The location was amazing. So close to the beach. I loved the breakfast in the morning and loved the layout. If u don’t want to go out there was amazing places to sit and enjoy the view at the hotel. It was cheap as well. Staff were very kind and even offered to get us vegetarian sausages for breakfast due to our religious beliefs.

I didn’t like the check out time. It’s too early. Our ferry left at 7pm and we had lots of time to spare however we had to check out at 10am. I would’ve loved if checkout was a little later. The latest they did was 2pm but you must pay 15£ for every hour from 10am. Other than that it’s amazinnggg.

Great location, our room had balcony and overlooked the sea, easy parking but then the hotel wasn’t full. Salma the Proprietor, was very friendly and chatty. Breakfast was good, cereals and cooked breakfast: already prepared and sitting in trays.

We arrived about 3:10pm, checkin from 3pm, we wasn’t greeted by anyone at reception, an envelope was left on the desk with name and room number. Inside had the key and a note with some information. There was a telephone number at reception to contact if any issues. Maybe an email in advance to explain this would be helpful. I’m guessing when hotel is full this would be different. Room was very small with a tiny bathroom, shower was extremely small.

WOW - What a stunning location overlooking the sea and beaches of Shanklin. Wonderfully friendly staff especially Salma who was the consummate host. As the hotel was unusually quiet this October Salma upgraded my side view room to a front sea view room and it was breathtaking. Very clean with a huge comfortable bed, blackout curtains and extremely quiet and peaceful during the night - I had the best 3 nights sleep ever..! Just a 10 minute walk along the esplanade to Shanklin Old Town where evening meals at The Crab pub and The Village Inn pub were lovely- highly recommend.

Nothing to dislike at all.

The location was absolutely perfect. Stunning sea views, exceptionally helpful staff. Salma was very informative and friendly. She recommended places to visit on the Island, and we gladly took her advice. Jabed was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. They both went the extra mile and made our stay very memorable. So again, thank you and I would certainly recommend your establishment to others. The breakfast was fantastic and I personally thanked the chef. Excellent value money. In my opinion, Shanklin is the best location to stay. The bed linen was very clean and so was the room.

My only criticism is that the bed was a little uncomfortable and small. We will come back, but will book a larger room, although I had requested an extra large bed at the time of making the booking. I think that this would cost a bit more, but the venue, service, breakfast, location, free parking, free Wi-Fi, etc. are more than worth it.

Our room was very comfortable with lots of little personal touches that were very thoughtful. We love, love, loved the huge balcony and the egg chair was perfect for relaxing looking out to sea. The breakfast was very well set out with everything you could possibly want. On the Sunday morning there was a pianist which was a fabulous touch & put us in a great mood for the day ahead. The hosts were friendly & made sure we had everything we wanted or needed. This was our first visit to the Isle of Wight & this hotel & we weren't disappointed, would highly recommend.

Great hotel, location brilliant, staff very attentive. The buffet "all you can eat" breakfast was very good, great quality and choice and everything cooked well. Dining, bar, lounge areas all very relaxing and plenty of space.

I marked the room size down, but the room itself wasn't too bad, decent for a double bed, but the en-suit bathroom left a little to be desired. Very tight sitting on the toilet, could not get washed at the sink without the door being open, and you couldn't really open the door properly because it hit the corner of the bed. Any larger type person would have difficulty getting in and out?

Pleasing decorations in down stairs space and reception. Good location as it was a short walk to town and beach.

No one on reception and no clear signage as to how to get hold of a member of staff or owner if needed. My upgraded room (from single to small double) had no heating the first night and I could not get hold of anyone to help. Fortunately one of the kitchen staff sorted the heating out the next day. I was so cold on the first night I had to sleep fully dressed.

Chill-out areas in the conservatory are welcoming, comfy and a lovely place to sit and chill, the breakfast was fab and lovely to see the host every morning to greet you, the shower was immense and the look of the foyer is stunning!! I especially loved the rug (will be purchasing one!). Car park an added bonus and, yes it is tight, but it is a car park and we had no trouble getting a space even when it was busy. The piano playing at breakfast on one morning was really beautiful and the host and staff could not do enough for you. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

The room was small - it was called a small double so it wasn't too much of a surprise, but it was smaller than I was expecting! If you were on the larger side then the bathroom might be a little small to maneuver. The hotel is so beautifully decorated that is is a shame none of that colour and vibrance is in this particular room - I have seen the other rooms and they look fantastic, so maybe this one is up-and-coming!

Wonderful hotel and amazingly helpful, kind, thoughtful owner, Salma, who makes every guest feel like they are special. We had a lovely room overlooking the water and the bed was the most comfortable my husband and I have ever slept in. Our daughter was with us and she was in a large single in our room. Our room was newly decorated and was warm and comfortable with lovely decor. A great breakfast with everything you could want. The staff are friendly and helpful and there are so many lovely places to sit and relax downstairs overlooking the water. Thank you Salma for such a lovely stay. Trish

The owner and staff were exceptional, could not do enough for you! The view from our room and the breakfast/lounge area was wonderful. The lounge and breakfast area was great with so many areas to sit and relax looking at the view along with outdoor comfortable garden furniture too! A couple of mornings while eating breakfast, there was a gentleman playing the piano which was pure delight! We will be going back next year!

The room we had was on the 3rd floor but the staff were marvellous and took our cases up (we did have quite a few too). Also the room was a little small and not much room to maneuverer, but we are going back and upgrading to a bigger room.
