Great hotel in a lovely area of London. I had a deluxe double room which was spacious and clean. The room had enormous windows which opened onto a private small deck. I chose this hotel for the location near some of the attractions that I wanted to see in London. Once there I discovered that the neighborhood itself is wonderful. Close to Portobello Road, Kensington Palace, Holland Park, several shopping areas with pubs and coffee shops, and Paddington Station. Several Tube stations within a short walking distance will get you to anywhere in London. The room was decorated in a traditional style with heavy dark velour curtains and damask wallpaper. The four-poster bed was comfortable and cozy. I did not have breakfast at the hotel so I can't speak to that aspect. Overall I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a comfortable place in a great neighborhood.

Nothing comes to mind here. I was highly happy staying here and only wish I could have spent more time at the hotel to enjoy the outdoor deck.

Stayed in quadruple room which was one large room with corner sofa and 2 single beds with stairs leading down to another bedroom with double bed, both rooms had TV and lovely decor. Bathroom was quite big with large walk in shower and double sinks. Everything provided tea, coffee,bottled water, toiletries, hairdryer etc . Air-conditioning was really good and a separate tower fan supplied which was perfect as it was so hot outside. The area is really peaceful but at the same time is minutes from anything you need. Staff are pleasant

Struggling to find something I didn't like but if I am being picky..There was a courtyard at the back of the building with seating which looked lovely but couldn't find how to get to it.

As a group of friends it was nice to have a sitting area in the room for in between times. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Nice quiet street, but only a short distance from restaurants, bars, shops. Staff were helpful. Sourced a bottle opener for us very quickly! Didn’t have the breakfast, but could see it was available. Location was great for a concert at Hyde Park. A few tube stations nearby, so easily accessible. Great place for a short stay.

The staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful. My friends however, on check-in, found the receptionist to be abrupt, unsmiling and unwelcoming.

The hotel is good and nice but I think the only hotel in London (maybe in the world) which does not keep the luggage to their customers the check-out day! So if you have the flight late in the evening you have to spend all the day in London carrying your luggage with you!!

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. We could easily get to all the places we wanted to visit in London and of course public transport was amazing which took us right into the city centre. The hotel is very clean and the staff were all very pleasant.

Our room was a little small for us since we are travelling for three months and had a lot of luggage. However this was not the fault of the hotel, I should have booked a larger room. They were fully booked so couldn't offer an upgrade.

Very nice location in a quiet, typical street of London, several nice pubs and the underground station within 5' walk. Kensington gardens within walking distance too. Common areas nicely decorated and well kept. WONDERFUL LITTLE PRIVATE TERRACE IN THE ROOM with table, chairs and flowers. Good breakfast in a cheerful breakfast room.

The room size was incredibly small! that was expected anyway, and it's probably hard to find more for the same price in London.

the room was absolutely gorgeous and was surprised with a little balcony! it was clean and roomie in there and i could say i’d definitely live in a room like that!

the staff to customer communication was quite poor check out time was different to what it said on the site to what they told us in the morning when they knocked on our door to get us to leave, we also weren’t allowed to leave our luggage even though check out time was early and out train home wasn’t until 10pm the same night.

Location: Excellent! Convenient for transport everywhere. Quiet road and elegant neighborhood Facilities: Spacious room with nice view from the window. Toiletries, hair dryer, ventilator ,boiler, coffee and tea available in the room, elevator, breakfast excellent, quality choices. Staff: most friendly, polite and accommodating. The manager was particularly caring ! Excellent decoration in the reception and the waiting lounge The room was really clean and there was daily service I would highly recommend it!!!!

We loved the room, we had room 103, it was a split level room which allowed us to sleep seperately from the children. The beds were comfortable, we had a sofa area and the bathroom was great with a deep bath tub. It was quiet at night so we all enjoyed a lovely sleep. Located near to Kensington Palace and Bayswater tube means this hotel is in a fab position. For the price we paid, we were pleasantly surprised by the room we were given and would definitely stay again.

Breakfast could be improved, its very basic even for continental. Cereal, yoghurt slopped into a big bowl and fruit are available. Bread for toasting, quite hard bread rolls and conserves. Watered down fruit juice. Coffee machine. We were not down on the list for breakfast, reception sent us down but the staff greeting us refused to let us sit down and instead of them going upstairs to check they sent us back up but still did not seem to believe we had the ok and spent several minutes whispering to each other and staring at us which was a bit uncomfortable. Get this part right along with the fab room and location and this will be a great little bargain of a stay.

Cosy and warm but a window that could be opened. Very clean and nice bathroom. The room was very small but perfect for my needs on a one night stay. Very nice restaurants literally 4 doors away which was very convenient.

No Earl Grey tea or Marmalade at breakfast and the staff serving spoke no English at all. I wasn't the only one with a question so that was difficult. Earl Grey would have been appreciated... normal tea is too strong for me. Again, marmalade would have been nice. Jam is not the same thing!
