The House was perfect: a completly new renovated very special house full of history, extremly nice and comfortable! Very special charmant interior! Jackie and her husband were very friendly, we felt totally at home. I can highly recommend a stay at this B&B to anyone doing the Eurovelo tour (and anyone else). It was one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in England!

Very friendly, welcoming hosts. Exceptionally large, beautifully furnished bedroom with a really comfortable bed. The bathroom was also great with a large shower. The hospitality tray was very well stocked, including biscuits and our hosts provided fresh milk in a fridge on the landing. There was also a lovely resident’s lounge and access to the garden with patio furniture. Unfortunately, we did not have time to use these facilities as we were only staying for one night. The breakfast was very good with cereal, fruit, fruit juice and a great full English with toast, tea or a cafetière of coffee. We could have had anything we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble for Jackie and John. We will definitely stay there again when we are in the area.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Red Barns Bed and Breakfast in Redcar, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm and welcoming service from the hosts (John and Jackie), who made us feel right at home. The bed and breakfast itself is charming and beautifully decorated, with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, a TV, and recently refurbished/decorated The breakfasts at the Red Barns Bed and Breakfast were a real highlight of our stay. The hosts are excellent cooks and prepared a delicious breakfast for us in the morning, with a range of options to choose from, including a full English breakfast, and fresh fruit and yogurt. In addition to the comfortable accommodations and delicious breakfasts, the Red Barns Bed and Breakfast is also conveniently located near a range of local attractions, including the Redcar Racecourse and the beautiful beaches of the North Yorkshire coast. Overall, I would highly recommend the Red Barns Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable stay in Redcar. The warm and welcoming hosts, beautiful accommodations, and delicious breakfasts make it a truly special place to stay. I can't wait to come back and visit again!

Such a lovely place to stay. A beautifully renovated old building with an interesting history. Jackie and John were great hosts and had gone out of their way to make our stay relaxing, including providing vegan alternatives for our delicious breakfasts. A nice touch was the fridge on the landing so each room had their own milk for tea and coffee in the rooms. Our room at the top of the house was very spacious with everything we needed and spotlessly clean and would be amazing as a family room with its two sofa beds. Red Barns is in a lovely part of town right next to the cricket pitch. It was a perfect location for exploring Redcar on foot (with the car left in the private parking.) Nearby Locke Park, Coatham Nature Reserve, and the sea front were all a short stroll away and the station was handy for an easy day trip to Saltburn, too. Highly recommend a stay here and hope we get to come back.

The house was amazing newly renovated to an exceptionally high standard. Only marked comfort down because the quilt was too heavy making for a fitful night. Marked location down as we didn’t like Redcar (but that had nothing to do with B&B) Marske nearby was lovely. The host went the extra mile providing my unusual request for breakfast. Both hosts were lovely and gave us an informative history of the property and it’s inhabitants

The property was decorated very well. nice bright entrance and a large bedroom with ensuite. coffee and Tea making facilities, hangers, plenty of plugs and wall usb sockets for charging. The owners made special effort to provide a vegetarian breakfast and there was lots to eat. We also got a brill history of the building. Next time I come to the area I will definitely stay here again.

Due to the warm weather some form of fan in the room would have been good. in fairness though we never asked for one so there may have been one on the property, they made such an effort with everything else I am sure they would have found one if I had asked.

very newly renovated so was like being in a brand new house, was shown around and had everything explained really well. lovely terrace to sit out on and very good breakfast!!! (Didn’t need to eat until tea time)

In one word this accommodation was....superb - in every single aspect! The hosts were brilliant; so friendly and helpful. The accommodation itself was everything you could want; spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable, spacious (with the opportunity to use the outdoor space as well) and offering a lovely resident's lounge area. Our room was large, quiet and boasted an immaculate en-suite. The breakfast was probably one of the best that we have enjoyed; fresh fruit, fruit juice, a full English, piping hot and cooked to perfection. The hosts recommended a great pub for an evening meal, (The Lobster) a 5 minute walk away and to top it all the accommodation was of great interest historically. If we were in Redcar again, we wouldn't consider anywhere else.

Everything!!! My 2nd visit to this stunning house, the rooms are well appointed beautiful white bedding, soft fluffy white towels. The full size kettle and hairdryer (travel size is the bain of my life lol) The rainfall shower is fab, the bed is exceptionally comfortable, with good WiFi signal. Only thing I can't comment on is breakfast as I haven't had any by choice, but will the next time as it smelt delicious. Parking is private and spacious, follow the specific instructions and its easy to find. I hope there is a room for me next time I'm in Redcar.

The people were very nice, the room was nice and clean and breakfast was good.

The two windows in the room did not have curtains or blinds that properly cover the window, so in the morning light coming in around the window disturbed me. However, much worse was the 'Fire Exit' light over the door. A large very bright light, right in my face when I lay on my side. I have never experienced a similar one in a hotel bedroom before and would not stay in that room again. A shame as it spoiled the comfort of the room.
