The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I appreciated having 2 pillows each. The bathroom was huge, including a huge shower which was amazing and a large bathtub. There was shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower gel stocked up which was really handy. The location was great, really close to the town centre. Just a very short drive. The area was quiet and the staff were very welcoming. We was upgraded on arrival to a bigger room which was really appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The plug in the bath wouldn’t seal very well and so the water would empty quickly. It would have been nice to have had a smart TV.

The staff at this place are amazing but Shannon is absolutely exceptional! She went above and beyond to help us out in so many ways when our car broke down just as we arrived for our weekend away. If you like a friendly face, some one who will find you a way, she's your person! As well as this, the room was great and well decorated, the big hot powerful shower was super and the bathroom modern and spacious! The food was good too for evening and breakfast. Free parking and secure lodge.

Everything very modern, comfortable and clean. Staff pleasant. Food simple, but good and made with pride. Beautiful view from bar and dining lounge. Parking adjacent to our room. The shower in our bathroom was a particularly good one - temperture easily copntrolled, plentiful pumped water, detachable head, adjustable jet.

I would have liked an EV charging point.

The bathroom was superbly luxurious and demanded and received a de-stressing shower on arrival and then the following morning. The bed was very comfortable and ensured a great night of undisturbed sleep. Everything was clean and fresh. A great location and I just wish I had been able to bring golf clubs with me - discounted rate for the gold if you stay the night.

Would have benefited from a bath sheet. The luxury of the shower and the rest of the property would have gained with something significant to wrap in rather than the smaller bath towel (albeit clean and fresh). Breakfast wasn’t included or an option but we set off early so it wasn’t a real issue for us.

Staff were lovely and welcoming, clean room with massive shower, food in the restaurant was lovely, nice and close to Kendal town and Windermere, good sized television, comfortable bed. They also provide a hairdryer which was good as I forgot mine!

Just a few things, the green light above the door that doesn’t go off ever lit the room at night which made me struggle to get to sleep. the noise from other people in the lodges especially upstairs was quite irritating because you could even hear their conversations and every step they took. the window in the bathroom is directly onto the main road which was loud as I think the window was only single glazed. I’d advise to also put some blinds on the downstairs rooms at the lodge as we stayed in lodge 4 and if we had the curtains open for day light there was zero privacy you could see right into our room. The room was quite dark as there was no main light just lamps which were dull.

The room was comfortable but on the smaller side and a nice large bathroom and which was a very nice feature

The breakfast needed to be paid separately without opportunity to add the breakfast to the room- the service for the breakfast wasn’t great as eggs were not poached properly and when mentioned, a replacement was not offered Also there was no phone to speak to reception which wasn’t good as there could be reasons we needed to speak with them

Restaurent staff very helpful in providing alternative food option instead of only the "primary festive" element identified on the menu for Sunday evening. Good food, well cooked & presented.

No breakfast availability for Monday morning, not advised of this at reception & only found out during a chance discussion with bar staff Sunday evening

The lodge was lovely..we stayed in ...i booked to stay there for my partners 50th Birthday.. Great facilities....very clean...lovely set up..would highly recomend...very pleased

.we had our meal at caras green the food was exceptional....thoroughly enjoyed it..and staff were very helpful as were reception... Will be definatly staying again ..

Lack of control on room temperature No information or apparent room temperature controls other than an obvious thermostatic radiator valve, although this appeared to be overridden from elsewhere. It also appeared that the heating timing was controlled elsewhere. The room we stayed in also had no WiFi.

Very comfortable accommodation in a very pretty golf course location. Rooms face away from the road so lovely and quiet even during the morning rush hour. Bathrooms are exceptional.

The bar is not always open in the evenings. As we were out with friends one night it wasn't a problem but had we been staying longer it would have been nice to have it open.
