The room was very clean and looked very new. I was there for 4 nights and was very comfortable indeed. The staff was very polite and on arrival, I was shown to my room. Smart TV made it easy to relax and watch some films.

Not a major factor but because I was on the ground floor I could not open my blinds in the morning or people walking past would have been able to look in. The room could do with either some privacy glass or net curtains to allow light in. The pillows were a bit thin, but maybe that's a personal preference.

Helpful and attentive staff, especially reception. Cleaning staff were very careful not to disrupt us in any way, but kept the rooms very well looked after. Great location for Hyde Park area, but not on the main road so was quieter than I expected.

Reception area toilets were a bit unpleasant, didn't seem to work very well and sink was without a plug for handwashing. Room was rather small (but it was very well equipped). No food available on-site.

To me, the bed sheets did not appear to be changed daily. I noticed mine had some stains on it and the cleaning lady did not change it at all. Same for the pillows. The pillows were not changed at all. Only some basic ordering was done each day The bathroom looked clean Shower cabin :extremely small place due to the location. If you are overweight or over 182cm height you will not fit The kettle was not clean when i arrived Could use a mini fridge in the room The furniture is old and basic and needs repairs

Very good value hotel in a great location. Great proximity to tube stations for getting around with ease. Lovely area with lots of lovely restaurants and coffee shops etc. The bathroom was a bit small but had everything required with walk in shower. We stayed for 3 nights and clean towels, tea, coffee, milk etc were all stocked up everyday. Would also recommend Sheila's coffee shop across the road for a great breakfast to set you up for the day. The hotel is right on the edge of Hyde park which is lovely for a stroll.

The hotel is a bit dated and would maybe benefit from a fresh bit of paint here and there but for the price we paid for 3 nights for a twin room very good value, clean rooms and great location.

The bed and pillows were comfy and the room had enough storage for my needs, shower always had hot water and good water pressure. The ac unit was also working properly and was a great relief in the July heat. It was a small room but still good space for one person. Location ia perfect between two well-connected lines (Lancaster is closest and Paddington just 8 minute walk away) and there are also cafés and a bar located right on this corner. Staff were all welcoming and helpful, check in and check out ran smoothly, they helped with my laguage and everything I asked for. Towels were changed daily and the bins were cleaned too everyday. The safe was roomy enough for what I needed. I enjoyed my stay and glad I found this small little hotel, it was exactly what I was looking for :)

This property is on the older side, so there is some wear and tear. Some places were a bit dusty and the carpets, curtains and such have seen better days. It didn't bother me too much and I was still very comfortable. There is just one window to the room which was located in a small corridor away from the bed (with curtains) I was not able to reach it since it's really high so it remained open and covered throughout my stay. There was no way to lock the door on the inside (no latch or chain lock) and no strainer in the sink (so if a ring or a toothpaste cap falls, there's nothing to stop their way to oblivion). I didn't mention these smaller issues to the staff during my short stay.

The location was fantastic, just a stone’s throw from Hyde Park, which was perfect for a peaceful morning walk. It was also really convenient being within walking distance of two tube stations, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were wonderful, always friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. It made the whole stay feel really welcoming and relaxed.

The bathroom was definitely on the smaller side, so if you like a bit more room, it’s something to keep in mind. The water took its time draining in both the shower and sink, which meant you had to be a little patient. It wasn’t a huge issue, but a quicker drainage system would’ve made things more comfortable. Overall though, it was just a small thing in what was otherwise a really pleasant stay.

The location is absolutely awesome if you are arriving or departing from Paddington. I love the proximity to Hyde Park and other areas of interest. The property is large and appears to have a lot of rooms. I really appreciated the staff person who checked me and and gave me a lovely upgrade to a room with a larger bed since I had booked a single. That was most appreciated!! The room was facing the street. Not too much saturday/sunday night noise, but a little since there is a pub opposite. The in-room amenities were basic but adequate. Check-in and check-out were easy.

There was no downside. If i had to say anything i guess it would be some street noise, but the hotel is not in control of this of course!

corridors had damp on walls and unpleasant damp smell rooms are small but that is actually acceptable on no frills hotel BUT the sink was ridiculous ! cannot wash face in it as so tiny.....and i am a small petite woman! so anyone taller than 5 3 and heavier than 55 kilos good luck ! xx also single room shower tiny ....again ok for me as i am so small but anyone bigger would struggle to turn and raise arms..... be aware of this when booking x

We were allocated to rooms on the new area of the Hotel. Everything was nice and clean. Good smell. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Staff was kind and showed us where our room was, as it could be a bit confusing first time reaching them. Promptly, on request during booking, they offered us a cot. 5 minutes walk from the underground (red : Central line) and right next to the hyde park

They were nice to give us a cot, for our 7 months old. And that is fantastic. But rooms were definitely not built to have an extra like this. And because we had a baby we realised that the air conditioner wasn’t working properly. By the time we realised that it was 4 in the morning and we could only put an extra baby blanket on her. But other than that, it was definitely doable and it was a very, very nice stay!

We needed just the basics as a place to get some rest before our early morning flight. While the rooms were smaller than we expected based on the pictures, it was quite adequate for our needs. The beds were comfortable (we expected them to be the hard, can't wear out mattresses of lower end priced facilities). The space was efficiently laid out considering the limited space. Also, we thought the price was fair considering the location was close to where we were to catch the train to Heathrow and the size of the room. The entire facility was very clean and fresh smelling. The staff was helpful.

The one part of the layout that concerned me was the tiny bathroom door opened inward which would make any emergency access very difficult (hinges inside the bathroom). We travel with carry-on sized luggage which we had to store in front of the room door, which was okay but not ideal.
