Everything was lovely! We (3 friends) stayed in one of the cottages (Oak), for a night. The cottage was clean and spacious. Our stay was in COLD January, but the cottage was lovely and warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked questions about local walks, and the facilities. We also ordered breakfast for the next day, which was delivered to our cottage - it was delicious, and was great to have the added treat of someone else cooking for you! (We are a mix of veggies and meat eaters, and they catered for all our requirements!) The whole site was very picturesque, and welcoming.

Everything. Stunning surroundings, peaceful and quiet, great facilities except the outdoor drinking water tap had frozen over so couldnt open it and went without water after I had finished what I brought with me. Had a takeaway delivered late at night no problems. Food service was offered but I chose not to use it for breakfast as wanted an early start to walking and evening food was either pizza or sharing deals. Not too welcoming to solo travellers makes you feel left out note not everyone is in a relationship. Everything was immaculately clean and well thought out. The extra fan heater left in my room started smelling of burning when I plugged it in so I quickly turned it off and had to be cold until the heater had warmed the place up properly. It was already on but very low and it was an extremely cold winters day so the pod was freezing. They did let me check in early for free which was very kind

As above, could be better advertised food deals for single ppl or more variety the I would not have called for an external.Everything else was brill and would happily book again

We loved the whole site, the cute walks around the site we're perfect for the whole family and the walk ways and bridges by the stream were beautiful. Gorgeous to look out to see and hear the water from our accommodation too. There was so much for the kids dotted around like a football net by the lake, slide on hill, playground equipment along boardwalks the whole place was so cute we loved the games room too.

This really isn't a really big issue but for future we'd ask to stay in a different accommodation if possible and again I like to stress it really wasn't that awful lol just would be easy for parents... as our youngest is 1yrs and he could see us through the glass balcony when we'd put him to bed so we ended up hiding into the kitchen 🤣 but it looks like some of the other accommodations the same as ours have the balcony covered so it would mean we could have chilled in the lounge until our youngest was asleep

The property was amazing and had everything we needed in the kitchen. There were a few marks on the walls from previous guests but these were flagged up and didn’t spoil our time at all. Heating was wonderful when we got to grips with it aswell :)

We had to keep the windows closed most of the time which wasn’t a major issue but if we hadn’t we wouldn’t have had much privacy as you can see pretty much everything in each apartment for those walking by so would have been nice to enjoy the views without feeling like we were being watched however by no means did this disrupt our stay majorly at all!!

The space inside the glamping pods is more than you would expect, with a large double bed inside the one we slept in. The mattress was really comfortable and not too cold as the heater on the wall worked really well. The space in between each pod was just enough to give privacy for a peaceful and quiet weekend. Supplying facilities such as a small refrigerator, television inside each pod really made it possible to enjoy the weekend as it meant that we did not have to spend a fortune on food, and that we could just relax and not leave the pod if we wanted too.

The WiFi wasn't good inside the pods which I suppose is expected given the location but I did have to use my data for the 2 nights I stayed. No fault of their own but the pod smelt of stale smoke, I don't know if this would he the case for all pods but it wasn't nice and difficult to get rid of.

Perfect couldn't wish for better. The most wonderful welcoming hosts. A fabulous place to stay very cozy, yet light, spacious & airy at the same time. Lovely little kitchen area, although we chose to try out the food ordered from & delivered by our hosts & most excellent it was too! Although our chocolate brownies were forgotten from our cheese & crackers feast we were not left hungry there was plenty... we will collect them next time😜 Next time -& there will be a next time we shall return with our fur baby & stay longer. Heartily recommend this fabulous little gem of a find.

There genuinely wasn't anything absolutely FANTASTIC - & after 3 nights at a 'supposed' top quality hotel they could learn a lot from this establishment - starting with how to welcome your guests!

The area is picturesque and the site is nice and secluded. We stayed in Hideaway which was a lodge with bathroom. The main reason we also stayed is that dogs were accommodated. Breakfast lunch and dinner can be pre booked and will be delivered to your room.

The only suggestion I would make are minor, the bed in Hideaway is spring slats and I feel a solid slat bed would be better for guests. Maybe have a fan available in the room even though we stayed late September but had beautiful weather but sadly at periods were a little to warm so we had to have both the window and door open.

For us was a 2h driving trip, so the location was brilliant with a cosy "hideaway chalet".

The chalet was quite dirty , but we had clean bed shed and towels. We had to move the bed and the furniture all around to brush and clean the floor with a wet cloth, as we had our 2 cats with us... The curtains where nearly falling off, and one was ripped and hanging on a corner... The rug was full of dark short hair, as someone just shaved his beard on it.

cozy, excellent break away from the city. staff didn’t bother at all and was very friendly and helpful! had a lot of facilities, easy to access and use for free. beautiful view and just a great time to have with partner or family

Seven minutes shower though it is eco-friendly it’s also inconvenient. A lot of bugs and spiders, could be due to the trees and surrounding nature, resolved by keeping windows closed but it would then get really stuff. The accomodation could have been a little cleaner but it’s okay! Everything makes up for it. Also the soap in the bathroom was a solid soap rather than the liquid ones which was also a bit inconvenient, especially when we lost it the first night and had to use body wash as an alternative! Just a few things to improve the experience next time.

The views - perfect, staff amazing and so helpful, lovely accommodation, clean and tidy, everything needed was there. Breakfast option was great, and delivered bang on time. Drinks in the cafe great value for money. We had great weather too which made a big difference as we could enjoy the sun on our little terrace. Love all the pathways and benches around the grounds. We will be back 😁
