What a lovely hotel. There were no negatives. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and well decorated. Bedroom was perfect, extremely clean. Lots of towel provided. Bed and plenty of pillows were comfortable. (Fan provided I assume due to heat - much appreciated!) I used both the gym and pool. The gym is full of top quality equipment all very clean and well maintained, it was quiet and had no problem using whatever I needed. The pool is only small but perfect for a quick swim, with the bonus if a hot tub and sauna. Changing facilities were immaculate. Towels for the pool are provided. I only ate one lunch time and it was very nice. Couldn’t comment on rest of menu but looked to be a good choice. Plenty of parking at rear of hotel. Easy to find and quick to get into Nottingham. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

The breakfast was exceptional, the shower powerful and hot, the bed and pillows comfortable, parking was easy. The bar and breakfast room were good. I'd definitely stay again, even with the knowledge of the things I didn't like.

As I often find when using booking.com I get the most distant and smallest rooms. And on this occasion, a room without a window. My room was also along about a mile of corridors with many fire doors and changes of level, which was okay for me because I'm fit enough, but for anybody less able, or carrying heavy luggage, it would certainly be a challenge. And there was next to no signage for getting back to reception. What I found annoying was the number emails telling me about my upcoming stay. The usual ones from booking.com plus 5 or 6 more from The Beeches. Including one asking me to send a scan of my passport - that wasn't happening.

Best hotel we have stayed in for a long while, early check in and parking request was fulfilled due to going to football match. Online check in process is easy otherwise check in at reception. Free gym and swimming available for guests. Staff all very friendly and helpful. King size room was perfect for us, high standards of hygiene and toiletries, tea/coffee all good. Smart TV, opening window and a large fan in the room if needed. Bed very comfortable. Shower excellent. Buffet breakfast excellent. Bus stop outside if you want to travel into town. Nearby Wetherspoons a 20 minute walk at Trent Bridge which serves great food. Other restaurants available nearby. Hotel has its own restaurant which we didn't try this time.

Bar staff excellent, prices were reasonable in high cost days. Bar area comfortable clean and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. I cook myself and getting the breakfast to this standard was great. It was cooked perfectly, tasty and enjoyable, sufficient quantity as refills were possible even though I didn’t do this.

The bedroom was small and only had a little natural daylight, as I only stayed overnight this was ok, but fora longer stay I would have wanted a different room. The room itself was clean and tidy, the bed linen very good and the bed comfortable though a little hard.

The reception staff were excellent, polite, helpful. Booked our taxi ride for us and answered all our questions with a smile. Bar staff followed that up with fantastic table service, nothing was to much trouble and they remembered my drink each time. lunch was delicious, arrived swiftly. Nice outside area to the side of hotel, to relax and enjoy a drink/food. Swimming pool and jacuzzi hit the spot after a long drive. will definitely be using this hotel again

Only a few small things, room needed a little TLC (loose towel rail), no view from window (but wasn't in room that much, but some people may like a view) swimming pool didn't open till 9am on Sundays so couldn't have early morning dip before breakfast. We asked why and its the noise of fans etc waking guests up (totally acceptable) but breakfast could have finished at 11am not 10am So close to a 10 out 10

Receptionist when we checked in was not the most helpful. She could do with some guest care training to help her deliver excellent service.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Lovely staff, great food and one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed.

My only criticism from this stay was that, not surprisingly given that it was the end of May, the central heating in the hotel had been turned off. As it had been unseasonably cold during May my room was very cold. The hotel remedied this immediately with a portable heater, which did the job, but perhaps a little thought about weather conditions and not just the date on the calendar would be good.

Staff were friendly and helpful. As I was meeting friends in town, leaving the car parked and using the nearby bus services was convenient. Breakfast was very good quality.

As my mobility isn't what it used to be, route from lift to room along 3 short corridors with 2 small sets of stairs wasn't ideal. However, I hadn't informed hotel of my difficulty or requested a more accessible room. TV was not the best. But these are minor quibbles in an otherwise very pleasant stay.,

What a fabulous place, the staff were brilliant, the room well equipped. The hospitality tray had tea, coffee and biscuits and the bathroom had miniature toiletries and large towels. Everything was spotlessly clean. The room was very quiet and the bed was really comfy. There was lots of free parking and as an added bonus there is a swimming pool and gym too. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the river Trent, a 10-15 minute walk from Trent Bridge and 15-20 minute walk to Meadow Lane and The City Ground. The food was so good I ate in the restaurant every evening, not something I usually do. There is a shop just across the road.

Nothing not to like.

The location was excellent, bus stops directly outside hotel making access to city centre easy. The hotel and facilities were great, staff very helpful and friendly, food superb with good portions and value for money. The pool facilities were great and very clean. Will definitely try to book when visiting Nottingham again.

The only thing that could have been better were the pillows, which could have been firmer but that is personal preference.
