As a solo traveller it can be hard to find cheap hotels that cater for someone by themselves. I was happy to have a small room with a single bed as that is all I needed. Bonus was that this room had a beautiful view of the beach! The shower was good and whilst the bathroom was small it was fine for what I needed. The room still had all the amenities you would expect from a hotel with a kettle and small tv and desk space too. Location was perfect on the beach and close to some nice local fish and chip restaurants and only a 15 min walk or so to the main station

Staff weren't particularly helpful, just doing the basics of the job. Didn't bother me too much as I just needed my key but don't expect to get anything more than just that. They don't even offer luggage storage which felt like they just didn't want to do it and not that they didn't have the space for it. The bar was "under maintenance" but I also felt like they just didn't want to pay for someone to staff it. Bed was an old spring style mattress. Wasn't the worst bed I've ever slept on and I didn't struggle to get to sleep but don't expect a luxury hotel bed.

Large comfortable room and bed, great location near shops and restaurants as well as the seafront, excellent value for money. Nice large TV which I could easily plug my Apple TV into. I’ve stayed here before last year and it’s nicer than I remember.

So although the hotel lacks a few facilities, for example no left luggage and no breakfast, also generally speaking it has an early checkout time, all these tbh aren’t much of an issue as it was clear beforehand plus if it keeps the price low, I don’t mind at all as I often travel light and prefer to have breakfast at one of many excellent cafes and restaurants in Eastbourne. Unfortunately the Wifi wasn’t working for the whole duration which was a bit annoying (I did spot engineers outside looking into the issue) but luckily I had decent download and upload speeds on my Three mobile and plenty of data. Also the power sockets are far from the bed, be sure to bring a long cable if you must.

Location was fantastic, one of our rooms had a sea view which was great for looking out whilst having a cup of tea in the mornings, and catching some of the air show if we went back for any reason, rooms were sufficient, beds were comfy and it was quiet at night which meant we got some much needed rest and sleep, staff were friendly.

The showers could have been a little better, they were not very powerful and they leaked/needed descaling, the lift was out of service which would have been useful as our rooms were on second floor. Wi-fi wasn’t working which wasn’t a major issue for us for a couple of days but would have been handy.

Location and balcony the bed was super comfortable

Couldn't get in the room until 3, no one on site to answer the door bell or to answer the phone, phoned constantly, couldn't leave the cases anywhere. We did know it was 3 but arrived early with 4 year old and had to park one mile away as there was no parking anywhere, and really could have done with dropping off the luggage. The bar was closed The WiFi wasn't working. Room was a deluxe double the bathroom was tiny , the shower door couldn't be closed as it was too small ...would not recommend for a large person... I did tell the hotel all of this in an email and asked someone to call me , but that didn't happen

There is no breakfast served in the hotel, but you can walk around and you will find many options. The internet was great and very useful, as I had meetings and this was actually the reason I choose this hotel and I cancelled other booking done previously with another hotel, where there were bad reviews for the internet. I also had a room with sea views which was great. A bit noisy because of the outside traffic, during the day, but quiet during the night.

It was all good, however there is no option to store your luggage before and after you check in and out.

Ideal location on seafront for the Airshow. Close to Devonshire Park for the tennis. Close to restaurants and convenience store just around the corner. Room basic but adequate for needs.

Downside there was no Wi-Fi which was advertised as being available and free and no hairdryer. Room not serviced during 3 day stay not a major problem for us but some guests might expect it, especially with regard to the room price.

There was no breakfast included. So it would be useful to make bad and breakfast. The stuff is very friendly. All is easy to access..

I didn’t like that there is no service to leave your luggage after check up from the hotels usually all the hotels got that service. So was quite disappointed to go to the beach next day with luggage.So you need to pay 3.5 per hour just to leave the luggage. I would be defenitely come back to the hotel, if there is a breakfast provided and you can leave the luggage. Otherwise. Even though the room was clean and good I would prefer to check something else on the market.

Seafront so good views from my room which was spotless and comfortable. Good wifi in room. Good selection of restaurants and cafes in next street. Nice walking along front to pier etc or town centre. Hotel room only. Tea and coffee with kettle in room. Very clean throughout. Very good price. Helpful staff and smiles!

No lift but my case was carried up to my room for me.

I liked everything. Lovely big room and big bed. Shower was good. Great location near all amenities pubs shops etc. They accommodated my request for a room on the ground floor which was great as I'm no Spring chicken. It was clean with tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. I'm returning on Wednesday 6th for three nights.

The location is great for both seafront & town centre. The building is well maintained & rooms are very clean and comfortable. My single room was spacious, had a larger than standard single bed & a well presented en suite.

There are no bar or restaurant facilities which doesn’t bother me but may put off some people.
