Facilities were lovely, there were some childrens floats and noddles provided in the pool when we arrived. The soft play was well tended to, clean and the staff were very friendly. We were able to order from the restaurant in the evening and eat in the soft play allowing our 2yo to enjoy it and allowing for a stress free dining experience. Our breakfast was delicious, 5 star dining. The rooms were clean and large. Pillows comfortable and bedding very good quality.

There was a broken panel under the sink in the bathroom, my 10month old had just learned to crawl and was at a dangerous height for her. It was loose and hanging off. The TV in the children's bed area did not work.

Very clean, lovely setting, easy to find, welcoming. Restaurant was great, food was lovely, friendly staff who were accommodating. Leisure facilities are fantastic, the refurb has been money well spent.

The room I booked was a “Standard Family Room” however there is no possible chance that my kids were fitting comfortably on that sofa bed! My son is almost 12yrs old and my daughter is almost 8 and they did not sleep due to being so uncomfortable, my son fell out the sofa bed twice during the night, once banging his head! I appreciate it was a Standard Family room but I originally booked for a Superior Family room on the 23rd December, but had to cancel due to other commitments, which was going to cost me £48 cheaper and would have at least had bunk beds!! Rethink your pricing and majorly rethink what you deem a “family of 4” to look like because it is not always 2 adults and 2 toddlers!! If you say an adult is anything up to age 12 then appreciate the size of 12yr olds these days!!!

Everything! Took my mum away for a night for her birthday and it was amazing! The room, facilities and service was 10/10! Special mention to Viv on reception who is an absolute delight and a credit to the hotel! The meal at dinner was exceptional and the breakfast buffet absolutely top notch!

My only grumble would be that there was not a full drinks menu at dinner so we ordered cocktails (as this was the drinks menu) but after going through to the bar, seen what was available and had a few beers!

Food was delicious. Breakfast if ordered via room service was a different menu than when in the restaurant, where we offered buffet only. Room service breakfast was far superior. Pool and jacuzzi were lovely.

Breakfast in restaurant the 2nd morning being buffet only - menu from room service on our first day was much better and food absolutely delicious. We were looking forward to the same standard but in the rest the next Korbut we’re disappointed not to be presented with a menu.

All the facilities like gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, children soft play very thoughtful 👏🏽. Feels like abroad. Love it and would be back. Most of the staffs were so nice particularly Andrew in the gym area. Nice guy! And Sandra the receptionist was very friendly

However the room was not to my expectations it was just okay compare to similar hotels with similar price and the breakfast was too cold. Coffee was cold too. It would be better if there is self service coffee.

The facilities were excellent. From the spa to the soft play for the kids. The pool, sauna etc were all good. The food was really nice from the breakfast meal to the dinner meal.

The bar is quite expensive. There doesn't seem to be anywhere for staff to hold meetings and they are eating in the bar area or restaurant. Not sure who was managing or running day to day. Looked like reception manager into help clear tables in the restaurant. Only one person serving behind the bar as well.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were big and clean. Shower was modern and plenty of hot water. Leisure facilities were excellent (pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, gym) Breakfast was plentyfull.(appreciated that Rosie our waitress remembered what we liked) Food in the restaurant was nice and the cocktails we had were very nice

Breakfast lacked vegetables. (I would have liked mushrooms and there was only tomatoes some of the days) The rooms were quite far away from the facilities within the hotel. Bed was quite hard We did a few walks from the hotel, although the hotel is out in the countryside you have to do a good bit of walking on roads to get to footpaths. We had to ask for robes, they weren't provided in our room. Drinks were expensive.

The hotel was presented beautifully, the decor and cleanliness were faultless. The staff were so attentive and friendly, especially Amy in the restaurant who was new but you'd never have known, and the wonderful Viv at reception who kindly vacuumed our room at 11pm when we accidentally knocked over a glass. When we couldn't get a taxi in to Howwood Viv went above and beyond and drove us in herself at the end of her shift, she is a credit to Bowfield! We were celebrating an anniversary and in our room was a beautiful plate of cakes and chocolate wishing us a Happy Anniversary. The breakfasts and dinner were incredible, credit to the chef, we will definitely be back.

We were a little disappointed to find that we had to have booked a treatment in the Aura centre to be able to use the outdoor hottub. We feel it wasn't clearly advertised and at booking it seemed we'd have access as staying guests. The lady at the Aura reception was a little blunt and rude when we enquired. The room was also a little warm at night and the WiFi didn't reach very well, although we were the last room at the end of the corridor.

Staff were very friendly and spa was great. Breakfast was tasty. Barbara in reception gave me her make up mirror as there was no magnifying mirror in bathroom.

Room could have had extras like toiletries, magnifying mirror, tissues. Shower soaked the floor and was difficult to regulate. Meal in restaurant could have been tastier. Continental breakfast a bit sparse.

I liked a lot of things about our stay! the staff were so accommodating and I have to give a special thank you for placing the balloons I brought for my boyfriends birthday (reason for our stay) so lovely in our room as we checked in! I brought them up earlier in the morning and they were so helpful for my request! the facilities were a breath of fresh air and just what we both needed for a break away from our stressful jobs! The restaurant was amazing & the service was so quick, same goes for the bar as it was a lovely peaceful/cosy atmosphere to enjoy a drink after dinner. Thank you we will definitely be back to test some of the spa treatments!
