I thank them for the support I received from the cleaning staff and the digital receptionist during my stay and for helping my luggage for extra hours when I checked out/before checking in.

1- I checked in twice and on the first day of each stay the housekeeping missed to tidy up my room and had to remind the receptionst. 2- There were road constructions and therefore blockage, which caused me massive inconvenience regarding the taxi booking; I had to carry my heavy suitcases with me in the street until I find a good place for taxi pickup location. 3- They sent me a discount code, which did not work for rebooking and I did not receive their on time support to solve this issue (only when I finished rebooking!).

The location of No6 West Coates is absolutely amazing a short bus ride into the City and to the Zoo with bus stops just outside. The room was a great size for me and my two boys (10 & 8), plenty of storage and a great shower with two different height shower heads. A lovely touch leaving Haribo for the children, they loved that. Great to have a lovely coffee each morning from the coffee machine in the room. Beds comfy. Off site parking was a short walk and only by pure luck we got a space. Although I didn't see any staff they kept in contact via the Booking.com app and were quick to answer questions. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Travelling with children it's always helpful to be able to leave a light on in the bathroom to assist with night time toilet visits. Unfortunately we were unable to do this as the fan was not isolated from the light and was too noisy to leave on so ended up having to leave a main light on. Due to double red lines on the road outside it's now not possible to drive up to the hotel at all, which is a shame as you can't unload before parking.

It was even better than the pictures. Our room had a very nice feel to it, vintage and comfortable and, because it was on the ground floor, it was also close to the fridge and the common room. The common room had a very nice view, it was cozy and clean and big enough to share with other guests with no problem. The location was also good, it took us about 15 minutes on foot to reach the centre and it was a quiet part of the city as well [also the buildings nearby were amazing]. There was also a bus stop right in front of the house, so we could go to the centre or the airport easily. It was also very good value for money, especially since we went in February. We absolutely loved the place and we would definitely like to come back! :)

Just minor things. There weren’t bowls or larger cups so that we could have a larger variety of food, since we didn’t eat out much. Some guests took the cutlery to their room, so sometimes there weren’t forks/spoons available, but that’s not the property’s fault. I would just add some slippers and maybe a mini-fridge, especially for the top-floor rooms, if they don’t have one. Also, in one week we couldn’t figure out where the switch for the common room lights was 😂

The bed was a little bit hard Some of the furniture was slightly out dated One of the bulbs was not working but there was plenty of light emitted from the other bulbs so this did not matter

This is an ideal location, especially if you are attending Murrayfield for Concerts or Rugby, a 5 minute walk. It was easy to get from Waverly Railway station, take the tram to Haymarket, then walk for 5-10 minutes. It was a 'quirky' hotel and the check in and key pick up was all automated, a code to enter the door so there was a distinct lack of staff but not a major issue, just not what we are used to. To quote 'The Boss' I prefer a 'little human touch'.

Although complementary, the breakfast of cereal and pastry was a bit spartan. The shower had 2 settings, scalding or off so took a fair bit of negotiating.

Easy access to Haymarket (10 min walk or by bus) and Waverley is also not too far away by tram or bus. The room was clean, we didn’t use the kitchen, but there was some milk and a coffee machine. It was quiet. I would describe this accommodation to a nice flat in a residential area. The check in/out is automatic, the key comes out of the small metal drawer once you key in your PIN. into the key safe. We didn’t get an email with the Pin, but phoned the given number and the person sorted it for us remotely- the drawer opened :)

I would have liked to have a bit warmer bed covers on single beds. The cover was thicker on a double bed.

The location is amazing, peaceful but close to the center. There are old houses everywhere and birds singing. You get the feeling you are in a movie set. I liked the room was spacious enough and the bed comfortable with nicer pillows than others'. I like the preserved architecture. The yard is nice also. We had some little treats for breakfast as a gift. Good wi-fi.

The old windows need attention, in the bathroom the top one was sliding down and it was drafty. The dusting could be done better and under the bed too. The door handles where loose and inconvenient to the hands. Little more attention to the cleaning and repairing should do the trick.

The room was unexpectedly spacious. It was clean and warm. The location of the hotel is also nice, close to city centre

It was pretty difficult to enter the hotel and our room, as we didn't have a local SIM card with the internet. And there wasn't any personel at the hotel to assist.

Great location for the stadium and easy walk to the New and Old town. Easy transport from airport and smooth check in and out process. Spacious room, basic breakfast but has all you need. Very comfortable stay.

The seal at the bottom of the shower screen was missing so had to block with a towel to stop the bathroom flooding. Would only be a quick fix for future guests and to protect the bathroom.
