Pool service was great! Restrooms were clean. The surroundings were great! Friendly staff.

The fact that our door key wasn't working 3 times because the battery for the door to enter went dead Sunday. Our room was a little bit of a travel because it was a Casta. No big deal about the Casta, just frustrating when we were having issues with our room door 3 times. Twice on Saturday and then again on Sunday. Security was able to let us in after about 15 minutes Sunday after waiting outside in the heat. Our room did have ants in the bathtub when we woke up Sunday morning. Upon arrival and entering our room it smelled like bad BO for a long time. Carpet was dirty and needs cleaning.

Property was absolutely gorgeous. Loved the Native American flutist each night and the multiple firepit seating areas. Bar was great for both drinks and food. Room was large and clean and quiet. The staff across the resort were wonderful. The Spa was really, really great, but would have been even better if it had a hot tub/whirlpool.

Coffee at restaurant and coffee shop was horrible - thankfully I brought my own and made it in with the coffee maker in the room! They don’t provide housekeeping unless you request 24 hours in advance and they didn't tell us that when we checked in. Room was dark and dated and Mountain View was over the parking lot. No cushions on the chairs on the balcony so we used the room pillows.

Beautiful property, landscaping and the vistas!

No activities for children. Also Spa was too expensive - add some cheaper options!

All the facilities were to a very high standard and the hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff and the location are the real standouts at El Conquistador. The front desk, valet, restaurant & breakfast staff, poolside staff and coffee shop staff made us feel very welcome and cared for and deserve recognition. The Epazote restaurant was truly a delight, we kept going back because we loved it so much. Everywhere was nice and clean and well-kept and the views of the mountains were stunning. A memorable place to stay indeed.

I honestly can't think of any criticisms.

It was in a beautiful location looking out at the Catalina Mtns.

Around the pool, people were saving seats that were shaded with umbrellas, but no one arrived to use them. We had to sit in the direct sun and we were there. We looked around the pool and saw many with towels on them, but no belongings or people around. One family saved an entire row with 3 umbrellas lined up.

The service was the best we have ever had. From the valet employee running to open the door for us to the front desk, room keeping, the waiter at the restaurant, the waiter at the pool and the employee at check in were all absolutely incredible!! Patrik at check in was so detailed and gave us so much information. The food was delicious too. The grounds were beautiful and the room was spacious. would definitely recommend spending a bit more money and getting the king suite if you are a family.

we like everything

Pools were awesome, and it was nice to have several to choose from.

Cafe closed too early for me to have breakfast on the day I checked out (10:30 am). Floor of restaurant patio was very dirty. Food, food packaging, dental floss tool, spills.

This place was beautiful. Remodel area was dirty but that is to be expected. Loved the grounds. Loved the fitness area. Loved the outside seating. Loved all the outside chaise lounges. Loved the pool area. Loved the lobby. The staff was amazing. They should have told us about the 'Scavenger Hunt' (Summer of Gold) at check in.

Limb up some of the trees so some of the rooms can see the pool area. Please please clean out that lower pond of wood debris and water bottles.

. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have activities daily and the yoga class was excellent.

The bathroom was outdated and the room itself needs serious updating to warrant the room rates. They play music in the pool area all day and it’s so loud, it can be heard in the rooms.
