Stanford Inn & Suites Anaheim

Clean rooms, basic motels rooms. Just what you need for a couple or small family. We were 5 people, kids 20/18/15 so needed a cot, tight fit for a cot.,nobody seems to have a 3 bed room,or they want a grand for it. So Stanford let us rock a cot. My 20 yr old said it was fine, but probably best for kids Gotta climb over a bed to get to washroom. Only issue though. Small fridge in room. Keep water chilled to take on the days explorations. Breakfast starts early 6am. waffles eggs potatos cereal bagels fruit muffins toastcoffee tea juice. Perfect for an early start. And with a family of 5 a godsend. Nothing is cheap on vacation, so an affordable hotel/ motel with bearky close to the attractions is great. Outdoor Pool and hot tub, towels provided. Staff helpful and friendly. A couple of blocks from Disney. Drive don't walk just eat the parking even though it's close if your wallet can take the hit....it can't...but do it anyway. After a day at Disney walking home even a few blocks is brutal.

Dated rooms, a little bit of wear as expected. Comfy beds though and good Ac. People complain about cleaning every few days, You can ask for what you need. You are their to sleep while you go play. I had no issues. Everyone is understaffed, everyone. Every hotel, every restaurant, Disneyland, the ambulance, the hospital's....just go and enjoy yourself, and clean up your mess like at home and life is good.

I love that the location is literally 6 minutes from Disneyland making it super convenient to just Uber there and back through out the day for less than 10$ a ride! perfect location next to a lot of stores, restaurants, and gas stations. the breakfast was really good also, loved the make your own waffles 😊

the ONLY downside is that parking is minimal close to your hotel room and if you do find a spot, you better not move lol also they recommend not eating breakfast in your room but there NO WHERE NEAR enough seating in the cafe to eat with everyone’s families eating at once, this was my only issue! everything else was great!

Nice hotel for families not luxurious but comfortable. All the staff were very polite respectful and helpful. They tried to fulfill all our requests within the hotel limits and we appreciated that. Laundry room was available for customers which is great for families with children. Close to Disneyland could walk but we drove there as we had a car and children. Close to many restaurants and shops. A small market that had everything we needed was right next to the hotel. Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. Breakfast was acceptable and the muffins offered were amazing. Breakfast staff and cleaning staff were all exceptional and they made our stay amazing.

I would say everything was excellent the room that we got was the two queen size beds with the kids room very roomy and comfortable a good location to visit Disney it was not very far there were a lot of good restaurants and a very popular Italian ice place it was definitely worth the wait the lines were long but it was very good everyone in the front office was very nice if we had any concerns housekeeping was definitely on point we stayed seven nights and was told that housekeeping will come every other day they actually ended up coming every day I will definitely be staying here again when I visit Disney

I will say the only problem that I had with the hotel was the pool gate was faulty a little bit our room key didn't work on it even when we went to the front to get it fixed it still wouldn't work it was working on some keys and wasn't working on others

Fantastic staff: Booking refuses to make it clear to us guests that an extra bed costs some money. However, the staff patiently waited for the guest (me) to calm down and then offered the extra bed for free. Amazing service. The value of the room is totally fine, everything is there - no frills.

Booking, please fix the omission: it is so much better to be very upfront about any costs. The cleanliness of the floor is not as should be: we sort of cleaned the floor ourselves after discovering that a little water does magic to prevent our feet soles from turning black.

The room was exactly what we needed. The extra bedroom has bunk beds, a television and a small table and chairs. I literally did not see my kids the entire time we stayed as they loved having their own room and bathroom! The beds we’re comfortable, it was clean, and there were plenty of towels to go around. Staff was very helpful and kind.

We have a room on the back side and were told we could park along the back and use our card key on the gate to get in. That was not the case as it would not work. Also, there is a $100 deposit that was not told to me so upon checking in I had that surprise.

The hotel was in good location, breakfast was good but a variety would be great other than the same hot breakfast every day. Room was clean and had no issues.

Parking! Parking was kind of a pain. As someone with a disability not being able to park in the handicap parking and having to park in the very last row was an inconvenience and troublesome. Not having an elevator or not being told about one and staying on the 2nd floor with disability and having to carry up suitcases was also an issue.

Free Breakfast was typical but with great extensive selection of foods. Our first room smelled bad and musty, seems like there was water leakage in the room. We were able to get a different room which was much better and cleaner. Overall I like how the rooms are convenient for guests to access and the setup of the room is perfect for 3-4 guests to move around and get ready as the sink area of the washroom is outside the washroom which is helpful when getting ready all at the same time.

I just which there is a shuttle in which the hotel can give access to get to airports as it was hard getting an uber or taxi to do so and very expensive.

Breakfast should have included protein choices

When we checked I was not told about no room service that rooms would not be cleaned your clerk did not advise us to anything regarding cleans towels trash on 3rd day requested room service was told someone would come to clean as time permitted and no one ever came or was advise about having trash picked up was not advise until that night no room service due to covid19 just disappointed that room was not cleaned I’m on vacation don’t want to clean room myself there should have been a discount since I had to change sheets and take trash out and do my own bed plus clerk also did not advise of additional parking behind the hotel I was not advise of parking fee until I checked in

The options for breakfast was wonderful, the employees were super friendly especially Desiree the graveyard staff. It was an extremely long day Saturday and she understood what I had went through and got me a coffee & put creamer in it for me from breakfast bar. She went above and beyond and that moment it was exactly what I needed. The day of checking out we needed to extend we couldn't do to booking with a third party, but I was able to book again & stay in same room. Great customer service, I give a 15 out of 1-10.

The location! It was a 27 min walk to Disneyland which I say DO NOT DO W strollers, toddlers. We were a party of 10, bad idea right there. 4 adults, 6 children another bad idea too. So then we stayed from 8a-12:30a no breaks just stayed entire time then walked it bad even worse. So only bad is the location from Disneyland.
