Stair access to the room was challenging with luggage and an animal. While the lodge was listed as pet friendly,it really wasn’t. Our dog was required to rest on a large moving blanket to protect against depositing dog hair in the room, a policy I wish I had known about before I booked a room.

This room was fabulous. It did not even look like your normal hotel room, it was like you were in a room at an Airbnb or someone's house. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for suggestions on things to do in the area. Close to everything and priced reasonably. Very satisfied with this rental. Extremely clean and comfortable!!

No complaints at all

The willingness to accommodate my cat n me. The folks there are reasonable and kind, and that makes it all run smoothly. Loved the shower and the comfy king bed. Also, like the roominess and of course, the magnificent views!

While the floors are swept very clean and light mopping is applied, the tile floors had a lot of dirt still on them. A heavier mopping w good old elbow grease is needed. One room I stayed in was a King Suite n very nice but I smelled stale cigarette smoke in just about each corner. I happen to be quite sensitive to odors and very allergic to smoke. Perhaps some deeper cleaning? Otherwise, it was perfect.

Excellent location, we walked to the major trails. Super clean and all that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The bed was perfect for me, everyone is different but I like soft beds. The three different front desk staff were super friendly and very helpful. Giving us tips on places to eat and less busy trails to walk.

The front desk hours, only open from 7 to 7:40s but we learned that it's normal for smaller hotels in the area. We stayed at a different hotel for the second half of the trip (in West Sedona) and they also do only some hours of the day for their front desk service.

Very spaceous rooms. Separate bedroom and very nice spaceous living room with kitchenette area. It had a very nice view of Bell Rock and other Sedona Red Rocks. It was 5 minute walk from several trailheads. Some restaurants and bike rentals withing walking distance. Sedona town and other tourist location maximum 15 minutes drive. Very friendly staff, especially the chap on check-in with the colourfull shirt, who gave excellent advice. :-) We would stay here again!

(1) Disappointed about the "kitchenette": it was only a kitchenette because it had a microwave and fridge (like alot of hotels have anyway) and a large counter surface, but no cooking rings, no plates, no cutlery, no bowls (to even have a cereal breakfast). (2) We stayed 4 days and previously requested housekeeping after 2 days. "Not a problem", they messaged, we only had to remind the front desk the night before which we did. However the next day it was not done, bins overflowing and no fresh towels. Went back to front desk, they did send a cleaner within 10 minutes which was fast but the cleaner did an extremely fast clean of two and a half minutes (bins, towels and a quick one minute vacuum of living area).

We booked a suite for our family of three, and it was spacious at 500 sq ft. Comfortably furnished, clean and neat. Front desk clerk was polite and helpful, offering us maps of the area. The buildings are lovely, with stunning hand painted murals and colorful landscaping. The location is perfect for a family with children, but be aware that the suites are upstairs with a very steep flight of steps, which may make it challenging for people carrying heavy gear. Nearby is a pizza restaurant (Rotten Johnny's) with an adjoining grassy area to wear out the little ones before bedtime, there's also a close grocery store (Clark's Market) in case you forgot to pack an essential. And you are a bit distant from the traffic that routinely clogs Sedona on the weekends, lots to see and do, you'll find one weekend is not enough and you will be tempted to return often.

The sofabed should not have been made up with bed linens. Best to leave sheets for it in the closet and have guests make it for themselves, that way they know the bed has been changed (?). A blanket and two pillows should be available for the sofabed, fortunately, we always travel with our personal pillows and blankets, so we were ok this trip.

It was my second time to stay here. I got same room as I got last time it was awesome. Front desk lady was so sweet and she even guided me to my room. Easy access to main Sedona area. Bell rock and Cathedral rock trails are just 10 min away. There are some restaurants and gas station is across the street which is very convenient. I will definitely stay this property again when I go back to Sedona.

Only I didn’t like -Wi-Fi is not working well (Last time as well) -Saw roach -People were talking so loud in hallway like 11pm and that woke me up

The location is in the 'quiet' part of town and it's easy to access points of interest. And, an easy walk or a more challenging hike is accessible from the front door, without a car! The room was comfortable. The roof-top seating was really nice and provided a good view of the surrounding iconic red geographic features while sipping on morning coffee or enjoying the evening.

While the room was comfortable, the floors were a little dirty based on what my light-colored socks picked up. And, there was a cockroach in the room. (I don't know if this is common or unusual in Sedona.)

Location and value! Walking distance to Bell Rock, beautiful views outside your window and patio, close to shops & dining.

Bring your own amenities including toilet paper, trash bag, and bowls to heat up your food. There is a mini fridge, microwave, and small coffee maker. They do not regularly take out trash or clean your room, restock toilet paper, etc unless you ask. So the first night after a long day out hiking, we came back to our stuffy room with our trash still full (office already closed by then). These are not deal breakers, still overall good price, clean, and spacious rooms. Our room was upstairs, it may be difficult for some folks to carry heavy luggage, etc.

Staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They were knowledgeable about nearby offerings and eager to offer suggestions. The patio with the gorgeous view of the surroundings was perfect for enjoying a quiet dinner of takeout from a nearby restaurant.

I had a room very close to the main entrance and it was quite easy to hear hallway conversations and doors opening and closing. This did not impact my overall opinion of the venue. I would absolutely stay here again. I was exhausted from my hiking and the noise did not keep me up, but someone who's a light sleeper might want to keep this in mind and request a room further from the main entrance.
