The sky deck is an amazing place to soak up the sun and enjoy some wine (they'll sell you a chilled bottle). It's cute and a great way to enjoy the waves while being out of the wind. The bed was comfortable and everything in the bathroom and room seemed updated and worked. The staff were amazing: so helpful, very friendly and really the highlight of the trip. The wifi worked well. The restaurant next door (Sea Chest Oyster Bar) was an amazing old-school spot to grab some very fresh seafood.

The only window in the room looked out on the parking lot and the light fixtures were very dim, which made it feel a bit cave like. The parking was tight when people on the other side had large cars. The room was very small and had no fridge. Overall, despite the place being cute we tried to spend as little time as possible in our room, which was a bit disappointing considering the over $250 a night pricetag.

the location is fabulous. Great for walking. Kind, discreet staff, attentive to our requests. Excellent breakfast. Gorgeous lobby with huge fireplace and pleasant music. We enjoyed the shared terrace from which we could have a drink and watch the sunset out of the wind

Unfortunately the lodge is not on the sea but has views to the sea, there is a road in between. Keep this in mind if you want a different situation. From the room window you can only see the parking lot, like in motels. Our gas fireplace stopped working after the first night, but we did not report it to the front desk; when we checked in they were supposed to do maintenance on the fireplace which probably has issues.

Beautiful beachside hotel! They basically refurbished/modernized an old motel and it's adorable. great location, beautiful rooms and the entrance/breakfast area is wonderful.

On booking.Com it was unclear that there was an additional $75 pet fee and that their pet policy is dogs under 40lbs and not allowed on the furniture or alone in rooms. this was a surprise to us and not ideal! also our fault for not reading all the fine print on their website but booking.Com makes things so easy we just assumed we were being charged the full price including a pup.

The location across a lightly trafficked road from the beautiful beach was excellent and really set a calm and relaxed mood. The Sky lounge was the place to be for enjoying the view. It was furnished with a big, comfortable daybed and Adirondack chairs. The room was a good size and amenities were very well thought out. The bed was big and very comfortable. Being dog friendly was bonus for me. I appreciated their tips on dog friendly places to eat and visit.

There was not anything I didn't like, except that there were no dog friendly restaurants within walking distance. However, town is a short drive away and there are many great choices there.

We loved the location and the roof top area to sit and have cocktails in the evening and have the sunset and beach view. Since we had to come to the front desk to get our coffee, we did enjoy the room where we could sit and enjoy the view. Your staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was very good.

The room was lovely but a few issues. The side tables are not not adequate for putting our stuff since you use "Tree Stumps". While it's cute and clever, it's not functional. Also, I do wish you had coffee pots in the room. Sometime I just don't want to get up to get a simple cup of coffee. There were ants in the bathroom so that was annoying. I think the room was overpriced but I realize hotel rates are up everywhere.

We loved Cambria Lodge, the comfortable room, all rooms are ground floor with parking in front, the sundeck above the reception with the view to the beach, the closeness of the beautiful beach, the staff and the restaurants in Cambria, all made our stay a big success. Oh yes, we also loved the breakfast and the fireplaces everywhere. Highly recommended hotel.

The location was great, the check-in lady was very friendly and gave a lot of info and recommendation's for restaurants etc. The decoration was very beautiful, nice beach atmosphere.

The building and the rooms were really basic, the decoration made it look beautiful, overall it was a bit overpriced. The breakfast area was very small, only 2 tables with 2 chairs.. so not suitable for having breakfast with our family of 4 persons.

Accommodation is very stylish, airy and modern - it was the coolest place we stayed in during our road trip of California. Location is directly opposite the beach Welcome staff were very friendly the facility to buy wine and snacks in your room

There is only one very popular restaurant near by [when we arrived people were queuing early with camping chairs so we had little chance of getting a table] so we had to drive to the main town. Most places are shut on a Monday, but we managed to get a take away pizza. A great option would be if there was some for of simple food available onsite The price of wine from the hotel was a little on the expensive side, given it was self service in your room.

Location was great near the beach. Bed was really lovely soft and comfortable, better than average. Great pillows. Nicely renovated old property. Nice lookout lounging place to watch sunset.

Breakfast was little sparse. We like more savory, warm breakfast. Not many choices and fruit were little unappealing. Good quality oatmeal and and almond bread though. Little pricy place because there is no hot tub or pool.

This property could have not been better designed. Sitting right above the beach the views were awesome. The designer that decorated this property was excellent. The rooms were very beachy and so tastfully done. Every inch of ths property was well thought out.
