The property had a homey feeling. The outside and inside looked very lived in. The rooms were spacious. Service staff was nice and eager to correct any errors. Rooms were not cleaned as well as I would like. Rooms needed a ceiling fan installed to help with the air flow in the attic type room called the Cork room. Breakfast was not what I expected, lots of dairy items. I will request a lactose free breakfast if we stay again. All in all the place was sweet and felt like a home away from home. They even gave us homemade cookies the first 2nights.

The outside was not kept clean. People couldn’t really hang out their because the outside furniture was old and dirty. No microwave in the small house or at least I a room. No ceiling fan poor air circulation in room. Small shower if you are plus size or 6 feet tall you can not fit properly into the shower for the Cork room. Breakfast was served cold in a dirty basket. No microwave to heat it.

The breakfast comes packed in a charming insulated carrier with the name of your room embroidered on top. The food within is varied from day to day but has fruit and yogurt, a muffin or some pastry, and possibly a piece of quiche, bacon or sausage, and OJ. All very tastily prepared. The in-room coffee machines are serviceable. There's a common room as you walk in stocked with a more substantial Keurig-style coffee machine, a microwave and a purified water jug. You can make popcorn, tea, coffee, all day. Fresh baked cookies in hallway are a nice touch. Gas freplace in the room was great and we were always cozy. Bed and bedding were most. The Galway room has a full standing shower not a glassed in bathtub/shower. We wanted that. Also, they provide Netflix and and full cable TV which was a great feature for us since before coming we were binge watching The Last Kingdom and we were able to continue.

The Galway room could be charmed up a bit more as we noted there were other rooms that exuded a bit more aesthetically pleasing wall decor and furnishings. For instance, the two metal chairs were superfluous and tacky as they blocked the useful window bench. This was a minor point since the room has all else you will need.

One word: Marvellous! We had the Limerick-Room - and immediately Fell in love with it. It has everything one needs for a stay in a hotel, high quality products with an irish scent (sheepmilksoap🐑) and even a fire place (though it didnt work, butcwe didnt want to check on it) We got a great breakfast and found water and apple cidre in the fridge, above it we got a coffeemaker. It was just pretty nice and therefore recommendable.

The property is quiet and set back from the road but the outstanding thing was the room - I was not expecting a large four-poster bed! A gas fireplace and comfortable furnishings made it feel very homely. A fridge/freezer and Keurig coffee maker is provided in the room as well as in the communal area. It is a 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Main Street. There are no staff on site but they were very quick to respond to text messages. The online check-in and check-out worked well. Breakfast is delivered to the room but you are able to take it across to the dining room in the main house if you so wish.

Breakfast was over the top wonderful, and most days lasted us through lunch to dinner. Yogurt and fresh fruit, quiche, muffin, orange juice were all part of the deliciousness. The room was very large and the bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed some wine in the outdoor common spaces in the beautiful CA weather.

I wasn't crazy about the bathroom not being attached to our room. We had to access it by going out in the hallway and unlocking which was awkward given that there was another guest room in the same hallway.

They provided a really nice breakfast each morning of our stay. Well thought out menu vs. continental breakfasts at other locations. Beautiful rooms were very comfortable. Provided live streaming for major channels and live sporting events as well as Hulu and Netflix. I had a little trouble getting the t.v. to work on the 1st night (operator error-me) but the hosts were quick to respond, polite and very helpful. A great little B & B!!!

Seems a bit petty, but in the older reviews there was mention of an afternoon happy hour / hospitality time. The hosts advised that this had been discontinued, no doubt a covid casualty. Coffee makers and fresh baked cookies in the parlor were a very nice touch.

A comfortable, rustic feel with comfy beds and good quality bath products. Added bonus was a fireplace.

Picnic breakfast baskets not served in time for a leisurely breakfast if you have an earlier tour booked for Hearst Castle First morning was a very limited variety of breakfast food which was basically sugar. Second morning was a better assortment of food. The room we had was a bit dark- all wood. It could have used a light fixture on the ceiling.

We had a great time. The room was quaint and comfortables. Bed was fine but new pillows are needed, perhaps one soft one firmer. The pillows were both very worn. The overall room was very clean but we did notice some spider webs around the top corners and blinds.

The statements indicate we could eat in th main house but we had to have maintenance open the doors because they were not open at the hours indicated.

We loved the decoration of the room and house, as well as the attention to small details (a women's touch). . Also the fireplace in the room was very useful and romantic.

The breakfast served to the room was not to our taste (contained mainly meat products): it was better if a day before our arrival we will be notified what there is in the basket and if we have any remarks. Also an indication of what time it will be served.

Very nice , clean older style hotel. Room very nicely furnished. Entrance hallway and guest lounge also really lovely. Contactless check in and access and pre-arrival information all very good.

Breakfast was disappointing. Delivered to room, perhaps as a Covid measure. There was some nice fresh fruit. but no options and the bacon and cake were no to our taste. A quiet location but noise from the room above, its an older building but carpet or other measures can solve such issues.
