Me and my friend Emma stayed here for the Liverpool Comicon this weekend and could not fault the hotel for anything. Everything was exceptional. Big shout out to the evening staff on Friday night and Saturday night who were amazing , friendly , chatty and entertaining. We will see you again in October :) If we knew the names of the staff id mention them but we was a little intoxicated both evenings.

The location is ideal so easy to walk to the city centre the waterfront and all attractions. Easy paying barriered car parking across the road £20 per day. The staff were all friendly and very helpful, the buffet style breakfast with three available time slots was what you would expect in this type of hotel and very nice with a good selection. Directions provided by the hotel and Booking.com were faultless made the drive a pleasure. TBH proberbly one of the best located hotel for visiting Liverpool. If visiting please go on the open top city hop on hop off tour bus, so informative and great value we went round once and then the second time we knew were to get . on and off and tickets are valued for 2 days. (Tour guide Jimmy was really good) I intend to go back as 3 days were not enough and I will definitely go back to this hotel.

There was certainly nothing to dislike.

Great location, breakfast good selection and plentiful in a nice calm dining area. Room nice but would request a river view if we did return. Booking . com did not inform us that the discounted parking need to be pre-booked so the very lovely patient Mary was able to assist us 2 old technophobes when she saw us struggling and dis-appeared before we had the chance to tip her, but she deserves a mention!

We arrived at 1 a.m. and intercom did not work so we had to bang really loudly on door!! One of the lifts was out of order and other tiny one was really slow. Our room was alongside Beatles story and there was a constant buzzing noise that kept us awake. This was the only reason we would not use this hotel again as everything else was good. Booking . com did not inform us that our discounted parking had to be PRE booked so we had a bit of a panic!

Great location within walking distance of all the City Centre sights. Loved the exposed structural elements of the old warehouse. Had to park quite a distance away as I used Q car park under Liverpool One is very modern and feels safe. Breakfast was fine if a bit crowded at times.

Would have been nice to have air conditioning but can understand that would have been difficult because of the listed nature of the building. My room was a bit noisy but to be expected in such a busy location with so many bars and restaurants. Rooms are comfortable but looking a bit tired and in need of some refurbishment.

The location was just perfect for us, our Daughter was at a cheerleading comp at the M&S Bank arena which is only a few mins walk away. There were a mix up with our family room but, the staff were very quick at rectifying this. We also, had a incident where our Daughter went missing and the staff responded so quickly & calmly and thankfully, she was found.

The firedoors lead to adjacent hotel, this is how my Daughter got lost due to being able to get into other hotel & no obvious signs you are in different hotel, I would suggest some signs to make this more noticeable. The single bed, wasn't very comfy & some of the mechanisms did have some sharp edges, which were difficult to avoid.

Very good location! However, since it’s located at the dock, be careful of the wind, very windy compare to the city area. My room was located at the very end of the corridor and we had to go through 4 parting doors (I don’t know the purpose of these doors tbh), but the view was very nice. There’s only one button for the elevator so we don’t know whether it’s actually going to go up or down 😂 They have access straight to the Albert Dock which has plenty of cafes and restaurants. There are gift shops as well.

The location of the Holiday Inn Express is right at the heart of Liverpool’s Albert Dock, you only have to look out the window to be immersed in service history, step out the door and you are surrounded by vibrant hospitality options too numerous to mention, as we where in Liverpool for a concert at the M&S Bank Arena the location could not be better, footsteps away, and the breakfast can not be faulted, makes a wonderful start to the day.

We love the Holiday Inn Express, only downside at this time of year is the price, which appeared a little high, but as the location is everything to us, we were willing to pay the extra.

Location is ideal. Included breakfast was a big help. Room was big enough for 2 friends and the luggage. Bathroom was clean. Lovely view of the Mersey.

Air conditioning or a stand-up fan would be better when staying during the summer time. A TV guide or channel/programme information to help see what is actually on TV (current TV’s don’t have guides so you cannot see what is showing). Some bedside drawers or just one drawer per bed rather than just a table. Plugs at the bedsides rather than on the other side of the room.

It is a great hotel, very nice comfortable rooms, very clean. We were a little surprised to have our rooms attended to dayly as in other hotels they no longer do this since covid, was nice to be back to normal. Breakfast was very good everything you needed and good quality. Overall we had a pleasant stay just a shame the weather was rubbish

The only negative would be there was no where to dry the towels off so they were still quite wet when we showered in the evening after the mornings shower. Other than that everything was great

The staff were so nice and friendly and helpful. The room was lovely. Everywhere was so clean. The breakfast was great, lots of choice. Beds were so comfortable. Albert dock was great location for visiting attractions. For the cost I expected much less. Good size tv, tea making facility, large fluffy soft towels, lovely shower. My sister and I were both very impressed and will be encouraging family to take a trip and stay at this hotel.

There wasn’t anything that could have been better reception even gave my sister a toothbrush kit as she’d not packed hers.
