Received a very warm welcome on arrival. I was able to park off road right outside. My room was a good size and had an excellent ensuite. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was served in a lovely room, where guests sat at a large table which seated eight. There was a 'lazy susan' (dumbwaiter) with cereals, fruit, milk, etc on it. My cooked breakfast was lovely too. I enjoyed talking to people that were staying there and to the owner. I walked into the town centre, which wasn't far but buses are another option. I very much enjoyed my short stay at the Bay Tree House and would thoroughly recommend it. Hopefully may return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

Breakfasts were fit for a King & Queen! - Room and Bathroom were both spotless - Comfortable bed, Coffee and tea facilities were a welcome addition! Even an iron and ironing board plus a hairdryer were available too!!

THE BEDSIDE TABLE proved to be a tad difficult but only if you happened to open both drawers at the same time. When my wife did so (twice!) the whole unit tilted over and collapsed forward to send the table lamp etc; to the floor!! - Good job we didn't have tea or coffee on it at the time it occurred! May need attention!

The Bay Tree House is like a home from home. The rooms are immaculately furnished and clean. Gary provides you with a friendly welcome and takes your breakfast order. The breakfast itself is excellent - whatever you want, it's there. Gary is around for some great breakfast chat too. A little tip - the parking on the street that the Bay Tree is on, is free and unlimited at the weekends from 4.30pm on Fri until 8.30am on Monday.

I had a large comfortable bedroom at the front of the house on the first floor. Everything was clean and there was tea, coffee, a bottle of water, plenty of electric sockets, everything you could wish for. The en-suite bathroom seemed new. Gary was a welcoming and attentive host. Restaurants in town are only a 10-15 min walk away. The breakfast was excellent.

The lavatory plumbing needed a little persistence.

The bed was very comfortable, the TV was able to access iplayer, YouTube and Netflix. The breakfast was amazing and Gary was lovely.

I didn't really like looking at dog poop while I was eating my breakfast and I did freak out a bit when I arrived (in dayight) and saw several rats running around the garden next to the lodge and the kitchen where we would eat breakfast.

Comfortable, light, clean and quiet. Tastefully decorated throughout and great to have the en suite in my single room. The breakfast was delicious and a nice idea to have one large circular table which meant people actually spoke to each other. It was an easy 10-15 min walk into town.

I was lucky with parking as just 3 places outside and reversing out was tricky but the roads around house had unrestricted space. I was on the top floor so a bit of a climb with bags but not too bad as the host carried my bags up! Biscuits with the tea/coffee would have been gratefully received.

The welcome was like going home to family. Breakfast was fantastic and lovely company and chats with other guests. Everything is immaculate. When I arrived Gary let me use his phone as I came from overseas and had no functioning well phone. I needed to go greet my sister and he kindly drove me to see her. So very kind.

I cannot think of anything that needed any improvement.

The host was extremely friendly and hospitable and went to lengths to make us welcome. There were nice little extras and modern layout which was very attractive. The breakfast was perfect and adjustments made willingly. The location suited us well and food outlets were close by. Our room was comfortable and well designed.

We are happy with no complaints.

Whenever I travel to Dorset, this is my go-to place to stay. My room was spacious and clean. The owners are very welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. The cooked breakfast was, as always, excellent.

Nothing really. After nearly ten years, it's still one of the best values in Dorchester.

Breakfast was excellent couldn't have ask for more, Gary was an excellent host. Room and bathroom was large and of high quality, left nothing more to be desired.

TV reception was glitchy and sometimes not at all. For me not such a problem don't watch much TV. Internet wifi was poor and incredibly slow, used my phone as a hotspot.
