Location of the property, its quirkiness. Staff were all exceptionally polite and helpful. Breakfast was superb, plenty of choice. We had 3 evening meals there, I asked if I could change steak for chicken in one of the choices and it was no problem at all. We were offered cakes for our journey home on on our last day. Room was large, comfortable, light and airy. We were made to feel welcome and special the whole time.

Maybe a better hairdryer in the room, it was a travel one and was rather temperamental. Also parking is a lottery, the car park does not have enough spaces for all guests, there are options on the side of road for limited periods and a pay and display half a mile or so away, I think they are trying to secure more spaces in the old barclays bank site next door.

Great service, friendly staff. Fabulous food - breakfast choice is amazing and the dinner menu was varied (and what we had was delicious. Our room was very comfortable, very quiet, huge shower room, quality toiletries. Lilies in the bedroom were a nice touch, as were the heart biscuits. All in all it was super. We even managed to get a parking spot in the car-park on our 2nd night (result :-)) Bonus for us was no dogs were allowed indoors. Believe it or not, not everyone likes dogs!

Where to begin, i was at a wedding down at Voewood, so from a location stand point - this was ideal. Then the fun really started; The staff were incredible, offering an early check-in (so I could suit up) & even upgrading the room without additional charge. The rooms are spacious & airy, & the breakfast Hash will fill you up for weeks! There was even a complimentary tea & cake - which just shows the care & attention.

There is nothing i can think of, other than that I wasn't able to stay another night!

Rooms: Classical music playing in the room on arrival; fresh lillies fragrancing the bathroom and public toilets; quality bathroom furniture; windows able to be fully opened; bottled water, fresh milk and tea and coffee and biscuits; apples outside the room. Breakfast: limitless selection of breakfast options – from avocado and smoked salmon, to full English, healthy options, kedgeree, kippers, scones and chicken and falafel sandwiches. Large selection of quality teas and coffees and types of milk. Other: Nice touches, such as a voucher for a tea / coffee and homemade tea / coffee and a bag of jelly babies on departure.

Rooms were a bit warm from the sun. Struggling for negatives, but some noise from the car park (but not excessive) and toiletries containing chemicals. Wholemeal and artisan bread options would have been welcome.

Everything. Congrats to all - staff, owner and architect that tasefully designed the room accommodation and selected furnishing throughout building.

Car park outlook and early morning rubish collection plis bright (street/security) light in car park at rear left on all night that which curtains did not manage to block. Would also have welcomed a couple of grab bars in shower/bathroom area for us oldies and the sport injury impaired. But hey, one can never have everything!

Great location in the middle of Holt. Large comfortable room. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Parking was an issue as not enough parking bays for number of rooms. Very low water pressure at times (seemingly a problem for all of Holt) to the point that it was non existent. It did come back on after about 10 minutes but in the middle of showering it was annoying.

I really can’t fault the place. Breakfast was top notch, the waiters, front of house, or anyone else that I encountered we extremely professional and polite. I was very impressed. The room was gorgeous, it was evident that a lot of thought had gone into them. Huge attention to detail, a fan in the room, fresh biscuits on arrival, even matches in the bathroom! I’ve stayed in lots of hotels and I’m observant as I like the idea of buying a hotel myself. I would say that this is one of the best experiences I’ve had as a staycation.

lack of parking but this is to be expected in this location.

First time I've stayed, but we have been for lunch many times over the years. It is one of those buildings that we now know where it's residents parking, reception etc. is. So next time not through the main area with overnight bags. Room and ensuite are luxurious with a rainfall shower etc. Great breakfast with never ending coffee. Also voucher for 2 X drinks and cakes.

For me I now know not to stay in the attic rooms as I am a few inches over 6ft. Other than that nothing. Hold that my wife had the last croissant. ☹️

Room and facilities large but a full price paid No air conditioning..... Breakfast and Dinner both as expected excellent value. Situated in centre of Holt and within easy car distance of various places of interest eg Sandringham, Cromer, Wells-next-to-the-Sea

Room was at top of building which is old and roof rafters sloping in.....mind your head

very clean comfortable and excellent bathroom facility shower & bath etc. Towel change vg. modern TV system. refreshments & flowers excellent.

Perhaps more drawer & wardrobe space for longer stays. We moved from room 11 to 4 for an extra night. Sleep interupted in 4 from constant fan noise - kitchen?
