Not necessarily didn’t like but it is something to point out. This hostel -unlike most- accepts children In my case there was some kind of school excursion with about 80 kids that were quite noisy after 00:00, and some guests complained about it. Nevertheless, it is a hostel and you have to learn to deal with the cons that come with the big pro that is the price

My room was quite empty (aside from a bed, wardrobe and small cabinet). The windows were single glazed, so allowed in quite a bit of road noise - especially when emergency vehicles went past throughout the night. More furniture in the room or pictures on the wall, would help absorb sound (it was quite echoy). Recommend earplugs, and it would be much better! Maybe rooms on the other side to where I was, are not as noisy :) I would still stay again though, it was so cheap!

It exceeded my expectations, as I had never stayed in a hostel with two children. The staff were friendly, the bed linen and towels were really clean, and the bathrooms were clean. The best part was the shower, it's perfect, you can choose the water temperature you like. The room was nice and warm.

What could be improved is the cleanliness of the windows and curtains. It didn't affect our stay, but it would have been more pleasant. And the price of breakfast, which I found a little expensive for my pocket, is almost £10 per person. However, it was optional, so we went somewhere else to eat, and it was fine.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. As a female solo traveller I felt safe due to good security measures and the opportunity to book a female only room. The facilities were clean and the beds were comfy, so I had a good night rest. Even though the hostel was busy and filled with people, it was quiet during the night. The location was fantastic as it was near the Royal Albert Dock and the shopping centre.

The WiFi signal was a bit weak in my room, but it is a minor problem in comparison to all the good things the hostel is offering.

Nice hostel despite the wifi problem. Kitchen was big and well stocked. Beds were comfortable enough and the hostel was clean. The best bit was that the hostel was 100m from a grocery store. Convenient to get to Albert dock for all the tourist attractions. Liverpool public transport seems hopeless though so the Liverpool lime street station was a good 20 min walk away with no way to shorten the journey even with big bags. Nice safe area.

The wifi was UNUSABLE. This place would have been perfect if not for the fact that the wifi was completely broken. For all the days I was here it couldn’t hold a connection. I told the front desk numerous times and they tried resetting the modem. Please fix the internet!

It's a very affordable accomodation at a walking distance form all the main things to see and do in Liverpool. There is a free car park on site, which is convenient, but I notice the car parks around the area do get really cheap. Staff is friendly and the structure very nice.

There was a problem with the shower in the room, and cold water was coming. One of the people I was sharing the room with said she mentioned it to reception and that unfortunately it is a know issue. Other communal showers were working better, it's just a bit inconvenient that it's not the one in the room.

I thankfully found YHA Liverpool moments after a failed reservation. I needed someplace to stay that night and was so unbelievably grateful that I came across YHA Liverpool at such a great price for a May weekend. The hostel is very well located to the center and other dynamic, fun neighborhoods while also being close to the docks. Coming back late as a young female adult, I did not have any problems. Well lit roads are easy to find and take back to the hostel. Nothing but good vibes and easy communication with the day and night staff. Happy to help where they can, I was able to receive some great tips for places to eat, things to do, etc. from the staff. The room is a good size and kept up. Showers have good water pressure and bathrooms are clean. The food prep area also exceeded my expectations, is large and was a safe place to store food (there’s a supermarket just 5 minutes away). My luggage remained secured in their storage.

The place it's clean and The location perfect,, The Peoples where nice as well. That’s a very good place

I hâd a pb with The reservation, but looks like i"ve made a mistake and booked in a famale dormitor, but they said this happen almost every day... So my advice to them if they want to be coreects is before aproving the booking is to send a message via Booking like that: "Are you aware mister that you have booked a bed in a womans dormitory?", and not to take advantage of this, trying to cut a day. In rest all was perfect

Location is incredibly convenient to all sightseeing, nightlife and restaurants The hostel had tons of suggestions on a nice board. There's a TV room There's a bar / café / breakfast Most hostel staff are incredibly friendly and helpful Really safe for solo female backpackers There's towel for rental and laundry facilities. You can park car as well I personally enjoyed a lot and highly recommend it There are lockers bring your your padlock

Just a bit of mould on the toilet but I supposed it was the downside and there was no lunch because there's shortage of staff (still 5stars though don't worry 😊)

Good location for sightseeing around the city, and even though it is next to a main road it is fairly quiet. Has nice common rooms and kitchen. Bedroom is comfortable and has an average number of beds.

YHA tends to be a location for school groups to stay, and they often run up and down hallways screaming. No matter which location, there's always school children and this was no exception. My shared room door had a dodgy lock so we had to leave it ajar often, and these children would stop and look in thinking their classmates were in the room. Other than the children the location is a fairly long walk from Liverpool Lime St station.
