The room was so cosy with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was just a short drive back into Williams. I liked the covered outdoor dining area and there were also fire pits but we didn’t use them during our stay.

Soundproofing between the cabins and the adjoining kitchen can be an issue if the other cabin are noisy people. I would like to have been able to see a person when we checked in and if we had any issues during our stay but as was common in most of the smaller properties we stayed in everything is done by email. I miss the personal touch these days

Becky was our main contact and was on top of the communication from the day we reserved. She reached out initially, introducing herself and making sure everything was in order. We opted for the additional breakfast fee beyond the standard hotel breakfast, along with some dietary restrictions. The hospitality was amazing, accommodating any need that came up. The staff was friendly with excellent service. The cabins were private, absolutely clean, meeting pretty much every need you could have. We had 5 people, and the set up was perfect with an adjoining space that had the extra trundle bed, kitchenette, eating area, access to an outdoor deck and fire pit area. Small things were thought of beyond the normal hotel accommodations, like extra blankets on site, robes, even some board games in the room. Being a Contractor, even the craftsmanship of this log cabin style space was exceptional with design and finish work. Becky even had a well designed booklet designed in the room, to help inform your stay and activities/ attractions in the area. The property was quaint with only 6 cabins andante lodge. Set up like a little town, it even had a center pavilion, with benches, hammocks, a grill and both board and yard games.

One small wish was for room darkening window treatments. Not a bad thing, but he location was a bit surprising too tucked back in an unsuspecting area with some homes mixed with commercial properties; it was right off the highway, which was convenient.

Everything!! We loved the Wild West theme, including the decor in our Americana room. The location was close to everything we visited in Williams and free parking on site. The Trapper’s Den was a great community area to meet other travelers and grab a snack and coffee (really helpful when traveling with my young son!). The staff was pleasant and super helpful and responsive. I’m so glad we cancelled our original booking at another site and stayed at the Trapper’s Rendezvous!!

We purchased the optional breakfast, which was decent, but I didn’t think it was worth its value.

Really beautiful accommodation, spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed and sheets that made it hard to want to get up in the morning Friendly helpful owners who booked a local restaurant for my partners birthday and also arranged a cake on arrival, lots of little touches make this a really romantic cute place to stay after a day exploring the South Rim

Unfortunately breakfast was really disappointing, paid $30 for 2 very small plates of egg, 1 tiny sausage and 2 bits of bacon I had read reviews about how great the breakfast was including pancakes, muffins and fresh juices so we were really looking forward to breakfast which unfortunately left us wondering what happened

Caroline was an amazing host! She’s an excellent cook and the 4 breakfasts that we had were delicious and very generous portions. She repeatedly checked with us to see if we needed anything and was very helpful in orienting us to the community.

We are seniors and so a few things are helpful ie. a grab bar in the bathtub/shower.

Trapper’s Rendezvous was amazing! It was clean, comfortable and quiet and no detail was overlooked. The breakfast was delicious and there was more food than we could ever eat. Caroline was very accommodating and even prepared to-go items for the morning we headed out early.

Bathroom was a little cold with a noisy heater! Not a big issue and temperatures outside were a little colder than normal for time of year.

Location in Williams was perfect for attractions such as Coaster Canyon, Grand Canyon Railway and Bearizona. It was also perfect distance to Route 66 and all the places to eat. The cabin was really authentic and big - even for our family or 2 adults and 2 kids! It was perfectly clean and comfortable and the air conditioning kept it at a lovely temperature. Breakfast was out of this world! Caroline did a different selection each day. It was all freshly cooked and, against felt really authentic! It was nice to try what locals eat for breakfast. The prickly pear cactus syrup was awesome with the freshly made french toast. Caroline is a great host with a really welcoming communal area inside - full of games, books, a few toys and complimentary snacks and drinks - this was just the perfect touch. There is a great play area outside with lots of games for kids (and adults) and a grill for outdoor BBQ! Great experience and can't wait to come back!!

We were greeted by name with a big smile from Caroline. She was super friendly and helpful with suggestions about the area. Breakfast was excellent, with a choice of options made to order. Definitely with the extra fee. The room was tastefully decorated, clean, and super comfortable. We stayed in the Americana room and loved the theme carried out with the furnishings, and decor. The location is just outside of the town of Williams, and off of route 40. It could not have been more convenient.

We like everything about the Trappers Rendezvous.

the Inn Keeper Caroline was fantastic! friendly, welcoming, and great with the kids. really appreciated the hospitality. loved that there were healthy snacks and drinks available during the day. super clean room. very roomy for our family of four. plenty of room for kids to run around, plus outdoor games. breakfast area also has board games with books, crayons, activity books. fire pit with s’mores was memorable with the mountains in the background. great location: 5 mins drive to historic downtown of Williams. one hour drive to Grand Canyon south rim. 5 mins to Grand Canyon railway (which is fantastic for kids as they do a cowboy show and robbery on the train plus live music) 5 mins from Bearizona. one hour drive to Sedona. 1 hour drive to Grand Canyon caves. very manageable with elementary school aged kids.
