Location was great for us, it had car parking, the staff were really friendly, the sea view room we had was great, the bed linen was spotless, the beds were really comfy, it was quiet so we got a good nights sleep. It was nice the hotel had a bar and the breakfast was good the following morning.

I asked in advance if we could check-in an hour earlier at 2pm instead of 3pm which would of helped us get sorted out before going to the Theatre but I was told that was probably not possible. When we arrived at lunchtime we were advised we could check-in at 2.30pm but that was the time we had to be at the Theatre as our show started at 3pm so we instead had to check-in at 6pm after the show. We went out for dinner and when we returned to the hotel later in the evening our room was quite chilly compared to the downstairs areas as the heating in our room seemed to of gone off.

Location very good - only a short walk to theatre. Room small but overlooked the sea and very clean. Lovely staff throughout hotel. Car park was a bit snug so we used the theatre car park - £10 for 24 hours. A lovely breakfast.

The breakfast was very good. However, the evening meal was very mediocre. I had prawn cocktail but the prawns weren’t of the best quality. We both had fish and chips. Fish ok but the chips weren’t home made. The peas were of poor quality. I had fruit crumble for dessert which was nice.

Too many stairs for me to get to room. Felt I was doing an obstacle course due to limited mobility & disabled needing stick to walk with. Was not aware of this prior to stay but I had not mentioned any disability during booking room

Good location friendly staff and very clean and comfortable room and cloisters.

Upon our arrival we were told that our pre booked breakfast had an early and late sitting and that the late sitting was not available so we had no choice but to book the early sitting from 07.45 to 0845 which was not our preference. I was not told by the hotel that they had separate sitting times for breakfast prior to our arrival.

The location near the sea is very good. The rooms are clean, beds very comfortable. Staff very kind and attentive. It is a nice place to stay some days.

The double room is outside the building and not closer to the family room (it was mentioned in the Booking, not an unexpected location), the noise from the room upstairs was very clear in the double room.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. Bar area with great staff and handy for a night cap. Nice view from our room.

Sealant around shower stained and discoloured. Rust shelf over sink. Could easily and very cheaply resolved. Bed was OK. Many of the hotel doors need a good amount of oil to stop squeaking.A light by the dressing table would be great.

Awful shower which kept going hot & cold also the flow kept reducing/increasing. The breakfast slot we were given was a bit too early for a Sunday morning

The staff were awesome and the food was outstanding......

The only thing I didn't really enjoy was the mattress. It wasn't ideal for me comfort wise

Rooms a little dark. Noise travelled in rooms. Tray in shower would be useful. Milk jug at breakfast would be useful.

Excellent sea view, very clean room. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice.

Guests should be aware that the rear carpark can get crowded, but is on a first come first served basis.
