A quite small hotel (has 3 floors). Nice location quite close to everything downtown. The room was clean and has a comfortable bed. You can request a parking permit at the reception that is valid for your stay. Staffs were very helpful and friendly!

Elevator seems very old and very slow. There are stairs but they are located on the sides (not in the middle where the lobby is located). I think it is a bit on the expensive side. It is close to a bar, so you may hear noises from the bar from your room. You need to request for a cleaning of your room one day in advance, otherwise it will not be cleaned (not sure if this is common in the US).

It is centrally located to many of the attractions, restaurants and shopping places. The dining room served a good quality breakfast. The Anchorage Museum is about a block or 2 away. Most of the places you can either walk or ride a bike which there is a bike rental place like 3/4 blocks away.

A bus stop is right outside our room. Hence, it can get a little nosy in the morning. You will see some homeless people around the bus stop.

Room was a nice size, bed and pillows were comfortable. The living room area was a bonus. Having a small refrigerator was nice. There was a breakfast, but I didn't try it. Also coffee available downstairs. It was quiet in the hotel. Good location, and able to walk to downtown area.

If I had to be picky, I'd say although there was a coffee maker and refrigerator, maybe having a microwave would have been nice. That being said, it wasn't an issue for me.

I love the room size and the location along with the free parking. It is a very comfortable place to stay and in a convenient location. The front desk staff was all great and very helpful.

My husband had some issues with the worker making breakfasts. He had multiple interactions with her and she was short and rude every time, clearly not a person happy to be there. I also did not like the bar situation. There are posted hours for the evening so we thought we would have a night cap. The bar was very uninviting, no stools to sit at the bar plus chairs up on the all of the tables so that just left the booths along the wall to sit at. We did not stay because it was so unwelcoming.

Love everything about the hotel. The customer service on check in/check out was great. There was a man on our check in day who exceeded expectations on service. He helped us with our washing, helped another customer out with snow at their door and was just overall a gem! The rooms were really clean and the size we expected. We had a nice view too. The bathroom was nice and I liked that the toilet was split up from the sink. It allowed us extra space to get ready. We also had a little seating area and this made a difference with space and comfort as well. The property helped us with our flight issues with airlines as well and offered to make calls. They allowed us to use their phones when the property phones didn't work. Overall, really pleased!

The breakfast/bar lady is extremely rude. She cut in when we were asking simple questions. One morning we wandered into the breakfast area and she yelled at us explaining it was closed. Very odd given the rest of the stay was quite pleasant. When ordering breakfast one morning, she also was very difficult to talk to. She needs to be retrained on customer service.

Comfortable room and beds, helpful staff

The powered blinds didn't work in our room. The front desk person took care of it, but powered blinds seem unnecessary. Just give me something that blocks out the 20 hours of sunlight in the summer and doesn't let people see into your room on the first floor. I didn't book an ADA room, but that's what we got.

All staff members were very nice, courteous and helpful; location was fine because we had good weather for walking and it is in a quiet section of the city; room was a good size

We really miss having our room cleaned each day and fresh towels delivered rather than having to ask for them; only one washing machine was working in the laundry room; breakfast was not as good as we expected and it took a while to be served, but it was included, so we appreciated that

Vast room - could have accommodated a family easily (I don't need so much space but some travellers would appreciate it, I guess). Everything worked, staff helpful and kind. Ideally placed for bus to airport

More of a generic comment on Anchorage than on this specific hotel, but the city has little of interest, and the hotels all seem rather expensive. If you can avoid staying in Anchorage you'll probably be better off

Location was perfect because was very close to the railroad depot. Room was very spacious, clean, power of the shower was a massage to the body, towels, sheets, pillows, room temperature, were nice. Gentle staff.

Room was a little bit dark and use coffee capsules (too much plastic)

The big big big room, bathroom, shower and big plushy king bed with lots of fluffy pillows and crisp clean bedding 😉 I really enjoyed the TV selection.

Door lock didn't seem very secure. Unable to open the blinds or window at all for fresh air... The heat system was crazy loud...but not the end of the world.
