Great central location, close to the station, city centre and quay but still nice and quiet. Modern, clean room with air conditioning and the facilities we needed. The grab and go breakfast was useful and staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was quite small so not much room to unpack or spread out, and nowhere to sit and eat if we needed to. This particular room also didn't have any external windows, so no natural light. The television had a bit of a knack to use it (we had to ask a member of staff to show us) which meant pulling it out to switch it off and on again at the mains. The coffee from the machine wasn't great but luckily there's a nice coffee shop a couple of minutes walk away.

Breakfast was basic but had enough to cater for everyone. Rooms are spacious and felt like home from home. Staff are a credit to the company. Simon was very helpful and went above and beyond. Rooms where immaculate and had really powerful hairdryer that alot of other hotels lack. It had an iron and ironing board that I didnt need to use but if I was stating longer it may of came in handy. Beds where super comfortable and I had a great night sleep. Absolutely amazing location. Near train station and next to quayside. Great WiFi. Had a few games which was a lovely touch. (Jenga was fun)

Tv sound quality was poor so it was quite hard to hear/understand as it was quite tinny sounding.

Excellent location, facilities, great view from room, staff were really helpful friendly and professional. Luggage storage lockets were great. I'd certainly go back and recommend to others.

Non acceptance of cash.. A big no no Not really anywhere to sit and eat Given that room has great kitchen facilities. A small table instead of large foot stool would have been preferable. (Not a complaint, just an observation, personal preference) Position of television (607) Even with TV extended on bracket A giraffe would struggle to watch comfortably. (Sure this can be easily rectified)

Very clean, well-equipped apartment, with a compact kitchenette that was perfect for my needs. It featured a fridge with a freezer compartment, microwave, small hob, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and all the glassware, crockery and utensils you’d need. Additionally, there was a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, a rain shower and power shower, toiletries from the White Company, and a very comfortable bed. The grab and go breakfast was very welcome - croissants, pains au chocolat, yogurts, pancakes, a good selection of teas and coffees as well as orange and apple juice. The lady on reception and all the other staff I met were friendly and chatty.

Comfy room with the bonus of a fridge. Massive TV. Good location by the station. Quiet at night. Big bed. Check out nearby Beer Street if you like great craft beer and ales.

No problems of any note or consequence we will stay here again. If I am being picky the coffee machine is not good, I had 2 espressos and a flat white in one mug and it was a bit watery even though I had held the mug away from the machine when water alone was going in. Even pickier-only 1 regular teabag? There were 2 Earl Greys and a decaf too but a 2nd regular teabag would have been a nice touch.

Amazing friendly staff, who really go over and above for their guests. Clean and only 5 mins walk from the station. Lovely selection for breakfast in the morning which was an added bonus.

The website I’m reviewing on, showed a studio apartment for a little extra, so I chose that but the photo was actually of the studio (which costs less). The photos aren’t showing the correct rooms, so please be careful when booking! We were lucky to be upgraded when a much larger room became available as a goodwill gesture from the property.

The bed was one of the more comfier ones I've encountered in hotels. Own kitchen, large enough if you really want to do some cooking (I didn't). Fridge was handy to have. Spacious bathroom with excellent shower. Unfortunately too many times you can stay at a random hotel and the shower is very underwhelming with temperature and water pressure issues - not here as this one was ace. Plenty of storage space if required. Full length mirror. Aircon does the job well, WiFi excellent. Area is a short stroll into town/train station, it was very quiet during my time and no disturbance from other guests.

If I have to nitpick, I assume some rooms like mine have no/partial views. Did not bother me one bit as it wasn't booked for the views and was out most of the day, but I can imagine some people might have an issue with it (seriously, don't - plenty to see and do stepping out of your hotel and it's in city center so you can't avoid other buildings blocking views)

It’s not that I didn’t like things just a bit of feedback. It was billed as a superior apartment. I expected a bit more space. I’d call what I got a room with en suite kitchen and shower room. An apartment should have a bigger lounge space. Breakfast very limited …a few more items would be good. BUT I wasn’t disappointed with the stay and price. Had it been £150 a night rather than 90 I would have been a bit less impressed.

Conveniently located close to the train station and a very friendly 24h reception. We could store our luggage in a locker even before check-in. A small breakfast is included, nothing fancy but very nice if you fancy a quick bite and a tea or coffee before starting the day. There is a kitchenette if you would like to make your own English breakfast.

I thought we a had a room with a view but the view was to the station and not to the Tyne. But since we walked about most of the time that was no big deal.

The room had everything we needed. The kitchenette was useful. The shower was good. The curtains were thick and kept the sun out.

The towel rail needed to be fixed while we were there. Services do not include bed making. We were left without a shower mat and some towels at one point. Bins were emptied regularly. The flooring was coming up in places and the sealing in the bathroom needed a clean. There are no drawers in the room which was odd. Chaise long had a rip.
