Location! Super. Right next to Albert Dock and facing Liverpool 1. There's also the wheel of Liverpool next to the hotel. I also had a lovely view of the city and river. The room was fine. Mattress and pillows were comfortable. I had an iron and ironing board. There were enough hangers. The black out curtains were effective. The bathroom lotions, shampoos, and soaps were very good. The fridge was stocked with water, chocs and Pepsi.

Breakfast was good but expensive and not worth the cost. The bathroom was small for an Executive room. The tub, sink and toilet worked but weren't up to the value of the room. I had a desk chair but not a sofa chair.

It was a lovely quiet room (with a window that could be opened!), simply furnished but fairly spacious with a comfortable bed and sufficient storage space. There was a clean modern bathroom (I was pleased to see them using refillable soap and shampoo containers, instead of the very un-green disposable little bottles). The breakfast was good quality food, with lots of choices and good value for money. The staff could not have been more helpful. They were clearly run off their feet at breakfast, but would always stop and help cheerfully, if ever we needed anything.

The area was not ideal for us. It felt a bit barren in the immediate area of the stadium and then rather over-commercial as soon as we walked round the corner towards the Albert Dock. We preferred to walk into the older city centre for museums, galleries, food and drink. Because of understaffing, breakfast tables were often not cleared and cleaned quick enough for new arrivals, a problem exacerbated by trying to restrict the size of the breakfast room in use on a couple of mornings.

Except the points mentioned below, everything else about the hotel was really excellent: location, hotel and room facilities, cleanliness, luxury, design and architecture, staff friendliness and helpfulness, etc.

It was quite disappointing that our family group were assigned rooms that were scattered in different sections and on different floors even though we’d booked the rooms 1.5 months in advance. Also, the hotel restaurant should be much quicker – we waited for a very long time even though we were the only customers at the time for our late lunch.

Perfect location for those attending the M&S Centre for a concert or exhibition - it is literally only 50 yards away door to door. The hotel reception and waiting staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our "executive" room was a good size and nicely furnished - the bed was extremely comfortable and gave us a good night's sleep. As part of the "executive room" package my wife and I were given a complimentary drink at the bar, and vouchers for coffee plus 20% discount off food and drink. The fridge in the room had complimentary soft drinks and snacks. Breakfast in the morning was a self serve buffet with both hot and cold dishes, tea, coffee and a variety of juices yoghurts and cheeses. Good selection, nicely prepared and great tasting but we found the food layout was somewhat hap hazard without a logical sequence.

I already knew that on site car parking wasn't available so I'm not complaining - just something to be aware of. The hotel does however have an arrangement with a secure multi-story car park 200 yards away where the 24 hour overnight fee is reduced from£18 to £12.

Excellent location near Royal Albert Dock, Beatles Museum and Liverpool wheel, and the embarkation Docks to travel to the IOM. Comfortable room, great shower, comfortable bed. Easy walk to Liverpool one and central station and restaurants.

There was no access to the dining room as it was only for pre booked tour groups with a set menu not available to people staying in the hotel. This was not made clear at the time of checking in. The bar restaurant was slow in delivering my meal and got the order completely mixed up. When I did receive my meal, it was excellent, and the complimentary drink I had to ask for helped. However, I would recommend looking elsewhere in the future. As there are many nearby alternatives with less costly options and better service.

We arrived a bit early our room. Wasn't ready ( not a problem as we were early) they put luggage away for you, we were given a free ticket for a coffee ( nice touch) when room was ready we got to our room ( 645) beautiful views if the mersey it was our anniversary they did our room out with Rose petals balloons biscuits and free drinks . The room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size, and the shower was good. We will be back in the future About 10 min walk to the town We requested a late checkout, which was granted we checked out just before 12.

I booked this hotel for my sons birthday as part of his gift as we had tickets for a show at the arena. I messaged ahead, asking if they had our room type with a nice view due to the occasion with one side of their hotel facing Liverpool Docks. To my absolute surprise, the hotel upgraded us to a suite free of charge. Complete with balloons, a birthday message, some complimentary items in the mini fridge, and some drinks vouchers. The room had the most spectacular view from both the bedroom area and living area. My son was absolutely over the moon. So much so that he didn't want to leave the room, so we cancelled our restaurant booking and ordered room service, which was delicious. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. They definitely went the extra mile. We really appreciated it. Breakfast the next morning was really nice and there was lots of variety. The hotels location is great. And the car park is literally 2mins walk if that and you can park at a discounted rate.

This is my third stay in this hotel. This time the hotel was much much cleaner than before. Had previous problems with the bathroom cleanliness level. This time, the bathroom was spotless. We were celebrating a special occasion and asked for a special room with good view. We got the corner view room, which was truly exceptional. The room had views of both Albert dock and mersey river, as well as, Liverpool wheel. The receptionist, Danniella, was very nice and helpful this time and the last time I was around. The hotel's location is wonderful. It's close to the waterfront, to Albert dock, to the city centre, and to Liverpool one station. The bed was as always super clean and comfortable. The room was very very very spacious. The best I've stayed in at the UK. It was very well lit by natural light as it has huge windows. The hotel has a cafe which stays open very late.

Nothing. This visit was super in every aspect.

My room was 543. Very comfortable room. Large very comfortable bed. Great view from my window - overlooked Pizza Express, Liverpool Wheel, Albert Dock and the River Mersey. Samsung TV and brilliant very clean bathroom with bath & shower. Lots storage for hanging my shirts and T-Shirts. Breakfast was included in my price. First class service - great variety of foods and drinks for breakfast. Restaurant very spacious and clean. Best crispy bacon and scrambled eggs!!! Location of Hotel Perfect - opposite M&S Bank Arena. Saw the Pet Shop Boys on Friday evening 23rd. Supper in East-2-East Restaurant and lunch on Friday in the Pizza Express. Staff on Reception Desk - very friendly, welcoming and professional. Staff who clean and maintain our rooms on a daily basis - very hard working, polite and very friendly. You should be a 5 Star Hotel *****

There was nothing to dislike. Everything was Exceptional. Very good night sleeps on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The location is secend to none for M&S Bank Arena and Akbert Dock. Our suite had nice panoramic views, bed was comfortable, bathroom very nice, the bar and bar staff were very nice, the breakfast was very nice so highly recommended.

Reading previous reviews, there is obviously a major issue with air conditioning, as ours did not work either. I wish the staff would not tell porkies, by saying they control it and can switch it on for a few hours as it never comes on and I cannot believe they control individual rooms to order....Just be honest....its broken. Asked for a fan, it didnt arrive, could not phone reception as they did not pick up as checking people in at 3pm plus.....must do better....employ more people. All suites are not the same. The super lamb banana suite was inferior to previous stays. The toilet was very cramped, too close to the sink Needs a good refurb.
