Hotel was spotless staff very friendly and professional and very dog friendly room was roomy and plenty of space we had room in back but not bothered as we only slept in there breakfast was well cooked and very tasty will definitely stay there again

Car parking a nightmare

Right from booking in at reception with the lovely Harriet all the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was small but not a problem, the bathroom also small with the toilet awkwardly placed behind the door. The shower over the bath was not suitable for seniors due to a lack of grab handles. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. The food, i.e. dinner and breakfast was excellent with generous portions. The web site mentions a ramp at the rear of the property which they say is not available, but there is a perfectly good ramp at the front of the property. The WiFi worked well in the room on the second floor.

A better bathroom arrangement would have been preferred, but this may have been available and when we return we will ask for this.

We really liked The Llandudno Bay Hotel, as it was very modern, with plush furnishings and a little luxury, all areas were spacious and extremely comfortable, also spotlessly clean everywhere, with a beautiful and comfortable seating area at the front of the hotel, location was perfect and quiet, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and extremely helpful with any questions.

There was nothing we didn’t like, only sad we didn’t stay longer, will definitely be back soon. Really good value for money without compromising quality and comfort.

Hotel is situated on the front, overlooking the promenade. 10-15 minute gentle stroll to the pier. A lovely breakfast included in the price and the dinner menu was also good value. Our room was on the top floor so it was quite small but there was a great view so that made up for it. A fan was in the room which was a real bonus in the heatwave. All the staff were really friendly and helpful so we loved our stay.

There’s free parking on the road only so that does make it a little difficult to find a space - it’s sometimes further away from the hotel or round the corner. However, we were there for 4 nights and the car was safe enough.

I discovered upon arrival that I had mistakenly booked a double room instead of a twin, and although there wasn't anything the hotel could do to rectify this on our first night, they went above and beyond to ensure the room was changed for the rest of our trip. The hotel is beautifully presented, it's clean and has fabulous facilities, I loved the tasimo coffee maker. It also has a very comfortable seating area a the front of the hotel which is immaculately maintained. Lastly but by no means least, the staff, particularly Kane, were very friendly, attentive and are a credit to the establishment.

The breakfast was good, hot, well presented and available with multiple choices which we enjoyed. The sea facing bedroom was of good size and had excellent views of the bay, pier and Orme. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant and we thank them all.

The lift was small and very slow. My wife is partially disabled and did not enjoy the slow trip between floors. Parking on the sea front had difficulties as we visited during half term and was very busy. However, if you were fortunate to find a space it was free parking night and day which is an obvious saving nowadays. Well done to the local council who are not obsessed with fleecing the motorist. Pay parking everywhere was cheap compared with parking charges in Devon.

Return guests Lovely hotel located on the seafront with free parking outside.Staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are very comfortable and well appointed.We liked the luxury toiletries and extras - bottled water,Welsh shortbread coffee machines, slippers and eye masks. Food was very good'- Great choice for breakfast and hot food cooked to order. Dined in restaurant two nights and enjoyed what we ordered. Lovely seating area to the front of the hotel.Will be back!

Due to booking at last minute our room choice was unavailable.We had club Seaviews on 3rd floor.One room in particular was rather small and had a tiny bathroom. Would recommend first floor room with bay window- have own telescope!

Lovely sea view. Excellent food. Slippers were a nice touch. Receptionist on arrival was very helpful. For people with motor scooters etc., there was a ramp leading up to indoor parking area.

Position of door in bathroom a bit awkward. Needed to have towel rail next to sink instead of dribbling water over to rail by bath, which, by the way, was far too small for two sets of towels. Extractors would be a good idea. I noticed some mold beginning to gather. It was the first hotel I've stayed in where tissues weren't provided. Also some extra hangers would be good. Finally, as with most hotels, decaffeinated coffee was provided, but not decaffeinated tea. I hope it doesn't seem like I'm nit -picking, I hope you find some of my suggestions helpful.

We enjoyed our 3 nights here, it does get busy and booked up quickly so book well in advance. Massive bonus for us is that it is dog friendly - dogs can stay in the room with you, then there is a dining area and lounge where the dogs are permitted. Lovely sea view if you get that type of room but you will pay extra for it. Out bed was very comfortable, room was well stocked with a kettle, coffee maker, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water, biscuits and also things like eye masks, shower caps and slippers. Rooms are cleaned daily, especially if you have dogs with you. Staff are lovely and friendly. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times, gluten free and vegetarian options available. Mixed reviews for the food really, some of it was really good, some of it was just ok. If you get some nice weather there are some lovely comfy seats outside with a great view of the sea! It's a good 15-20 min walk from the hotel to get down to the pier area, but it's a lovely walk along the promenade.

Rooms was quite small, especially the bathroom, nowhere to store anything in the bathroom, not a lot of room to get into the shower with the sliding doors. Not allowed into the bar area with the dogs, which makes getting a drink very difficult if you're on your own with them! Food was sometimes good, sometimes not - Sunday lunch left a lot to be desired! Free Wi-Fi kept dropping out. Long walk to get into the town centre from the hotel.

Excellent breakfast - good quality and cooked well. Approachable and helpful staff. Pleasant area to sit outside at the front of the hotel. The level walkway/promenade around the bay is so easy to access across the road from the hotel. We found somewhere to park in the immediate area relatively easily every day when we returned.

Regarding the bathroom: The dispensers over the small wash basin made it very difficult to use it especially when cleaning teeth. The hand lotion dispenser isn't really necessary and the (broken) hand wash dispenser could be relocated or removed. The fixings for the towel rail have been placed mid rail instead of at the end meaning you can't drape a towel to dry over the rails as the fixings block it. The price of drinks put us off dining in the hotel, which we would have done.
