The location was perfect: the hotel was smack in the middle of the city centre yet there was no noise at all from our bedroom. Just 2 minutes walk from the train station, high street and Oracle shopping centre. Room was standard size with separate bath and shower facilities in the bathroom so that was awesome. Breakfast was superb with varied hot and cold options. The kids loved the pancake maker and endless supply of Nutella.

Toilet was also separate but we recommend installing a sink in there so one can wash their hand after use. No complimentary lotion or shower caps supplied.

Hotel located in a great location. 5 minute walk to the centre of town, 5 minute walk to the train station, 10 minute walk to the river Thames. Rooms were spacious and bed was comfy. We had a room to the rear of the hotel so very quiet. Very large TV, coffee making and mini fridge. Was there for 4 nights so made the most of the pool, steam room and sauna. Can get quite busy so plan your times. Reception was open plan and inviting with friendly staff. The bar was well stocked if you fancied a before bed drink or night cap.

My only gripe was how to get to the hotel parking. The rear road to it had been closed by building work and looks that way for a few months to come. On asking site security they told me to go down friar street and turn down the at the lights, which we did not knowing it was restricted access for buses and taxis. Luck for us we went through in open hours of 11am to 4pm else a hefty fine would be in the post For the last night we parked the car at Broad Street Mall Car Park which although was a short walk to the hotel was £11 cheaper once you had your ticket stamped by the hotel

Modern rooms, spacious enough for 3 people. Bathroom had good facilities and coffee making machines available in room. The sofa bed was big and comfortable and the pool and saunas were always empty! So nice for a private and relaxing stay.

As there were 3 of us in a room, I had requested my sofa bed to be made up in which they said it would be done by 5pm. It took me 3 phone calls to make to reception in order to get some pillows and blankets. I ended up receiving all my sheets and pillows at 11:30pm and had to make up the bed myself as housekeeping had left by this point. Staff need to communicate more, although Samuel was fantastic and fixed my issue almost immediately.

The location is great if you travel by train as station is a two minute walk to the hotel. It’s also central for clubs and shopping.

Requests at reception are not acted upon. Our room only had 3 coat hangers for a room that could accommodate 4 people. Ask for additional coat hanger which was not actioned. Only having shower gel or shampoo to wash hands at sink as asked at reception for soap and was told that shower gel or shampoo was only supplied. Could have useful information in the room eg. Meal times, where and how to park if arriving by car, pool times, places of interest to visit, room service food menu, returning late after clubbing requirements. Said you could get room service but no phone in room 823 to order.

The staffs were so warm and welcoming, which really made me feel at home. Due to my flight delay, I had to make last minute reservation and was very late when I checked in. I was exhausted physically and mentally. The spacious room and the delicious breakfast genuinely made for a wonderful and healing stay.

The sink in the shower didn't work very well. I just had to be patient and wait a bit longer for the water to drain. It wasn't the most convenient situation, but I was still able to get clean and ready for the day. Hopefully, the sink will be fixed soon, but at least during my stay, it was manageable.

Great location as we were working just across the road. The staff were efficient and helpful, the room was clean and the facilities were great! We had a room on the 13th floor with a nice view of the city. The coffee machine was a really nice touch too.

There is a little shop in the lobby which is really simple to use, however, the prices were quite high. I don't mind paying a little more for good quality products, however, I would have liked there to have been a cheaper option for bottled/canned water. £3-4 is extortionate.

We stayed here for two nights as a family of 4 , 2 children one aged 12 one aged 3 turning 4 during our stay , we stayed here as we were visiting Lego land , they accommodated for the children really well whether it was colouring books and crayons or board games in the bar area/social area, swimming pool was a great asset open while 10 so our late evening arrival we could still enjoy the facilities with the children . My favourite extra was on the morning or our daughter's birthday they went out there way to deliver 2 pieces of lovely cheese cake with candles in with fresh strawberries and grapes to her at breakfast!! She was over the moon and such a lovely touch to end our stay especially when we did not ask for this they just noticed she had a "I am 4 t-shirt on" brilliant customer service and staff

Nothing really a little bit of wait for lifts and it was on a busy main street but knew this before stay and we where given a back room where we heard no noise at all. Also parking spaces in the limited car park are very tight but still manageable

The location of the hotel in front of the bus stops, and it's centred just two minutes walking from either the train station or the city centre. The breakfast menu is decent and has most of what you need to start your day. I stayed in an executive room, which was really spacious, and had a Nespresso coffee machine. One thing to mention is that if you have an "all accur" account, you can get way better rates.

Elevators keep going out of service frequently. It can get really noisy on a Sunday night, especially if your room has a city view since the main street has a couple of places where reading students can enjoy their night lifes.

Staff were exceptional, especially the waitress with short black hair in the evening. She was so warming and welcoming and bought my children all a book and activity pack, a nice little touch. Only down side to this place is the parking, we had to park far away which wasn’t ideal late in the evening with tired children but that’s my fault for not checking the location better. My kids enjoyed the breakfast as lots of choice.

The room was ok and had everything that was needed, however very dirty, especially the bathroom. Mouldy tiles, sealant around sink and bath all coming away and filthy and rusty all around the taps. I am a cleaner myself so maybe these things normally get overlooked but for me it was very noticeable 🙈 The bed was clean and that’s the main thing for me

Loved the central location and the hotel was extremely clean and tidy, beautiful rooms which where comfortable.

Staff weren't very helpfull with parking at the start due to our vehicle not being able to use a multistory, with loads of calls back and forth we did however manage to get sorted, parking here was also very expensive! The toilet was also in a seperate room on its own which I didn't like as you then had to go to the seperate bath\sink to wash your hands which was also beside the bed,
