one needs. But in addition to that breakfasts are superb and for a little extra Bethan will cook a wonderful meal. Bethan and Keith are so very helpful and just all round lovely people. They gave me lots of tips regarding where I could get some stunning images (I’m a fine art photographer). And let’s not forget those jaw dropping views out over the Lyn peninsula. All in all I heartily recommend Bryn Teg Barn…thanks for a wonderful stay and until next time. 😊

The area that Bryn Teg is set in is absolutely beautiful. There are table and chairs on the deck outside the property so that you can enjoy breakfast looking across the land and down to the sea (backed by mountains on the right hand side). It was stunning although too cold for us to do that when we stayed. The property itself is lovely. It is eco-friendly with 8 inches of wool in the roof and walls and lime plaster on the internal walls. It was extremely well kept, comfortable and really cosy with the wood burner (which they kindly lit for us each evening before our return). The breakfast was amazing - homemade yoghurt, jams, bread, granola and more. Probably the best breakfast I've ever had anywhere I have stayed to be honest! Bethan and Keith are so friendly and accommodating, such lovely lovely people. We didn't order an evening meal from them but judging from the breakfast it would have been amazing. We will definitely be coming back - the area has so very much to offer we really only scratched the surface during our trip and we will probably try to bring our bikes with us as there are great trails all over the place. It is worth noting that there is only a very small convenience store in the village and nothing else. If you are semi-self catering, bring food with you to store in the fridge or purchase lunch at very reasonable prices and any other bits from nearby towns.

Beautiful designed property with plenty of space. Tasty breakfast and plenty of wood to keep warm. Hosts light fire every afternoon so it’s nice and warm when you return from a day out. Very private and and quiet.
There is only one thing that I think could improve an already great stay and that is a microwave to warm soup etc if you fancy a lazy day inside.

Everything! It was our second time at Bryn Teg Barn, we spent a week in July and fallen in love. We particularly liked a peaceful location, with beautiful views and sunsets. The barn is cosy, clean and comfy, with the wood burner which was a bonus. Bethan and Keith are great hosts, nothing is too much to ask. I can highly recommend the place, it has a great vibe, we definitely will be back!

Amazing scenery in and around the barn itself. Short drive to Barmouth, Harlech, Beddgelert and Porthmadog. Barn is clean and friendly vibes. Keith and Bethan (hosts) are kind and went out of their way to ensure my dietary requirements are met. Their cooking is great - I suggest the salmon! As this was our honeymoon, we needed to get it ‘right’ - and we did!

The accommodation was excellent. Warm fire waiting for us making the room nice and cosy. Even the rain didn't spoiled the beautiful views. Our hostess was very welcoming and friendly, attentive without being intrusive. Good, varied choice of breakfast, with home baked bread (still dreaming about it) and jams. I am just sorry we didn't try your dinner menu. Good choice of games and books, so there is no need to be bored. Thank you
Even though you don't offer cooked breakfast, there could be an offer of some bacon rashes ( maybe just mentioning it as BTW). There wasn't anything we didn't like, unless you can do magic and present people with beautiful, sunny day. :)
