Room was stunningly decorated. Massive and high ceilings. Beds are also massive. Bath was amazing with an addition shower. Nice little surprise to have a kitchen. Staff where absolutely phenomenal, so friendly and approachable. We had a balcony which was brilliant for people watching lol.

Bottom sheets not fitted or even fitted the bed. Could see dust on black carpet behind furniture (unfortunately a black carpet isn't very forgiving). Small amounts of black mould in bathroom (no fan and we all had baths and showers). Needed a lamp. Other lights too dark for chilling out at night. Cushions on sofas would make it more cosy and inviting.

Was pleasantly surprised after reading a few bad reviews but as we were only staying one night thought we would give it a go for the price as the location was perfect, within walking distance to everything we wanted. It is in need of a refurbishment there's no denying that but the room was clean enough and very spacious. There was a wedding happening the night we stayed and despite being on the first floor we weren't disturbed at all. The biggest positive for this hotel is the staff, they were all extremely welcoming and helpful-couldn't fault them at all!

Rooms do need attention, in particular the bathroom but was fine for a short stay.

It's perfectly central for what we needed, lovely and clean, breakfast was wonderful. Comfortable beds, nice and quiet, staff welcoming

In our room there was a sofa bed, but there was no pillow or bedding for it, which we didn't realise until after our night out at 3am, luckily we rang down to reception abd the wonderful man who was the night manager came to our room with bedding and even made the bed up for us at 3am! He was fantastic and was chatting away to us made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. We also only had 1 toilet roll which didn't last us long when 5 people were staying in the 1 room, reception delivered some more of those too

Lovely hotel, our room was beautiful and huge. The staff were all very friendly and smiley. Good pricing and close to the ferry for us coming from the Isle of man. The rooftop bar was incredible and the staff there were equally as friendly and helpful

Unfortunately when we got yo our room there was poo in the toilet and no toilet brush to clean it. The bath had no plug but the lovely staff did bring us one after we asked. The air conditioning did not work and we were told this was the case throughout the hotel. Such a shame as it was so warm and we were unable to open the windows that resulted in us feeling sick when in the room due to the heat.

When we arrived our room wasn't the one I had booked, I went to reception to be told the hotel was full but could be moved in the morning, the next morning we spoke to the hotel manager and decided to stay in the room given rather than having to pack and unpack, she gave us discount on the room and also complementary late check out which was very welcomed. We also had an issue with the toilet handle flush and the maintenance man was straight there to sort it out. The staff were all really friendly and couldn't do enough. There was also a lovely rooftop bar which was lovely with having the nice hot weather. Location was also perfect.

Excellent receptionist that checked us in, made us feel so special on arrival at the hotel and very professional. Lovely relaxed atmosphere around the hotel perfect location and rooms are to a very high standard... Definitely recommend a visit to the roof top bar where you'll be well looked after by the bar staff and view of Albert Dock is fab... Extras were requested in the room to celebrate daughters 18th birthday, balloons and prosecco definitely exceed our expectations, will recommend hotel, excellent location both to shops and Albert Dock... Hope to be back again...

Absolutely incredible - the manager is an outstanding guy, I know there’s a few managers but this is specifically the one who’s related to someone from the titanic, his great grandad I believe, he showed us the safes in the underground room with the swimming pool where Tom cruise has been naked with a load of girls, got to say had my mrs smiling to herself for the rest of the night 😂 I’d absolutely love to come back, in fact to book that exact suite for my birthday 13th October given it’s available and I can pull a grand out my ass or I get a little discount for my nice review *wink* *wink*

Everything was outstanding, decor, cleanliness, hotel staff, ice buckets on tap, what more could you ask for during a hotel stay!!

Staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful. Room was acceptable. I did not have any food at the hotel so cannot comment on that. The location was perfect for us.

It was a bit shabby in places. We had no air con in the room, it was not working, they did provide a fan. The bathroom in our room had a big jacuzi style tub. At 84 and 75 yrs my husband and I could not climb into it. The shower head was over the center of the tub, so we could not get a shower either for the same reason. We could not climb into it. I did mention it to the reception desk on leaving.

Our first room was brill but had to change over something small , our new room was epic the kids thought it was off Harry Potter as their room was round in a Turret . We didn't have a kitchen in new room but that wasn't a problem either as all around are places to eat . Happy days 🙂

Just the Air con not working but after going through Menopause the heat for me wasn't an issue 🤣 and our first room stunk of Farts 🤣 .

The Hotel is absolutely stunning, full of life. History around every corner. The staff were exceptional, they make the hotel as much as its grandeur. The room was an amazing size and every facility in it you could possibly need.

The decor is dated and as we were informed it is due to have a mass over haul. There was a towel left in the bathroom from the previous occupant and crisps on the carpet. The shower head and mirror need it were covered in black damp. All rooms and corridors were exceptionally hot as no air conditioning was working.
