Beautiful room decor, very welcoming and comfortable. Easy access to parking area for luggage unloading/reloading. Nice bathroom and coffee supplies.

The window set up in the bathroom was very odd. If window was open in shower/toilet area it looked right on to the stairway where people could be and we felt pretty awkward especially when it was dark outside. We stayed in rm 420.

The buffet breakfast was wonderful! We also were happy that the lodge had EV chargers available - and at no cost - that was very nice perk! My husband had a massage at the spa facility and enjoyed it very much - highly recommend. We stayed in a lower-level room in one of the buildings...it had a convenient ramp and adjacent handicap parking spots which made it easy to navigate down to and back up from the room.

The water pressure in the shower wasn't all that great and the shower could have benefitted from a new shower head...also the bathroom sink faucet was a bit outdated.

The breakfast was very well stocked with many choices. They had typical Western offerings from eggs, meats, oatmeal, biscuits, teas, coffee, and juices. We arrived 30 min before the end of the serving time and felt like we were being hurried as they were cleaning up all around us and changing over from breakfast set up. The food was good and very ample for being an included perk. The room we had had a separate seating area and fireplace. Very spacious. The fridge was appreciated. We enjoyed the live music in the bar area, though there was only one server working incredibly hard to take care of everyone.

Some of the room pieces were tired and a little worse for wear. The armchair had a broken arm under the upholstery. The fan in the bathroom was very efficient but extremely loud. The sitting area was poorly lit and even with all the lights on it felt dark. The switchplate on the wall had tape over it so it was not used, seems like a safety hazard and a temporary fix that should have been fixed before renting the space.

Next time I will ask for a second floor room - very noisy otherwise. The bed was not very comfortable and there was no refrigerator in the room. The pool experience was wonderful! The breakfast was generous but average offering. The staff is friendly, courteous, happy, and welcoming. I feel the J Patrick House suits my travel needs a bit better and I learned that when staying there I have courtesy access to the pool at the lodge which is a wonderful perk. The gardens and flowers are lovely and the lodge is situated in a perfect location. I prefer the amenities at JP House - better showers and more comfy beds. Thanks for a very nice experience at the lodge.

the shower and the noise and having to walk across the parking lot to get ice at the reservation desk. These are very minor annoyances in the overall scheme of your offerings.

The swimming pool was not able to be used after 10 pm, something that is not detailed on the website. August 13th was my birthday and also the night to see the beautiful shooting stars, even though we told the staff they didn't pay too much attention to the situation and just "rules are rules" was said. Also, we need to call the staff to set the second bed before 10 pm (it was key locked and there is no way to be set by ourselves), which means we need to go back to the house before that time, our night was broken in half, and we were not able to stay at the beach because of that and we were not able to enjoy the stars at the swimming pool place just because the rules. Not really happy.

The rooms are clean and cozy. The grounds are lovely. The location is perfect.

The food has really gone down hill. We ordered a couple burgers in the restaurant on our first night. I was shocked. How can you screw up a burger so bad? We also order what we thought would be a garlic dip or spread, they brought us 30 cloves of garlic drenched in olive oil with a few pieces of stale toast. Breakfast buffet was good. The women running it was rude and off putting. She kept telling people while we were eating as if we’re kids in a cafeteria, “you need to pick up your plates and put them over there”. we heard her the first 3 times. Not a smile, not a kind customer service tone, just seemed very rude and inappropriate.

We were there as a family to Celebrate our Brother/Uncle’s Life. He passed away at 63. We rented a total of 5 rooms that weekend. The folfout coach in the King Suite we rented was awful and so uncomfortable for anyone, despite have spine surgery last year. It was so uncomfortable that someone slept on the actual couch because it was so much more comfortable. The breakfast was disappointing, we had to wait for many things like plates, eggs, potatoes. The dinner in the Lodge on Father’s Day was mediocre, but the convenience of the location helped, but was not worth the amount we paid. We like Cambria Pines and have stayed many times, but will not return for a family gathering, but would maybe consider it for a couple get away, knowing we would need to eat our meals elsewhere.

Please change the so called mattress on the fold out couch that you say 2 people can sleep on. It is absolutely unbearable to attempt to sleep on in room 616.

Great stay at the lodge! Our first time staying at this type of accommodation but it was lovely. A great atmosphere at the check-in lobby/dining hall was full of fun people enjoying the room. The hotel room itself was large and clean and had a nice fire place which made it cozy. The included breakfast was great and had everything we needed (eggs, toast, sausage, bacon, muffins, fruit, cereal, coffee, tea, etc.) Would stay again!

Could be a bit of a rowdy place if you prefer somewhere more quiet. Perhaps it was because there was a big wedding so many folks knew each other.

Joe, the customer service rep that assisted me, went above and beyond to accommodate me. I have a bad knee and climbing up the stairs was a challenge. He upgraded our room and then ensured my child and I were as comfortable as possible. He even listened to all the art talk my child wanted to discuss and he took the time to show interest. The gardens are beautiful and their complimentary breakfast buffet had an amazing selection of eats! Thank you, Joe, for being an amazing host and showing care and concern!! We loved this place and will be back again thanks to him!!
