The property looks like an abandoned property. Room was very dirty . The toilet always stinks. There was no staff at all and no daily cleaning. Only stuff I spoke to over phone and was very rude. Never going back there

I didn’t like anything of that property

We have been given more suitable room. It was comfortable, clean and good value for money. We read reviews and felt unsure but didnt expect too much. It was better than what we thought it may be.

When we were booking we had info it is with brfst but it wasn't. To be honest cant expect breakfast and room in this price. However, info was wrong. We got actually more suitable room when we got there and the staff was polite so at the end of the day we were satisfied.

You can't grumble much when I only paid £45 for the night! The 'bed' was comfy and the shower was hot. The room temperature was a lot better than a Hilton!

I ended up in a twin room so had a single bed although I booked a double. I didn't complain as I had a front facing and wasn't prepared to jeopardise this :-) My sink had cigarette tar marks on the side and when I used it a cigarette butt rose up from the plughole. The shower wasn't powerful at all but did the job.

Really impressed with Channel View Hotel. On arrival staff were very welcoming and polite. For a budget hotel ... it is excellent value! Big single room, en suite. Modern TV with lots of extra channels. Free tea and coffee (with extra supplies in reception). Along with a bunch of fresh oranges 😆 Location is very close to the beach/pier. Comfortable bed. I felt very safe as a solo female. Will return to this place 😊

Room was very spacious, comfortable and very clean. We could get the good view of the Sandown beach from our room.

I had booked the room included with breakfast. Unfortunately I received an email on a previous day saying that breakfast is not included. I was a bit disappointed and gave a call to the management. The Management rectified the thing and promised me to refund the amount.

The room was cosy, the heating worked without fuss, the bathroom was functional, the bed was comfy, tea and coffee was provided. The staff member who handled my booking was lovely and helpful.

The building is a touch old and so there was a draft in a couple of places.

Excellent location. Good room with a view. Friendly staff. Adequate parking. Nice clean facilities.

We knew that there may be no catering while booking but due to the location breakfast and evening meals were close at hand.

It was basic but did its job, me and some mates were over for the scooter weekend, based on previous reviews, we expected very little but wasn't as bad as the reviews lead us to believe.

The bar could have been open, there was nothing available in the hotel except a coffer or tea in your room. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

Very good value. Comfortable bed. Efficient shower. Close to town. Clean. Plenty of tea and coffee. Good TV
