Outdoor seating and fire pit, nightly wine hour, friendly staff.

No parking, mini fridge or A/C. Outdoor area very comfortable and great place to hang out but some nights they shut it down and take up cushions 1-2 hours earlier than stated.

Breakfast was wonderful! The best part of the stay, however, was the staff. They were all so friendly, professional, and plain fun!

The only thing I didn't like was the music outside. The sound of it came into our room while I was reading and trying to relax and I couldn't with the music :( It was distracting and not the music I wanted to hear while on vacation. I would nix it and just play it in the breakfast area.

Lovely staff, great location, very comfortable. Particularly enjoyed evenings around the fire pit or in the lounge.

Not well sound-insulated between floors - suspect those upstairs have no idea how much those below can hear! Oddly, though, very little noise travelled between rooms next to each other. Luckily, most guests during our stay were conscious of not being too loud. Very little storage space, could do with bedside tables with drawers and/or a dresser under the TV.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. Loved the option for daily delivery of continental breakfast. The menu offerings were very good. The location was walking distance to everything in town, yet the hotel tucked away in a quiet area which was very lovely. Thank you!

Parking was tough. I would like to suggest having a dedicated parking waiting area during check in and check out to assist with loading and unloading luggage from the car.

Amazing courtyard! Fantastic selection of Complimentary treats all throughout the day! Lots of fun accessories in hotel room to use. Bicycles also available for use to ride around town. Super dog-friendly too. All around great! Will stay again.

Lack of room ventilation, ac didn’t appear to work. Room wad warm despite having fan, air was stagnant.

The staff were friendly, professional and courteous! Yes the walls are thin, but the clientele are not college kids out for a drunken weekend...... We had a very quiet 2 night stay and had two teen aged girls next room over staying with their parents who had their own room. These girls could have raised hell like teen aged girls will, but again, clientele........

Well ,the water pressure is low. I don't know how to pump the fancy soap and shampoo stuff....... You will have to ask the front desk for ice.....but they are very accommodating......

Perfect location! Everything was within walking distance but nice that it was not in the middle of a busy area!! The staff was very friendly. Loved the breakfast and wine/cheese hour!

The room could have been a little cleaner. I noticed a lot of dust on the counter over the fridge and the bathroom floor was not very clean. It also would have been nice to have complimentary waters in the room. It was not cheap to stay there so I would have expected that at the very least.

the staff was very customer service centered. The rooms were clean and well stocked with extras such as blankets and pillows. The bed was comfortable and the fire place was easy to use.

Although partially remodeled the window in the shower was screwed shut making the only option for fresh air opening the windows that faced the walkway and courtyard. The walls are a bit thin making the dog in room next to us seem that much louder when it barked. The towels provided are on the small side.

Loved the convenience of the location to restaurants , shops and beach. Small venue so not a lot of people Property/rooms very clean Staff helpful

Easy to hear voices in adjacent rooms, central common area. Would have loved a small fridge and a coffee maker in the room . Refreshments are available in lobby though Expensive for what you get when compared to other cities however it is Carmel. Carmel is expensive!

we liked the separate spaces for living and bedroom, it was a great relaxing layout. the fireplace was cozy and the beds were super comfortable. loved the Malin and Goetz amenities. the happy hour with snacks and drinks was lovely and the breakfast food was delicious.

the bathroom door was a little broken and the AC wasn’t working, the room was a little warm for our taste.
