Fabulous place to stay! Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room was a good size, with a really comfy bed and good shower. The meals and breakfast were delicious and great choice! Good location for getting around the local area. Please, please give this lovely hotel a chance!

One small thing was that the bedside lamp did not work, possibly just a bulb gone or switch not working. Not a big deal but a little inconvenient and I missed a softer lighting aspect rather than a ceiling light.

The hotel had been upgraded since my last visit. The location of the bar being moved allowing for what seems to be more space. The room was lovely and warm on my arrival. The shower was excellent, I will stay here again.

Early breakfast would have been the icing on the cake but I do understand that it's not always possible. I did receive a pack lunch which did the job and was probably more healthy for me.

Fantastic little hotel with very friendly staff. The food is amazing and served with a smile. The room was small but had everything needed for a few nights stay. The shower was perfect, very powerful and easy to use. Also there was plenty of tea/coffee and milk left. Usually most places only leave enough for a couple of drinks. The hotel is also very central in Inverbervie, so it's perfect for walks along the coast. I would definitely come back again if in this area. Well done to the new owners. 🙂

This hotel just needs a few little tweaks to make it a 10 out of 10 for me. The shower could do with a shelf for placing your products on, and a mat to step onto after showering. Also, and I find this a lot when staying in hotels/b&b's, the remote control was filthy, so much so that I cleaned it myself. Also it would be helpful to have some info in the room as to when breakfast is served, wifi code and instructions on how to get the tv guide up. Luckily I found it by accident whilst I was cleaning the remote! 😀.

The room and the bed was very comfortable. We came back to the room from friends very late and there was no issue getting in and to our room

We were told we could have breakfast at 9:00 before we travelled home again. In the morning we went down at 9 and the cafe was closed and we were told it doesn’t open until 10. We didn’t want to wait an hour so we left without breakfast. This made the room more expensive than we’d like but we have learned a lesson

For a small Inn / Hotel in a small town the Crown is excellent. The room was clean & of a decent size. The location was about as good as you get in Inverbervie. Breakfast was very good on both mornings. Evening meals -- what can I say other than SUPERB -- we had the Sirloin both evenings (once wasn't enough) - I can honestly say we've never had better (we both agree). Price was a bit high, but well within reason for the quality !

Continous noise from extractor fans outside the window of our room (6), & on Sat night loud music & laughter from what must have been the staff in the kitchen / outside area below our room.

Good location for a night stay, silent and cosy room, newly renovated very clean bathroom.

The communication of the host was quite fair. There was no information about the wifi, we couldnt use. Breakfast was included, but there was no information about it on site, the restaurant was closed at 8:45, we couldnt find the host, so left without breakfast.

Easy location in middle of village, very easy car parking in the market square, room very nice , Bed comfortable, tea making facilities but no spoon but never mind a pen comes in handy , ( I know you can't take the yorkshire man out of me ) , bar prices good and bar meals / restaurant available , would recommend to everybody , Kevin turpin from leeds

Nobody to meet me on arrival , maybe its me but I just like to be greeted into the hotel , On saying that the bar person did a great job ,

The breakfast was the best thing about the stay, two rashers of bacon, a good slice of black pudding, two eggs, mushrooms, two conventional (i.e. not Lorne) sausages, tomatoes, fried bread and baked beans - I didn't eat much else all day. Nicely positioned desk meant that I was able to do an hour or so of relaxed work in the morning before I left, in daylight and not artificial light, with a pleasing small town ambience just outside the window.

I had to change rooms because the window in 102 would not open and it was feeling, for me, oppressively over-heated. However, once I remembered I had a tongue in my head and went downstairs to explain the problem I got shifted to teh room next door and had a good night's sleep without any further problems.

Nice people and owner at the bar. Room is okay for that price.

The beds are uncomfortable but okay for two nights. There is breakfast included but doesn't include anything else than cereals ,toast, fruit and tea/coffee

Not star but 5 star ++ for good value, being dog friendly with no fuss or extra charge and helpfulness of staff. A lovely girl that showed me to my room and had cleaned and prepared it - she made that extra effort and ran down all the stairs and back as she thought I may need a little more milk. breakfast was great - another girl with a nice cheerful manner serving who made sure everything was ok for me.
