The room was very clean and had a nice TV. The bathroom was refurbished and had a very modern look. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also nice! Location was great!

The room was a little bit small and didn’t have a mini fridge (single room), but it was stated in the description so it wasn’t a surprise.

Well situated for transportation, walking or running and close to some excellent pubs (I tried 4). The breakfast and service were both seriously good. Having a kettle with tea coffee and biscuits in the room was very convenient

We need gluten free, no reply to our email before our visit (enquiring about gf food) we enquired on arrival and we’re told this would be fine, it was marked on the guest list. However when we went for breakfast the staff seemed very vague about what was safe for us, could not be specific about what we could eat and did not offer the allergen book. My coeliac husband could not risk eating there, and this would have resulted in a tube trip to find breakfast - however we found a cafe just round the corner with an excellent GF selection. It is a shame that a best western hotel cannot cater for this common medical need, but our stay was otherwise excellent

The hotel is very close to sub way satiation ( Lancaster gate station ) and very close to Hyde park , it is located in quite distract . There is an elevator in this hotel . Housekeeping is Ok. you can walk for 15 min . to reach the intersection of tow street ( Oxford with Edgware road ). Special Thanks to one of the employee ( I really forget his name and he is a Palestinian) , he invited me during my stay to try the breakfast for one day as a free ( it was ok and good breakfast ) and he is very helpful . There is also small grocery ( open for 24 H) close to hotel.

Some time it is difficult to find your room because there is a lot of stairs and doors going to the other rooms which some time it will be confusing to find the room . The room is very small but it is ok for solo traveler. There is no mini bar in the room Loopy is small but it is Ok.

Room 202....safe was not operational...no battery, no lock . Was reported to desk at leaving (we did not need to use it at the end of our trip). Lots of stairs and the main elevator was out of service. for our 3 day stay Difficult with luggage for older people. Lancaster Gate tube station was closed the first day of our stay which was disappointing. I like to stay at Mornington because of the convenient location. Would prefer that the service girls in the cafeteria serve the coffee instead of having to get it yourself.

Very good location, Paddington Station less then 10 minutes walk. Lancester tube station (central line) 4 minute walk. Hyde Park and Kensington Park just one street away for peaceful morning walks. Nice breakfast restaurants and cafes in Bayswater high street or around Paddington. The central line was closed on Saturday however the hotel has a good location for buses or other tube connections. Breakfast was lovely, we tried once but as we wanted to try out other cafes and restaurants we skipped the breakfast at hotel. Room was a bit small but nice and clean. Fresh towels every day. Nice little sitting area with a bar, for a evening drink or a little chill after all day walking and exploring the city. Overall a good hotel, have a try.

We booked an executive doublebed room and got one just next to the elevator so we hear all the noises from the lift and inside the hotel hall. I would expect to have a room with a street view not a backyard view for executive room but as we spend there nights only we did not bother much. We were lucky to not have a noise neighbors so it was OK. We did not checkout as we need to leave to the airport at 4am and there was no receptionist available even though we have been told there will be a person at the desk at early morning hours. We left the key at the reception and left. Seems it worked well.

The location is excellent, 8 min walk form Paddington Station. Shorter walk to Tube station. Very near to Hyde Park, to enjoy being outside in parkland in London. Breakfast was well done with all options for hot and cold meals. Excellent quality big fluffy towels. Desk good when computer work needed to be undertaken.

Slight problem with both the sink and bath (with shower over the bath) drainage. New towels provided each day, in spite of us hanging therefore contravening the ‘Green’ notice in the bathroom that they are only changed if towels are placed in bath/on floor.

the room was very pleasant, breakfast was good, the staff were very obliging, efficient and friendly, the position opposite Hyde park is lovely. It was great to be able to leave our bags in care after checkout as our flights we not until late that night.

the restocking of teabags, milk, toilet paper was slack, the toasting facility was insufficient, really a minor problem in the scheme of things, the shower was hard to regulate and there was no cold water available at night from the basin tap so could not get a drink of water.

The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. Free newspapers if you want one. Nice Ritual toiletries to use and plentiful. Close to Lancaster Gate central line tube station and short walk to Paddington Rail station if you are coming into Heathrow. First time and would stay again. Also near Hyde Park which is nice walk around. Buses also close by to Marble Arch towards Oxford St.

Nothing really wrong with the hotel.

The location is superb - we were in London for a Hyde Park show & it's an ideal place to stay. Our room was on the top floor and we were never disturbed by noise either from inside or outside. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff we spoke to were helpful, check in/out was quick & easy and there were no issues at all in the couple of days we were staying.

Picking very minor faults - the water pressure in the shower was a trickle, but this was no real concern. The water was hot regardless.
