The remodel was a huge shift from what we loved about the original Colony Palms (somebody really really likes lattice) - but the poolside charm and general calm quietness of the space is still there. Service staff are top notch and the now working fountains and newly installed fire pit are an excellent evening feature. The new mattresses and duvet / sheet options were absolutely fantastic.

If you're a woman, the lighting is fairly dim inside the rooms (we assume to keep the spaces dialed down) which can be a makeup challenge. There is no full-body mirror option, just the bathroom sink area. There's aren't that many electrical outlets but there is a proper iron (but no foldable table, so we used the bed edge).

The room was cute - loved the decor but it was really dark. Bathroom was really big and water pressure was great! Bathroom was really nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable.

The room was too dark - would have loved more natural light. Service at the pool was practically non existent. No one came up to offer me a beverage, when I went and ordered from the bar they were very nice and they brought it out to me but then never checked in on me to see if I wanted anything else and didn't take away the dishes when I was finished. There were only 5 other people at the pool so its not like they were super busy. Pool is also 4ft deep - which is a little shallow for an adult pool.

Everything! It's a beautiful hotel with great staff. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff is very service oriented. They do everything to make the guest happy, many other hotels can learn from that! Loraine from the restaurant really makes you feel at home and makes sure you have an amazing evening.

When we booked it says that it includes taxes and surcharges, but we still had to pay € 45 per night for resort fee at check out. That was the only thing that was disappointing.

Very comfortable bed.

The room was very dark. Small windows. The bathroom was not light enough to put on makeup. Its seemed to be more set up for men. No makeup mirror or light and only one bar of soap. No facial soap as most high end hotels have. The off-street parking behind the hotel was charged at $35/night which wasn't made clear when booking or checking in.

Our stay at Colony Palms was amazing! I loved the vibe and atmosphere of the hotel. It felt peaceful and the perfect getaway for the weekend. Upon arrival the staff were very friendly and kind, showed us to the room and made us feel at home immediately. We hit the pool straight away and spent time relaxing. The pool area, drinks and food were all great. Our room was very large, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom featured Le Labo products. I would reall recommend this hotel for couples and friends looking for a quiet spot in Palm Springs. I can't wait to come back.

Wish we had stayed longer!

The grounds and decor and staff were fantastic.

The price was high. It was a holiday weekend but the room was small and very dimly lit. Also, the rooms were missing full length mirrors and the walls/doors were thin so sound traveled easily.

Restaurant was lovely, and the food was quite good. Pool service by Robert was excellent, and the GM was friendly and courteous. Linens were fantastic. Housekeeping was very good. Vibe was terrific as was the design. Excellent use of limited space (which is perfectly understandable given the downtown location.)

The bathroom amenities were a little lacking, not replenished, and there was no shower gel/body wash, which I thought was odd. Not everyone likes bar soap, and there was only one bar beside the sink, not one for the shower. Our check-in was well past 4:00, and we never received the promised call that our room was ready. We requested an early check in and arrived shortly after 1:00. I understand it allowed only as available, but you ran late and communications weren't great.

the decor and the little attention to detail.. josh in the bar was awesome .. David front desk super helpful and great.. valet guy really helped us as well .. I wish I remembered his name.. let us in our room when we lost our card .. got us ice .. just super nice and responsive

Great location and accommodation, we had been restaurant customers many times and decided to try out the hotel as well. We enjoyed the room, pool, and general amenities of the hotel. The rooms are silent and bathrooms are large, which was greatly appreciated. The valet people are very friendly and helpful.

We were booked until a Friday and the hotel was booked for a wedding over the weekend. No problem there, however, the staff threw us out on Friday at noon without prior notice nor the possibility to have lunch at the restaurant/hang out by the pool for the afternoon as other high-end hotels offer. We were left hanging dry without an apology until our flight in the evening. Would appreciate advance notice at time of booking next time so that we don't book this hotel if they have a wedding event.
