Excellent communication from host. Free parking space. Key safe, so flexible check in/out times. Well equipped kitchen. Very tidy. Clean bedrooms, living space and bathroom. Bath for washing our toddler. Outdoor seating, although we didn't have a chance to sit outside. Dishwasher. Good location for visiting Beamish and Diggerland.

Beds could have been comfier. Tight parking space (wasn't an issue for us as the adjacent spaces were empty). Small kitchen (waste bin needed moved to access fridge freezer) with small fridge freezer. Socket location above cooker hob not safe.

We were very happy with our stay in Andys lovely apartment, it had everything we needed for our short stay. Our visit was purely to visit Beamish Museum which was a short drive away, so it was a great base and somewhere comfortable to return to after a long day of sightseeing. Andy's guide book was invaluable as it saved us the hastle of looking for decent places to eat. We had a lovely meal at The Shepherd and Shepherdess, very reasonably priced and a fish supper from the Fish Inn also really nice. Should we visit the area again we would definitely stay at The Fairways.

Loved the size we had our 2 young grandchildren with us and great for them to run around outside in the garden. We loved the kitchen as we could make breakfast was well equipped. Great location for Beamish so will be booking again in the future

If I'm going to be picky the bathroom was a bit dirty still and the boiler made a load noise when switched on.

Great apartment 5 minutes drive from Beamish museum. Well presented and very comfortable for a family of four. Nice views from the living room over the golf course and countryside beyond. Would definitely recommend and rebook.

Kitchen might be a bit limiting if staying as a family or group for more than a few nights - e.g. fridge / freezer is very small.

The Appartment was comfy, well appointed and a had a nice view from the back of the appartment. Plenty of spare blankets and towels. Very convenient if you are visiting Beamish. Easy location if visiting North Pennines. The Owner was very helpful. Highly recommend. Plenty of room for four people.

Everything clean, comfortable and all on the ground floor. The accommodation was excellent for visiting Beamish museum and Durham. The owner Andy sent good directions and interesting information which was very useful.

Everything … it had everything you needed , it’s lovely and spacious and decorated lovely. It was very convenient for beamish and visiting The Angel of the North . Andy couldn’t of been more helpful and pleasent

a spacious apartment with comfy beds and sofa, a separate dining area and a well equipped kitchen. The apartment was clean with modern furnishings, nice lighting, TVs, power sockets, just as in the photos. Due to the weather we were unable to use the patio but this looked lovely with a seating area and beautiful views. Communication with the owners was fantastic, very welcoming and obliging. A lovely stay.
