The bedroom was very clean, modern and had a kettle to make coffee/tea which pods/sachets were provided. It was nice to have toiletries supplied as well. The breakfast was good value with continental i.e bread/cereals etc and a cooked breakfast. The location was great aswell, walkable into the centre but also easy to get out and explore, good to have the ample free parking. But the helpfulness, friendliness and hospitality of the owner/staff was the bonus of this hotel.

Everything was great but if I had to be picky for us personally then I would like to have had more choices of vegetarian for the cooked breakfast. But it wasn't a problem and would like to return for another stay.

We thought the prices for a night in general in the area were abut experience although this was still one of the cheaper ones, we were very happy with the room, the owner who greeted us was really nice and friendly, the room was cosy, the bed was comfortable and a good breakfast plus there was free parking and accommodated the baby really well too with a cot and a high chair at breakfast !

Excellent location and use of the free private car park was a bonus. Rooms were lovely and clean and looked like they had recently been done up. Breakfast included was great and we were even asked how they could cater for our 2 year old.

The bar wasn't open but no reason as to why as the hotel seemed full. A shame as we ended up getting some wine from the shop to drink in the room. The toilet seat was also a little loose and the flush was not the best/very loud - also gave out an unpleasant smell when flushing.

Easy to find hotel,plenty of parking. Very easy check in. Great space for a family room,big & comfortable beds. Coffee machine with pods. Big bathroom. Quiet location but only very short walk to centre of town, sea front and pier. Excellent and friendly owner & staff. Went out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable.Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Excellent hosts, great location, size of room was great, breakfast was fab, although could have been served until 9:30/10am. After an early start Saturday, a lie in would have been Nice. Great that we could park on site.

We were room 3, the people above were noisy and floor boards were very creaky. We could hear them walking about at 1am. And hear the shower on , water running and chain been flushed. They were up early too , so again could hear them at 6:30am. Floor boards creaking and again toilet, shower and water running. Everything else was great

I could not have chosen a better place to stay than this hotel I simply cannot fault it!! From the moment we pulled up to their own car park everything was fantastic honestly we were greeted with such friendliness and professionalism and as soon as we walked in the decor was lovely and a gorgeous plush bar area was to the right as we walked in, our room was so tastefully decorated with wonderful finishing touches even a fan was there waiting to cool us down a Dulce Gusto coffee machine with plenty of coffee as well as a kettle for tea, a hairdryer was there just everything you need for a perfect stay, the cleanliness was 10/10 the beds were so comfortable I can’t fault it! Then in the morning we went down for a gorgeous and hot tasty breakfast service was fab the room was again so well decorated clearly the wonderful hosts have a great eye and great taste for decor giving a lovely ambiance to the whole feel of the hotel. We will be back without a doubt and shall be and already have recommended The Oak Alyn to everyone! Last bonus is location absolutely perfect less than 5 minutes walk to everything. There was NOTHING we didn’t like

lovely clean, modern rooms. Steve was really flexible and helpful after us turning up late due to a breakdown…I explained that I had an appointment the following morning due to me getting married the following day so asked if I could check out later which he was absolutely fine about and organised the cleaner to do our room last :) he really did go above and beyond. Was disappointed that I had to book a different hotel on a different night due to me being unorganised and Steve having no rooms available for a second stay.

Very clean and well presented, really enjoyed the breakfast, young lady serving us was very friendly and helpful, disappointed, no veggie sausage. Room was very comfortable and bathroom was clean and functional with great shower. Would definitely go back and stay again.

No veggie option for the breakfast, made do with hash brown, beans and fried egg and toast which was lovely.

Looks like it has recently been newly renovated. The room and the bathroom looks new, tidy and clean. There is a Dolce gusto coffee machine in the room. Friendly hosts and allow us to store our luggages before and after check out. Good WiFi and good complimentary breakfast (full English breakfast) for all guests. Free parking spaces available.

The sofa beds are not very comfortable but it was acceptable. A little bit further from the beach (10mins) but still very close to every where. No lift, so have to carry your luggages with you on stairs. Sound proofing is not very good, can hear the other room and noises from the street if window is not closed.

The location, the excellent breakfast, the cleanliness were all great. Fabulous towels.

We booked a family room with 2 single beds and a bunk bed for the use of 3 adults. We were actually given a twin room with a folding extra bed which would be fine for a child but wasn't comfortable for an adult.
