Lovely settings, F\fully equipped kitchen, friendly staffs. It is not a 'chain hotels', so there is no standard services, but staffs are friendly and settings, furniture is beautiful. I would definitely come back. 20min walk to Paddington station so it is good access to Heathrow airport. many choices of underground/bus stations depending on where you want to go.

It should be also well understand beforehand that there are some sounds from upper floor, chatting of staffs can be overheard in the room. Shower booth was hard to open from inside with wet hands. some warning could be helpful not to be locked in to shower booth all naked - I spent good 5 min inside struggle to open the door as i didn't bring towel with me :)

Amazing accommodation in London at a very good price for the location and what it offers. Excellent customer service from the beginning to the end. Staff is extremely friendly and seems to always be happy to help with a smile on their face. Beautiful building with a traditional, yet modern feel to it in terms of comfort. The hotel is refurbished to a good standard and offers everything that one needs. The small kitchen can be very useful especially for longer stays. It has a good size sink, microwave, kettle, plates and mugs, even a pan. It truly feels like a home away from home. Very comfortable bed and pillows (even for a person like me who has back problems. I slept extremely well). The single room that I had was on the (very) smaller side, however it is very well furnished and decorated so there's nothing missing - it has space for luggage, an armchair, a small table, a small cupboard and several hooks to hang clothes and towels. The property and room itself were very clean, everything smelled fresh. I was positively impressed by the fact that in the morning staff wiped the tables and chairs in the garden although it was pretty cold and there were no other guests to sit outside. I was the only one. Great attention to detail! The bar downstairs and back garden are great. I loved the atmosphere (and the coffee).

Even if the room was clean, there was dust and hair in the furniture drawers (probably just a small slip, as everything else including the bathroom and bedsheets looked perfectly clean). I didn't need to use the drawers so I didn't bother about it and didn't inform the staff, but it might be an issue for other guests.

This property is located close to Queensway and Bayswater underground stations and to a street with pharmacies, food stores and restaurants. Also very close to Hyde Park. I particularly liked the well-equipped kitchenette in my room and my view. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

There is no lift so not ideal for people with mobility problems. Also, I was on the fourth floor and the last two flights of steps are very steep.

Everything! The room was really comfortable and it was great having a proper fridge and some cooking facilities right there and easy to use. The separate shower and toilet were spotless and the shower was really powerful. Yes, my room was up two flights of stairs, so people do need to consider that when booking, but I loved the quirky, characterful decor and ambience of Vanvouver Studios and the stairs are part of that. Being upstairs and at the back meant the room was very quiet, even with the window open at night, and I didn't need to use the earplugs I always have with me for city breaks. I had the continental breakfast all three mornings, which was plentiful and very good value for money at only £8.50. Vancouver Studios is only five minutes' walk from Bayswater Underground, which is on the District and Circle lines and perfect for the V & A , for example. A special mention goes to the genuinely lovely staff, especially Nadia, whose encyclopaedic knowledge of the London Transport network saved me when my plans for a day's exploring and transfer to my friends' home some distance outside London were disrupted by engineering works on the Underground lines I had expected to use. Nadia worked out detailed plans, including buses, to allow me to do everything I needed to do as well as organising a reasonably priced taxi for me by calling different companies to get the best value deal. What a star! Everyone at reception was invariably friendly and cheerful and helpful, even organising a maintenance man to fix a broken switch on the wee hob in my room literally as soon as I reported it. Amazing!

The location is perfect, right in the city center, but quiet, with no tourists, and lots of places to eat nearby. To my surprise, the room was spacious enough for one person (I expected it to be smaller). The staff is very nice and friendly. The Internet was good most of the time, but it would disappear for some minutes.

I had a pretty interesting situation with cleaning: the hotel asks you whether you need it. After a day of staying, I told the staff that cleaning was needed, and they promised someone would do it, but nothing happened. When I reminded about it the next day, they apologised and the room was cleaned. But then the same situation repeated a couple of days later: I don't know where exactly the miscommunication happened, as every time I asked for cleaning they said that it would be done. Anyway, it wasn't a deal breaker :)

- the room we stayed in and booked wasn’t featured on booking.com or the hotel website so wasn’t what we were expecting. The photos on booking.com were similar to the rooms we were given. the room was smaller than expected - room needs an update compared to pictures on booking.com and website (marks on the wall, carpet torn, kitchen floor coming up)

The staff is wonderful - super nice people, will do anything to help. There is a guest laundry for £5, with American sized commercial washers. Good location, 5 minute walk to Bayswater tube station, Tesco, Sainsbury, and a bunch of other shops and restaurants. My room had a kettle, refrigerator, a two-burner cooktop, and a toaster. The hotel has a 24 hour front desk, and breakfast is available for a small additional charge. There is a nice garden at the rear of the hotel - great sit spot.

I should have inquired about the room location - I booked a single room that turned out to be a fourth-floor walkup. The building does not have a lift, so you'll be schlepping your bags up and downstairs. No AC, so windows open in the summer. Not a ton of street noise, but some. I'm glad I brought foam earplugs.

It was a nice archaic style house and not updated which i liked.It was a great stay and the room,the decor was great and had so many home comforts including a microwave and fridge.

The breakfast was not that good.I prefered an English one other than continental but the english breakfast wasnt avaliable.The tea inside the room didnt taste good.One of the staff members embarrassed me a bit asking if i was sharing a room with another guest when i went to collect my room key one early mourning.Didnt like that.

Such a warm welcome from staff! the room was cosy and clean and I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. it’s also a great location and very quiet!

The Vancouver is a charming, small property. It has retained all of the quirky, classic aspects of a 19th century home, while meeting and exceeding the needs of its guests. My room was small but incredibly efficient, including a kitchenette, ample storage and a view of the garden. There is a laundry facility on site, a charming garden, drawing room designed to meet the traveler’s needs and a bar/ breakfast area serving specialty coffees, pastries and specialty cocktails! The location is stellar- close to 2 tube stations and many restaurants.

I was able to keep my window open in my room, as it was safe to do so. Unfortunately, the room overlooked an area of he garden where people congregated to smoke. Thus, my room frequently was filled with cigarette smoke.
