Loved The Beacon Hotel it was near everything we wanted. From stepping through the front door right up to and including the bedroom it was very,very clean and fresh smelling. The bed was comfortable and a lot better than we expected it to be. We had a lovely peaceful relaxing two nights here and slept very well. We visit Redcar a lot for day trips but will defiantly use the Beacon Hotel again for a few days stay in this little gem of a place.

Maybe a little shelf in the bathroom to place toothbrush etc on.

The lady that met us at the front desk was so lovely and was there for anything we needed. The whole hotel and rooms were so clean and the bed was very comfy. We had a small onsuite with shower but there was also a room next door that was bigger with a toilet and larger shower. Tv has Netflix! Location was amazing about 2 mins from the sea and parking at 4.40 for a full day was really good. All in all it was a fantastic stay and I'd definitely stay again.

Location was good, easy to get to to tourist areas such as Salburn and Whitby. Room was clean, fresh towels and bins emptied daily. Host was welcoming and polite. Liked the fact you could use all the kitchen facilities downstairs and fresh milk provided if needed. Tv and pool table and lounge downstairs that was used. Host Jenny showed us around and welcomed us which was a nice touch.

The noise from nearby pubs and clubs was loud and went on very late. Tv signal not great in room and kettle may need looking at as it kept switching off. Room and building lovely otherwise and we enjoyed our stay.

A clean, friendly, comfortable hotel. There was a nice shared kitchen, outside area, dining room and living room. The hotel was good value and very close to the beach.

A bit noisy outside as the road is busy in the evening, but it was too hot in the room to close the window. These were minor problems though and I would stay there again.

Location is perfect only a few minutes walk to seafront and high street. Staff super friendly we felt at home straight away. Hotel super clean, cleaner came in each day who was also super friendly. Our room was a good size and super comfortable beds. We heard no noise from outside and had brilliant nights sleep. Definitely our go to hotel each time we go to redcar now. Kids didn't want to leave, we've booked again for a couple of months time!

The Beacon Hotel went above and beyond in terms of the friendliness of the staff, how clean the room was, how big it was and was easy to find. My brother and I booked this hotel an hour and 45 minutes before Middlesbrough vs Spurs at the beginning of March as our hotel in Middlesbrough town centre cancelled our booking 5 minutes before we arrived so what was a very stressful experience turned into an excellent one and I'm very grateful to the lady I spoke to on the phone of The Redcar Hotel (can't remember her name) who was so helpful and accommodating!

Really lovely breakfast 🍳 I’m lactose intolerant, I usually bring milk with me but forgot, however, if I could have proper milk, there was great choice, I wouldn’t have faulted it at all :) every thing was nice and clean and just simple, which is all I needed and wanted. And great staff, really helpful, friendly and will be there if you need them

One and only suggestion, not really a complaint, I would like to make is for the shower to be a bit stronger, it worked fine otherwise :) that’s it :)

Right next to the sea, great cafe round the corner, staff very friendly and free wifi. Nice lounge area and a pool table. We could also park directly outside but this isn't free mon to sat.

Bed was a little hard for me, it was fine for my wife. There's a few noisy bars just up the road, so there were noisy drunks walking past late on but we were on the ground floor front room so I guess other rooms would be better at the weekend.

Once again a wonderfully exceptional stay, with such friendly staff giving you a home-from-home experience within a homely environment without a doubt highly recommended for its comfort/cleanliness and ideal situation for the beach and town minutes away. I will continue to return whenever possible.

Lovely welcome, Jan was very friendly, explaining how things worked, showing us personally to our rooms. Nice lounge areas, a kitchen where you could prepare your own food if needed, shared bathroom was large with a great shower. And the breakfast was superb, no need to eat again for the rest of the day.

Staying during the heatwave, meant the small room was rather hot and stuffy. Not really the fault of the hotel though.
