The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our custom made cooked breakfasts and any niggles about the room itself were soon forgotten. The food in the pub was so good that we ate there every day rather than finding food elsewhere - a definite bonus with a young child! The shower was efficent and the bedroom was bigger than anticipated.

The beds had maybe seen better days, or maybe were on the cheaper side as I wasn't overly comfortable. There was evidence of damp and a small patch of black mould on the wall next to my bed and pink/orange residue in the shower coving... had I stayed more than two nights I may have shared my concerns with management as these are both potential health issues.

Great host Were welcomed well by the host. Great personality.very nice gentleman. Fantastic atmosphere in the hotel. Great food very well cooked by the chef. Absolutely delicious! Thanks again. Only problem I had was with the rudeness by one or two local regulars!!! Friendly but beware!!! Scarecrow man ,The card man has No manners at all!!! So enjoy this great place to stay. But avoid card man!! He has No sense of humour nor does this individual poses any upbringing.. Thanks again to all the many people I meet for making this a truly amazing experience to remember..

Read about or edit as you wish. But some people who live in the local area and frequently your hotel. Need a lesson in manners! Also the guest visiting doesn’t need a wake up call!!!

Everything....Chris, the Barman was great the first night, lots of laughs, then we met Albie at Breakfast, what a lovely fella, he served us a beautiful vegetarian breakfast...we had some laughs and he helped me with some advice with my luggage, (seriously helped me big time)... Then we met Deb, Albie's wife, what a lovely lady, also a quick meeting with Scott.... Such a lovely clean, cute and delightful room, the pub itself is Beautiful, the menu is amazing, especially for vegetarians....We had such a delightful stay, Highly recommend a stay here💕🇦🇺🇬🇧💕 love Trudy and Jean from Australia

location was ideal for us to visit the dorchester county show. room and bathroom clean and comfortable, with plenty of towels. toiletries supplied. breakfast was included, gluten free and dairy free options were were not a problem. when I didn't make breakfast a kind member of staff unexpectedly offered my husband to make a bacon sandwich for me. a really kind gesture! All the staff were really helpful throughout our stay.

The mattress could have been a little more comfortable and the bed was very springy.

The staff were wonderful, polite, professional, friendly, sorry, I can't remember young lady's name that checked me in, & served my dinner, but Albert was a star, had my heating seen to as it wasn't working, & served my most excellent breakfast. The food was excellent and I would definitely recommend it.

My room ( number 1 a twin ) was very clean but tatty & tired, it needs attention No headboard on the one bed the other was loose & rattled l put pillow behind it, simple to fix, had to slide mirror above desser over to use sockets, shower ceiling paint pealing, like l say with a few little touches, paint old pine furniture, new curtains a contemporary look, it would be perfect I would still recommend your hotel, l had a good stay, l will definitely come again.l only had 1 night, but I hope to stay longer next time. Thanks again to you, & your wonderful staff.

Overall we were very happy with our booking - accommodation and breakfast all very good

It was slightly disappointing that, through no fault of the hotel, we could not park in the designated car park due to another guest parking slightly over the line(s) - a repainting of the lines might be helpful albeit even then some people are just thoughtless! To be fair there was nearby street parking a short walk away and which we were able to use on this occasion.

Loved the fact our room was on the ground floor and we could park the car right next to our room. Catered for Vegan breakfast which was lovely and very prompt and friendly service. Room was clean, but not immaculate bed very comfortable got a great night's sleep, apart from someone in the next room or above vomiting for hours at 4am. Location was perfect right in the town next to all the shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay even though we only stayed one night.

Could have done with a fridge in the room. People smoking outside not far from our room. Bar could have been more lively at night we had to go elsewhere to hear some music and get a better vibe. But overall not really much to complain about.

Breakfast was lovely the staff were really happy friendly and helpful all my group are planning to stay again we didn't even have to go elsewhere for our evening meal which was absolutely delicious and the staff could not do enough for us I will Recommend the junction hotel to everyone.

There was nothing that I didn't like the staff worked extremely hard to make sure we had everything we needed

The room was lovely with a very nice bathroom and very clean and quiet which was good as there was an important football match on but we didn't hear anything when we were in our room. We had a small meal with a bottle of wine in the dining area in the evening which was excellent with no noise from the football crowd. The breakfast was very good with a choice of several different foods. We had orange juice, tea and coffee, museli and toast all very nice. The location was very convenient for us as we had to go to Weymouth twice and it was very convenient for this.

There wasn't any parking when we got back in the evening as the car park was very small and full up so had to park in a public car park close to the hotel which was free of charge. This wasn't a problem and the car was safe when we collected it.

We had an extra guest being my step daughter and the receptionist gave us a bigger room so we had space to put her bed. This helped us a lot as the other room would have potentially been cramped

We couldn't find how to close the curtains/blinds in the room and as they were sky lights we were all up a little earlier than planned
